VJKK VJKF A friend of mine who is an amrtidhari was recently burgled. On Sunday night there were loud banging on a wall upstairs which lasted a few moments and then stopped. Initially he thought it was the same people who burgled him and he called the police. The police checked the whole house as well as outside but could not find anything. A short time later the banging happened again and the police called again who checked the loft as well but again could not find anything. For the next three days the loud banging has continued and he is convinced it is a pooth/ghost or some form of spirit who is stuck in the house. Other people also believe it is to do with the bad spirit the burglars brought in. He has done paath and puts on kirtan loud in the house but the banging noise has continued every night since Sunday on the same wall. For some reason it only happens at night. Could someone please advise what paath they can do to get rid of this spirit/ghost. VJKK VJKF

New Delhi, Mar.2 (ANI): A US Court has issued summons to the Congress party in India to answer charges of 'conspiring, aiding, abetting and carrying out organized attacks on the Sikh population in November 1984. The US court acted on the case filled by the "Sikhs For Justice" (SFJ) a US based human rights group. Informing from USA, the SFJ's legal advisor, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, told ANI that the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York had issued summons against Congress (I) for conspiring, aiding, abetting and carrying out organized attacks on Sikh population of India in November 1984. The summons against Congress have been issued pursuant to a class action lawsuit filed (SFJ v. Congress (I) SDNY (10 CV 2940)) under Alien Tort Claims Act (ATCA) and Torture Victim Protection Act (TVPA). Terming the court action as a big achievement of SFJ, Pannun informed that according to the Government of India's record a total of 3296 Sikhs were killed and several others were injured during the Sikh Genocide in 1984 in through out the India. According to the US court summons congress (I) party and Kamal Nath has to answer with the court within 21 days and if they fail to respond, judgments by default will be entered against congress (I) party for the relief demanded in the complaint. Amrik Singh, 49, of Oldham Street, Manchester, admitted four breaches between June and December 2007 at an earlier hearing. He was given a two-year community order to run alongside his current order. Singh, who runs Chase Music Shop on Oldham Street, Manchester, was originally sentenced to a three-year community punishment order in February 2007 for indecently assaulting a 16-year-old girl he employed. The Sex Offences Prevention Order stated that Singh was not allowed to employ women under the age of 18. The court heard, however, that Singh employed four girls aged 16 and 17 at his shop, and went on to harass them. His victims said Singh would invite them to his flat above the shop after work, some of whom he offered money to keep him 'company'. They felt uncomfortable when alone with him and concerned for their safety. Detectives from Greater Manchester Police's Sex Offender Management Unit are urging any other victims who may have had similar experiences with Singh to come forward. There has been a huge blaze at Gurdwara Sri Gur Har Krishan Sahib in Manchester. As most of you know this gurdwara holds an annual smagam in December each year in which keertanis around the world attend. I heard that the Akal Thakhat relased a hukum stopping interfaith marriages in gurdwaras. Is this true?

I have always been confused as to what sikhi teaches us about what is and what isnt written for each person. I know that birth, death and marriage are all written before we are even born but is there anything else in out lives which has already pre-destined to happen and for which we do not have control over? For example jobs, how much money we will have in this life etc. Is it already written how much naam simran/bani we will do in this life or do we control this? For someone who commits suicide-is that also written to happen? Would appreciate anyone who could share their knowledge on this Fathe

Im not sure how he passed away. I tried lukin on the web but no luck. Anyone else know?
