Is this to make it easier for people that read larivaar birs etc/???? (I need a santhiya teacher ) I see many different people reading differently some speak invisible letters some make other sounds etc

video tape it and then there is no excuse for any liars that will say they werent doing the beeaadbi. while Akhand Paat was recited the Granthi wasnt even reciting and I didnt even know their was an Akhand Paat (the room was dark and I didnt hear one sound I thought I was the only one in the main Darbar Sahib) and I started playing kirtan by myself and then after a couple mins a Babaji came and shut the doors to the Akhand Paat room because I was playing kinda loud but after I stopped I went to do chaur seva in the main hall and the Granthi that was done with his 2 hours walked out and a new Granthi was actually reciting the Akhand Paat. I was like "oooppps" but then thought "he wasnt even reciting" so I didnt feel so bad cause I was in the main hall for almost 1 hour by myself and didnt hear a sound from the Akhand Paat room etc........ Then later that day I went in to the Akhand Paat room to listen to Paat and he was still reading while a fly was on Guru Sahibs Ang so I started doing Chaur Seva because he didnt care (and thats one main thing the Chaur is for etc) and after I started doing Chaur seva the paathi stopped reciting and just read to himself, and after that was paying attention to me and lost his spot for at least 10 seconds a few times...... OMG doing Akhand Paats now ah daze is a waste of paying moorukh Granthis to do their job. If you want an Akhand Paat better do it yourself cause you cant really trust anyone to do their job as Granthis. Its sad to say this because there are those Granthis who I love to hear them sing the Paat (I dont know his name but 1 was the old Granthi at Bradshaw Gurdwara maybe now Granthi at Antelope Gurdwara, and another was the old Granthi at West Sac Gurdwara 3 years ago) They sang the hukamnamas in Raag, and it always sounded awesome and I felt it every time. I almost think sometimes some Granthis estimate where they should be in the lapsed time and skip up to that spot at the weeee hours of the night etc........... Sad............ :sad:

watch this while hearing the naad but when off track read the english (Reharaas) same thing but with JAPJIthen just find the other ones you want. like SUkhmani Sahib Paat is good to watch and listen etc.... or watch a video that shows alot of kurbani before you do paat and it will inspire you to love to do your paats etc................ that "Amar Khalsa" video is a good way to know why we are fortunate to even have paat still here today......

A veer Sahib did one yesterday at a youth group thing, and it was kewl. get a roll of toilet paper and have them tear off as much as they want(they are responsible for every bit they tear off) and once everyone is done tearing sheets they have to share as many facts about themselves that they tore off the roll. :D I just grabbed it and tore off ten sheets and was like omg, I had the most everyone else tore off 1-5 sheets I thought it was neat and had fun listening to the facts about everyone, you get a sense about all the people in the group when you hear the stuff you never knew about them etc..........

SO if you walk 20feet away from the Gurdwara you are saying its "not so bad"? or "ok"?????????????? :6

We shouldnt have to "hawkeye" our kids at the Gurdwara in order to detour this from happening. WE need a committee that goes around to random Gurdwarey that collect gholek money and have a nishan Sahib and if they are reported by them of beadbi then the person/people incharge need to be blacklisted and suspended until their tankhiya is made up for and have three boards 1) recognising/reporting beeaadbi 2) dealing with the black list 3) checking how well the punishment implemented affected the problem.... after all that said and dont and it happens further then excommunication and they be listed as a beeaadbi of Sikhi to allow them in your system etc.....

Pesh people pesh because they feel they have broken their bond with Guru Sahib (I dont think there is nothing wrong with it to pesh if needed) but if you lie to Guru Sahib or take Amrit like if you are going to break it again then you arent clever and God will know you as a liar.

I was going to say go to youtube (rajkaregakhalsa) and type in japji/jaap Sahib/ etc... and watch the english while you hear the Gurmukhi recitations you can even read the Gurmukhi if learning to read Gurmukhi or as bhai Sahib wrote get a gutka with translations in it. Going to india is like way better than that so youre fortunate(I dont believe in luck) to do that so Im jealous :lol: Youre on a good track just stick to it without compromising your Sikhi to manmukhs way of life.

Gurbani says only the "rare" bunch understands and follows Guru Sahib, and the rest will all weep and wail at the end when they beg to be religious to not be thrown back into the cycle of transmigration. Sikhi is for the True people not the "majority of people" even if religiously schooled doesnt mean they will "do" what they should.

Ive been seeing fake "Sikhs"(cause they have the last name Singh) broadcast in the news for years. Nothing new to me that the media wants to make Sikhs look bad. Singh should not be a born name (in my opinion) I know of many people with the last name "Singh" that are far from religious and I also know a guy with the last name "Singh" that is a drug addict bad tempered christian that extorts money from his own mother (his mom told me not to do anything cause she will feel "bad" if I do anything about him hurting her, so I have to respect her wishes instead of tossing the supposed "singh" in the trash I can only ignore his extortion of money for his drugs)

Singh# I think you need to learn more before you take Amrit, there are a lot of concepts of Khalsa that I dont think you know yet as you ask questions that are too simple to need being asked if you are really following Sikhi. 1)yes you must wash your kaysh every morning (you take a shower by wrapping your Kirpan around your turban, when you wash your hair you tie your keski around your waste and put your kangha in your keski) 2)No sicializing with people that are opposite of what you should be as they will influence you into bad habits or ridicule you beyond your beliefs etc. (my brother in law is a drunk that smokes and I dont even socialize with him because he only slurs blah blahs and or talks nasty words) 3)Amritvela is around 2am to about 5am (Naam japna and pannj bania are important in this time after you have taken full isnaan not the "fool Isnhanaan by not washing your hair etc" 4)Go to sleep(after Sohila paat) what ever time that you can get up at Amritvela Sahib. Then there are aspects of joot, ardas, kakars, rehat etc that I dont think you are familiar enough with if you are asking the 4 questions you did. Im not discouraging you to not Amrit Chauk, I am encouraging you to learn the basic qualities and understanding a Sikh must have before chauking Amrit.

When I got married I asked my non sikh christian family not to matha tek because I knew they would feel very uncomfortable and for them to be respectful was for them to not matha tek as this is not what they are supposed to do. I wanted them to feel comfortable and by fake bowing was not considered "respect". Ask anyone as veerJi said to take AMrit for respect etc and they will not. Asking them to wear a turban(in Darbar Sahib) in order to show respect is not correct/proper, it is different for them to wear rumalla and take off shoes though.
