You cant "pray" for good grades. You can pray for the strength to do the best you can. I tell people this all the time, live in the now, every second counts and when your more focused on other things other than your true actions then you are like a puppet and cant even control it. Make sure you dont get ahead of yourself. If each action is lazy then the domino effect of bad action will be the result. Grades reflect your quality of problem solving.

Accept your karma as God gives you what you deserve. Have more faith in God and youll understand you are given and taken. (simple concept) Ive had the toughest time for a few years and now Ive been given everything I could only have dreamed for (and if its all taken then I will accept it too)

Kewl analogies. i look at it like people try to hold a gun by its barrel(which will burn your hand and cause you to drop the weapon) and after the first shot it gets hot and after many shots it is very hot(hard to hold a gun by its hot barrel), and others shoot so many times the barrel warps because it got too hot and ended up making the gun malfunction. When you study a way to handle the gun youll find out youre not supposed to hold the barrel and after certain amounts of using the gun youll need to assess the gun and clean it (meaning youll need to think about the bani and understand it and follow it) Some people try to question the order of morning bania and seem to be off track just for the aspect of trying to question the order(IMO) I always noticed that we do a Guru Shabad Bani and then 3 Dasam Bania and then to seal off the morning Paat with Anandu Sahib. People should better understand the required Bania before trying to read so much other bani (besides Hukamnamas or baha maaj etc) People try to eat more than they can digest and end up ill after soo much intake.

Some people dont have a relationship with Guru Granth Sahib so they miss out on the understanding they should have and some end up being radhosuami because they think they need "some guy' to teach them things they can read for themselves.You dont need a human teacher, you "can' have one but you dont need anybody other than Guru Sahib. Learning in a santhiya class or Panjabi school is good to start with but after a while you should have a drive to learn by study/Paat. Guru Sahib isnt a part of Abrahamic religious concepts, we dont have a "book of revelation" in our concepts of creation, God is not jealous or wrathfull and doesnt have a "son" so I would suggest not combining Abrahamic religious theories with Sikhi or youll be mixed up more than a strawberry banana smoothie

I dont mind bias opinions :lol: As a musician you have to get used to haters for the fact of hating for strange reasons. i.e I used to love this band one60 when I was a kid and about 10 years ago a band I was playing in opened for them, turned out we ripped them up and they started hating on me(and I really used to like their music) SO I was suprized that a band I looked up to was a bunch a jealous haters. I learned Sikhi for a few months before I bought a cd by Harbans Singh "Sach Khand Vasay Nirankar" and I remeber a weird feeling which clicked me into a different mode, after that I lost all my friends, was fired for not cutting my hair and my parents shunned me and I was more happy than before losing everything SO ChardiKala plays a huge role in your Sikhi enthusiasm. I was a Sikh before I even had Darshan of Guru Sahib. I didnt even know what Matha Tek even was. When people ask me why/how I became a Sikh I say "GurPrasad" :D

If your parents are iidiots then whats the use of listening to them, if the case was only listen to what they say and their wishes then I wouldnt be allowed to be a Sikh. The thing is people like to talk about this glorious thing that will happen once the community actually start being a Sikh but in reality the people that hold camps arent even doing as they are trying to "wake" the community up for. They should be Amritdhari in order to teach Sikhi, because they are doing as they are sharing with youths, and those who dont follow Gurmat should sit at the camps and take notes and not teach what they dont do themselves. I met a guy today that basically converts <banned word filter activated> Sikhs that take hand outs from christians. They want an easy way out of being a Sikh, SIkhi to them is a punishment and they need something easy to "make it to heaven", after the guy talked to me for about 20mins he figured out there is no way in hell he could convert me. To them SIkhi is something that can be downloaded or bought at walmart. Sikhi must be earned and developed.
