  3. WJKK WJKF, Hope your all good. I wanted to share a problem of mine which is frustrating me. Im happy with my body apart from my arms and shoulders. The main problem is that they have become quite thin , causing me to feel weak and anorexic. In addition to this, i am also having trouble getting rid of my stomach fat. I need urgent advice on how to add muscle/fat to my arms and shoulders. I am currently undertaking Boxing and MMA lessons and need to know what exercises/cardio workouts i can do to get mass on my arms and shoulders. I am unable to use the gym aswell due to financial difficulties as i am already paying for boxing and mma. Thanks
  4. Whilst reading paath during Amritvela off my ipod, i always tend to lose concentration when reading or speaking paath. My mind tends to wander off into things currently happening in my life. Is there any way of preventing this?
  5. I was wondering which Universities in the UK have the highest proportions of Sikhs studying there?
  6. WJKK WJKF! I am speaking on behalf of SYGM - which is the Sikh Youth Group Movement. As the Summer is approaching, we are appealing for any Sikh Rapper/Singer/Producer or any other person with a desire to help raise awareness to the Sikh Youth by emailing us at sygm@hotmail.co.uk We are starting projects on sikh youth issues and we need these artists immediately to get started on them! SYGM is a new forefront movement created by the youth for the youth. With increasing situations and problems amassing the Sikh community, we feel it is necessary to help channel these problems through the use of the youth’s interests. Nowadays our Sikh youth are very much alive in the world of technology; things such as Facebook, YouTube, and Music etc. have helped raise awareness to a wider audience. We as a movement aim to bring all of these types of media together and create a united movement which will bring more of the Sikh youth into Sikhi and help them realise and discover what Sikhism is truly about. We aim to achieve this through the means of Information and Media. On one side of the spectrum we will have members creating information on topical issues within the Sikh community. Presentations, word documents, videos and other types of publishing material will be used to create awareness and spread the message of Sikhi on a wider basis. On the other side of the spectrum we will be launching “SYGM Music” This is a new venture in which we will seek to use Sikh artists to promote Sikhi onto a new level, hopefully heading towards Mainstream and giving Sikh Rappers ,Singers, Producers and other fields a chance to be recognized. All of our music will be about Sikhi itself and issues that we as a community face. The movement is a non-profit movement. We are not here to make money, we are here to spread Sikhi and help the youth with problems they may face. As the movement progresses we will try our best to keep the trend going such as personalised clothing and accessories. - Producing - Rapping - Singing - Graphic Design - Video Filming - Sikh Literature i.e. Projects, Essays etc. - Martial Arts - Anything else which you can bring to SYGM If you require any more information, feel free to contact the SGYM Admin & Organization Team on the following: Email – SYGM@hotmail.co.uk http://www.youtube.com/user/TheSYGM?feature=mhee https://www.facebook.com/SikhYouthGroupMovement/info www.twitter.com/SYGM1
  7. Thing is i want to study Politics, International Relations and Politics or any other type of course related to politics. I'm not interested in studying economics or law. Ive already emailed my local councilors and haven't received a response from them for over a month now. What should i do?
  8. In England i am also studying history, rs, and english. What would be the best option for me to do say during the summer holidays?
  9. For university i plan on studying politics and afterwards i plane on getting myself into Government. The thing im struggling with at the moment is what political party i should join. I want to join a party that will help benefit the progression of the Sikh faith within this country. I want to represent Sikhs in parliament and be the voice when situations like Rajoana occur. The reason being is that i feel that if we had someone like that in parliament, action could be taken much quicker and resolutions made much faster, Could you help me by giving me an insight on what political party is suited best? Also what kind of work experience/placement i could do involving politics? Thanks for your time
