Bhagats family friends say he was an athiest, read a book on bhagat singh and see what he visioned for a future india, im against socialism but i can understand his socialist views cause he believed that once england left india would become a slave to corruption which it did. You also know bhagat never liked religous leaders.
  2. The article was never written by Bhagat Singh...Only political prisoners such as Bhai Randhir Singh ji was given facilities such as books, newspapers and pen and paper...During talks between Gandhi and the British, Gandhi asked for all political prisoners to be released but the government refused to let Bhagat Singh go as they didnt consider him a political prisoner because he was so dangerous to the British Government. Therefore he wasn't allowed any of those facilities...The way they portray Bhagat Singh in films reading books by Karl Marx and on Marxism is wrong aswell...He wouldn't have had access to the books...He did however meet Bhai Randhir Singh ji and decide to take Amrit...This article and numerous others were writen by comrades and arya samajists later using Bhagat Singh's name!! his family and friends say he wrote this letter, his sister who is religous herself claimed that this is what bhagat felt, he wrote many letters and articles in revolutionary papers regarding his choice to be an athiest and reason's behind it. read this book, in it, it talks about interviews with his friends and family the book is well researched to get an understanding of the world bhagat saw and his philosphy and what he wanted and the person he was http://www.amazon.com/Bhagat-Singh-Atheist...3659&sr=1-5 http://www.amazon.com/Shaheed-Bhagat-Singh...3659&sr=1-3 Yes bhagat was given books and paper to write and read, and he had occasionally sent out letters, one of the reasons bhagat went on hunger strike was for prisoner rights which meant clean food, book and newspapers and paper and pens and pencils. 3. [Edited] Ppl claim that bhindranwale went into harmandar sahib to protect it, to that i respond with questions. Question 1. what would congress do if bhindranwale wasn't in harmandar sahib would they still attack. Question 2. what would indira gandhi and congress tell the world to protect their reputation and from being called nazis if they killed inocent sikhs and attacked harmandar sahib for no reason? Question 3. what would congress tell 15-20% of the indian army at that time which consisted of sikhs if they attacked harmandar sahib for no reason and just killed inocent sikhs. Question 4. Why would congress attack harmandar sahib for no reason and kill inocent sikhs for no reason Question 5. and if you read any biography of indira gandhi or listen to what other world leaders have said about her or read why bbc made her a candidate of being the 20th century's greatest women its cause she protected her reputation with fire, she would not let anything hurt her reputation, she wanted a reputation of a strong women who loved her ppl, so tell me if she attacked harmandar sahib and killed inocent sikhs for no reason what would she done to save her reputation??? Question 6. another question some may say if india's govt wasn't going to attack harmandar sahib for no reason then why did they attack 40 other gurdwaras to that i like to ask what 40 gurdwaras? could anyone name me these gurdwaras cause every khalistan website ive bin to claims their were 40 other gurdwaras attacked but won't name them,? and don't tell me what books to read to find info because chances are i have read those books and no were do they talk about the 40 gurdwaras being attacked, and if your going to tell me which book to read if you read them then tell me the names of the gurdwaras and what page i can look at on these books
  4. if not the greatest leaders truly one of the greatest sikh leaders since the gurus time. Was a leader who led the sikhs to having their own homeland and led his ppl to building a sikh empire, revenged the pathans for the crimes they had commited against sikhs and treated everyone in the punjab with respect and equality. Is the sikh community today in desperate need for another leader like maharaja ranjit singh. This time to fight corruption and to guide the community for justice.
  5. a book was released called why i am an athiest based on bhagat singhs life, it interviewed his sister and family and close friends, his family and many of his friends were hardcore sikhs but if you read the book you will see many sikhs critizised his parants when he took up athiesm and he got even more angry and made him more against god, his friends ppl he was in prision with his family members including his sister have all claimed he was an athiest you made a claim somewere else that communists made up the letter why i am an athiest, personally give me evidence that communists did it since your making such a claim, cause his sister and family and friends call the letter legit and say's what he wrote in that letter explains how he felt. i don't know who bhai sahib randhir singh ji was but i rather believe his friends and family, plus some sikhs went on to say that bhagat singh became a sikh again and went on to say that all the sacirfices of the other sikhs for freedom of india is far greater then his, well that makes me laugh cause can anyone name which sikhs he was talking about cause i call this a myth, just like bhai sahib randhir singh ji turned bhagat to god again i call this a myth. Bhagat wrote many letters and articles before he went to prison about athiesm as well. he use to write articles for his party and if people want to know how he felt this is a great book to read why i am an athiest. Respects to bhagat singh and his family who all fought for freedom when so many of our ppl who were leaderless unfortanatly ended up remainiing enslaved lions for britain and did what ever the british told them to do. But bhagat wouldn't consider what india is today a free country, full of corruption and poverty and class and caste system.
  6. Edited - Criticizing Sant Jarnail Singh Ji without any credible shred of evidence is not allowed under any circumstance.
  7. you know why thier's so much media coverage on sikh issues, right now their ppl in bc who arn't liking what their seeing and watching sikhs become british colombia's biggest success story's, 30 years ago surrey and vancouver use to be some of the most racist places in canada, read some of the struggles the first sikhs went through up till 30 years ago, sikhs were considered animals and looked down upon and surrey was extremely redneck skin head mentality city, but look at sikhs today they are the most successfull ppl in all of british colombia in all fields, in buisness the top buisness men in british comumbia are sikhs, in sports some of the most successfull athletes are sikhs in vancouver,(i also have a thread on sikh athletes and notice most the athletes come from vancouver) sikhs dominate in politics that it leaves other community's jealous of falling so far behind, because of this success some of the racists are now feeling insecure like kim bolan of the vancouver sun and will take any oppurtunity to attack sikhs, are community has issues but its funny how the media doesn't notice the good sides of our community and the racism we had to overcome, surrey was the dirtiest city in canada, now look at surrey the areas punjabis live in is probably some of the most beautiful areas in surrey and canada and the areas were the racist rednecks use to live in and still live in look like trailer park trash, pretty much half of surrey which is beautiful is beautiful cause of the sikhs who turned those areas around and built big beautiful homes in those areas and areas taht are poor are were the rest live but you wont' find punjabis living in dirty areas. Right now their is alot of jealousy over sikh success in british comumbia and get ready to feel more heat. Racists like kim bolan will never expose success story's but just the negative we need to fix the negatives also and really piss of these ppl But at the same time the sikh community does have some serous issues like kids joining gangs getting into drugs and dropping out of school, it would be a real shame if we went from being the biggest success story in canada who just got stronger with racism and everyother wall that was put in our way to being the biggest failures in the next 25 years. We do have issues but for what the sikhs have overcome in last 30 years to become most successfull comunity we now really need to come together to handle these challenges.
  8. India has a sikh prime minister and he seems to be doing quite well. so if a sikh can run a country of over 1 billion people, what more proof do you need? peace. u mean the puppet on strings? In my opinion, the man is hopeless. He doesnt really have any power what so ever. I hear you. I can imagine apne wiping out each other if khalistan ever came into existance. he's smart and saved india's economy but thats all he's good for as pm, helping improve india's economy but has no power of his own to do anything else.

  11. ahahaha...dam that was wikid but boxing is nothing compared to muthai boxing and brazilian jiu jitsu...thats the real deal oh i agree without a doubt ive said it a thousand times that muay thai kickboxing and brazilion ji jitsu and include krav maga are the greatest fighting systems their are and far better then any martial arts like kung fu but the reason i saying kickboxing and boxing is for stand up, when your being attacked by a gang of guys you have to know how to stand up fight hence why i said boxing and kickboxing cause brazilion ji jitsu only helps in a one on one fight not when your being attacked by a group of men, cause if you go to the ground your getting stomped its great for take downs but you can't go to the ground so once again sikhs need to learn boxing and kickboxing for stand up fighting if their being attacked by a gang, but i also should say krav maga its used by american army and many other army's and is known to be the best street fighting system in the world.
  12. more sikhs need to get into boxing and kickboxing. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=6iDlzL7zrNU
  13. last question how much influence does obama's pastor have on him???
  14. i think you misunderstood alot of i said, and i never called him corrupt plus his speaches are just words, don't repeat that speach again that he made were he said that words are powerfull cause yes words are extremely powerfull and can change the world, but in obama's case he's just words and show, their is no action behind those words. How is he going to save american's economy once again he's just words, YES WE CAN just words from this leader, their powerfull words if from the right leader tell me whats his economic plan and the postives of it and im going to show you the negatives of his economic plan, he's to socialist secondly tell me has his pastor influenced him in any way including his policy's??? and with evidence i will show you how his pastors belief in black theology has influenced obama and his policy's and obama might not even notice it also obama's speach of a more perfect union yes were just words before he gave that speach and his pastors stuff was blowing up i predicted actually many ppl predicated what he had to say, one he couldn't disown his pastor cause he would be attacked for it cause ppl would say he only disown him for the election, everyone knew he had to bring up racism and how on hilary clinton having no experience hold on your saying she had no influence when bill in white house, could you tell me what impact she had in bosnia even though she exaderated the story of having to duck for cover but she did have a HUGE influence in bosnia also tell me what many whitehouse members and ex whitehouse members said about hilary when it came to nafta, even though she was forced to support it whitehouse insiders said she had the hugest resistance against it also about healthcare coudl you tell me what type of roll hilary played with health care actually could you tell me what makes you think barack obama will bring change also iran wants to make nukes, the UN knows this and the us know this, the whole world knows this, isreal is going to bomb them for sure in next 3 years, what role will he play in that??? iran is a dangerous country especially with its leader trying to make a nuke and saying isreal will be wiped off the face of the planet and him talking about how in this generation the shia prophet will come out when the world is at war ALSO HOW DO BLACKS FACE DISCRIMINATION AND GET HELD BACK, THEE FIRST SIKHS WHO CAME TO AMERICA PROBABLY HAD IT EVEN HARDER AND NOW THEIR FAMILY'S ENJOY EXTREME WEALTH, THESE SIKHS LACKED ENGLISH WORE TURBONS AND HAD FACED ALOT OF DISCRIMINATION YET BECAME SUCCESS STORY'S, SO HOW CAN AFRICAN AMERICANS SAY THEY GET HELD BACK BY DISCRIMINATION??? ALSO SOMETHING TO WATCH http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=YFj1HmNASwE even today sikhs are incredibily successfull in america yet after 9/11 they probably face worste discrimination then african americans so how can anyone say the govt is doing anything wrong to blacks BUT MOST IMPORTANT TO ME IS HIS ECONOMIC PLAN CAUSE THIS IS WHAT WILL MAKE AMERICA GO CRASHING DOWN FURTHER WHICH WILL GET HIM KICKED OUT IN 2012 IF HE'S SERIOUS ABUOT HIS ECONOMIC PLAN, BUT COULD YOU EXPLAIN TO ME OBAMA ECONOMIC PLAN AND THE BENIFITS AND THE NEGATIVES??? Mod note: Your post is being approved because you seem to have spent so much effort arguing your points. But in future could you please not use continuous capital letters as it is the cyber equivalent of shouting and gives the impression that you are easily losing your temper. Thank you.
  15. something disturbing i read odn't know if true http://icbirmingham.icnetwork.co.uk/sunday...-name_page.html Rival gangs unite to fight Oct 30 2005 By Don Malhi WARRING Asian street gangs have settled their differences to unite against black gangs who they blame for the Lozells riots. The alarming revelation comes after reports that Birmingham's notorious black street gangs, the Johnson Crew and Burger Bar Boys, had called a truce to fight their Asian counterparts. According to messages posted on Birmingham-based black music website Supatrax, members from the two gangs had met to 'unite and stand strong not only for the justice of the young girl but also for the black community as a whole'. Now it is being claimed that gangsters from a Handsworthbased Sikh gang have promised support to their bitter rivals, who are Muslims. The two gangs were originally formed in the 1980s to counter the rising influence of the far right and to defend their communities from racist attacks. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT http://' target="_blank"> When the neo-Nazi threat diminished, the gangs continued to exist and turned into opposing crime syndicates and began turning on each other over religious grounds. The Sikh SP (Lion of Punjab) gang accused Muslim gangs like the Aston Panthers, the Lynx and the Redheads, of forcibly converting Sikh girls to Islam. Now gangland sources have told the Sunday Mercury that the bitter rivals have called an uneasy truce to counter intimidation by black gangs. An SP member said: "The problem is that the blacks have lumped all brown people together as Asians whereas there is no such one united community. "Last week, black youths were going round Sikh areas of Handsworth attacking their homes and shops, even though Sikhs had nothing to do with the riots in Lozells. "Sikhs have been forced into this conflict now and we really have no choice but to side with the Muslim community on this issue." Meanwhile, further details of the violence and mayhem in Lozells last week have begun to emerge. It is understood that the police officer who was shot in the leg had, in fact, been shot with a .22 calibre bullet and not a ballbearing as police had originally claimed. A police source said five spent cartridges had been discovered at the scene and were being forensically examined. Another officer narrowly avoided death when youths fired shots at him from a 9mm handgun and a bullet was later found embedded in a wall beside him. It has also been suggested that teenager Aaron James, who was shot dead in Newtown last week, was accidentally killed when he tripped over. A police source said: "A group of black youths were firing guns over their shoulders as they ran away. "It seems like the dead youth tripped over and may have accidentally been shot by an accomplice - or perhaps ended up shooting himself in the head and arm." The incident is currently being investigated by the region's Independent Police Complaints Commissioner, Amerdeep Sohal. Police last night also confirmed that they had arrested two more people in connection with the fatal stabbing of city council worker Isiah Young-sam. Mr Young-Sam, 23, was stabbed in the chest in Carlyle Road, Lozells, last Saturday as he walked home with his younger brother and two friends. On Thursday, two men, aged 22 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of murder, and a third man, aged in his early 20s, was detained on Friday by officers investigating the killing. The Sunday Mercury understands all five men are Asian, although police have refused to confirm or deny their ethnic origin. Detective Superintendent John Jones said: "Evidence has come forward to suggest up to 12 men were involved and we do anticipate further arrests." Last week's troubles have served to create a feeling of suspicion and distrust between the city's black and Asian communities. There had already been isolated incidents of blacks attacking Asians and vice versa. In 2001 we reported how Handsworth man Leroy Smith, 34, was left for dead outside a local nightclub when a gang of Asian men attacked him after shouting racist abuse. The black father-of-three said at the time: "Handsworth is getting worse for this kind of thing. It is a timebomb waiting to go off." Perry Barr MP Khalid Mahmood said rumours were continuing to inflame the situation. "The credibility of the rape story which sparked the troubles is diminishing day by day and there has to come a point where enough is enough." He added: "Police have already said there is no evidence that an attack ever took place, let alone having enough to secure a conviction. "Yet there seems to have been enough evidence for people to begin a riot over the whole matter. "Mr Mahmood also accused Asian and black drug gangs that operate in the area of using the unrest to settle their own scores. A gangland source added: "The Asian gangs are increasingly taking over the drugs and prostitution trade from the black gangs. This has caused a lot of friction. "They have worked together in the past but they are now both trying to establish their dominance in the market and are stepping on each others' toes in the process. "The irony is that the Asian gangsters go on as if they were black. They dress like black men, listen to the same music and even chat in patois [Jamaican slang]." Two years ago, West Midlands Police Assistant Chief Constable Nick Tofiluk warned of ' interethnic' conflict between black and Asian gangsters. Giving evidence to a Parliamentary committee on gun crime in 2003 he said: "Asian networks exist that possess firearms and are involved in the supply of illicit drugs both to the Afro-Caribbean networks and in competition with existing networks. "The often chaotic nature of drug markets and supply chains means that the potential for inter-ethnic criminal disputes relating to issues of 'disrespect' and securing access to drugs markets is increasing." Some black residents in Lozells last week claimed they had been verbally abused by Asian youths and complained of receiving leaflets from Islamic extremists who labelled them 'infidels'. Rumours have also been awash of Asian gangs preparing to cause trouble in Birmingham next Friday during the traditional Muslim Eid celebrations. The holy day, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, is usually celebrated in Birmingham when hundreds of Muslim youths take to the streets, waving green Pakistani flags. 17. By Dipankar De Sarkar London, March 30 (IANS) Sikh and Muslim leaders in Britain are to be taken to Northern Ireland - a province that is just emerging from decades of sectarian violence - to help ease religious tensions said to be rooted in events surrounding India’s independence. Faith Matters, a charity run by Fiyaz Mughal, a Liberal Democrat councillor in east London, has been given 30,000 pounds by the Department of Communities and Local Government in order to address simmering Sikh-Muslim tensions, according to media reports.“No work has really been done between Sikhs and Muslims. The tensions have a religious and national base. The gripes and frictions are not on a large scale, but gangs continue to be (formed) along ethnic lines,” said Mughal. “Faith plays a role in the tensions, along with drugs, turf (wars), young people not having opportunities, talk of forced conversion and (resentment) about resources and cash given to the Muslim community. We want to debunk some of these myths,” Mughal told a community newspaper in London. About 30 Sikh and Muslim community leaders from Derby, Manchester, Nottingham, and the London areas of Slough and Hayes will travel to Corrymeela, a conflict resolution centre in Northern Ireland, in October. They will be selected by project coordinators who will also research local issues and produce a handbook on resolving the conflict, the Eastern Eye newspaper reported. The Corrymeela Community, based in Ballycastle on the north coast of Northern Ireland, describes itself as a Christian peace-building centre that aims to provide “a place where young people and others from a divided society can meet and get to know each other, as a first step to healing divisions and as a stepping stone towards reconciliation”. The community was founded in 1965 by Ray Davey, a Presbyterian pastor and former World War II prisoner of war, who was captured in North Africa by German troops and taken to Dresden where he witnessed the Allied bombing of Germany. The centre says it was one of the most important peace organisations during the decades of sectarian violence between Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland - a strife that was both political and religious. What it can do for Muslims and Sikhs remains to be seen. According to the last census taken in 2001, Islam - with more than 1.58 million followers - is the second largest religion in Britain after Christianity, whereas Sikhs numbered just over 336,000. A minority of Muslims and Sikhs are said to have clashed during the religious violence that accompanied the birth of India in 1947. Although such tensions are rare in modern-day India, there have been sporadic media reports about British Muslim men forcing Sikh girls to convert to Islam and Sikh gangs intimidating Muslim teens. The west London suburb of Slough became a flashpoint for tensions in 1996-97, with violence flaring up between Sikh and Muslim gangs. Following national media attention, a peace group called Aik Saath was set up. According to the group’s website, it continues to work on conflict resolution and trains up to 1,000 young Asians every year. However, in 2004, a 16-year-old Muslim boy was wounded at a Baisakhi mela by a Sikh wielding a ceremonial sword in the town of Walsall in the west Midlands region. Two Sikh students in a Walsall college were attacked in what was believed to have been an act of reprisal. There were media reports of attempted aggressive religious conversions in February and March 2007. http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/uncate...n_10032721.html its pretty cool good chance for the community's to let eachother know what's pissing them off and have a better understanding of eachother and to deal with issues.

Bill clinton was a pretty kick <admin-profanity filter activated> president, as well are you a hockey fan, with america in recession and their dollar dropping and fuel prices going up and terrorism why would you throw in a rookie and not someone who has experience, In the nhl if your in the stanley cup finals and your goalie gets injured would you throw in a veteran goalie whose played in the finals before or would you throw in a rookie with no experience, or football starting qb is injured would you throw in a rookie for the superbowl or someone whose already played in the superbowl and won, and i would consider bill clinton and hilary clinton winners cause they did alot of good for america. How will obama do a better job and how will he bring change?
