No he shouldn't be "named and shamed" you fool. He made a mistake yes, and he has been punished accordingly . You tell me what naming and shaming or "exposing" someone who made a mistake achieves. Hes made a mistake that he will live with, you are not God, unless you are perfect you have no right to "expose" him. People that think like this really piss me off, focus on your own jeevan before you judge other. i face the same problemm. i think keeping company with people who speak panjabi is the best way to pick it up- reading the translations to bani when u do ur paat is also useful in helping building up ur vocab. just ask ur wife/fiance/partner to only speak panjabi with you so you pick it up as quick as possible.

I had the same problem, recently it's been easier getting up tho. If you want to get up for amritvela then I think 11/1130 like someone else suggested is too late. I try and get into bed for 930/10 . Try and avoid going back to sleep afterwards aswell, if you do this you will be slighty more tired thereby making if easier for you to go to sleep earlier the same night.
