yes, spirits are part of chawrasi lakh joona. Some peeps like me think its a wicked thing being a ghost or spirit, coz we get to go around haunting people and stuff
but its not all it seems.....coz infact ghosts cant eat when they are hungry, so they are always hungry, they cant relieve themselves. There is no pleasure in being a ghost or spirit.

I think its ok to wear the kirpan before you are amritdhari, because you have the other 4 kakkars on, so why not the kirpan?, and there is nothing special that you need to do to wear it, I think?
