  1. Rampal’s Army The Rashtriya Samaj Sewa Samiti (RSSS) is the name of the army made by Rampal, in which men are armed with pistols and rifles. The 4,000 RSSS members guard Satlok Ashram 24×7 and are monitoring the situation from the ‘war room’ inside the Ashram. The RSSS men also have walkie-talkies. The RSSS intelligence wing also monitors police movement in Hisar. It’s not just that he formed an army of his own, but his men also attacked the local cops when they came to arrest Rampal following the High Court order. It is very clear that Rampal’s army stopped the police from executing the court’s order. Can you have your own ‘army’ in the country? But the serious question that arises out of this is: How can one have a force inside the country? Isn’t it against the Constitution? It also raises question over the last Haryana government of Bhupinder Singh Hooda: Why didn’t his government take action against Rampal? Why did the then government allow him to form his own army? Surely, Rampal has created his own state within a state where he is ruling by using his force. Attacking cops and disrespecting the court’s orders is the clear act of sedition. The need of the hour is that police must take strong action against Rampal and arrest him. The current government of Manohar Lal Khattar should wake up. http://us.india.com/news/india/sant-rampal-godman-or-fraudman-how-can-one-have-his-own-army-in-the-country-197647/

  6. Cases against Haryana godman Rampal NEW DELHI: Thousands of supporters of controversial sect leader Rampal staged a protest here and demanded a CBI probe into allegations of his involvement in a murder conspiracy. Born to a family of farmers in Sonepat district, Rampal claims to be an incarnation of the 15th century mystic poet Kabir. Following are the cases against HaryanagodmanRampal. Murder The Rohtak district administration had sealed Satlok Ashram at Karontha village after clashes between Rampal disciples and Arya Samaj followers in July 2006 in which a youth was killed and 59 injured. Later, police booked Rampal and several of his disciples under Section 302 (murder) and arrested him. Rampal got bail after spending 22 months in jail and shifted his base to Barwala town in Hisar district. Forgery Another FIR was registered against Rampal and his followers for forgery when a complaint was filed against him a day after the clash with Arya Samajis in 2006. It was alleged that Satlok Ashram at Karontha village was built on a piece of land obtained through forgery. According to a Haryana police report submitted before the sessions court in Rohtak, the land "donated" to build the ashram was "gifted" by a woman, Krishna, who impersonated the real owner Kamla in 1999. Three acres out of the over 16 acre land of the ashram belonged to four members of Kamla's family, including her brother Rajender Singh. Kamla's share was less than one acre. On its part, the ashram ridiculed all these charges in its website. Assault An FIR was registered against seven supporters of Rampal, including a woman, on May 5, 2013. Anil Kumar, a resident of Atawala village in Panipat district, complained to the police that the preacher's followers thrashed him at the Ashram. "They wanted me to give in writing that I am a spy of AryaSamaj. They also prepared my video recording forcing me to give statements against AryaSamaj leader," Anil said in the FIR. Criminal intimidation Another FIR was registered on May 9, 2013 against the followers of Rampal for issuing threats to Arya Samajis. According to the complaint filed by secretary of Haryana Gaushala Sangh Achayra Sarv Mitar, the followers of Rampal telephoned the office-bearers of Arya Samaj and threatened them. Arya Samaj activist's murder Three people, including a woman, were killed and around 100 injured in police firing on activists of Arya Samaj who were protesting against handing over the possession of an ashram to Rampal in Karontha village on May 12, 2013. A day after this, a murder case was registered against Rampal for allegedly killing an Arya Samaj activist Promila Devi. According to the FIR, Promila was hit by a bullet fired from the ashram when she was returning home from the farm fields. He brother Satnarayan alleged that she was shot on the instructions of Rampal. Ashram suspects Arya Samaj hand Satlok Ashram spokesperson Raj Kapoor alleged that Arya Samajis were behind all complaints lodged against Rampal and his followers. "We don't know how many complaints have been filed against Rampal and his followers but there is no truth in it," he said. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Cases-against-Haryana-godman-Rampal/articleshow/45192010.cms
  7. The fact that a nation of lions who used to rescue girls of other weak communities back in the "GOLDEN" days was not able to secure its own as recently as 1947 and 1984, and that the same nation which didn't hesitate to behead those committing sacrilege but today chooses to weep on international media cameras after getting attacked by a bunch of thugs is a testimony to what exactly we have forgotten. SHASTARS!!!!!
  8. AMRITSAR: A member of the Sikh clergy handing over his ceremonial sword to South Carolina governor Nikki Haleys husband here upset a number of people at the Golden Temple here on Saturday. Granthi of the Golden Temple, Giani Jaswinder Singh, handed over his siri sahib to Michael Hayley during the couples visit at the temple. Many said this was against maryada or Sikh religious law. The granthi handed over the sword after the couple touched his feet to ask for his blessings. The sword was given after manager of the Golden Temple Partap Singh, Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) members Manjit Singh and Rajinder Singh Mehta had already honoured the Haleys. Jathedar of Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh said, You should ask him why he honoured Haleys husband with his siri sahib which he had held in his capacity of granthi of Golden Temple. It is wrong and violation of maryada. Head granthi of the Golden Temple, Giani Jagtar Singh said, It would have been better had he given some other sword to Haley instead the one which is given to a granthi as an honour. He said he would raise the issue with SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar so he could give a message to all. Giani Jaswinder Singh handed over his siri sahib to the couple during their visit to the Golden Temple. Senior professor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Balwant Singh said a granthi carry a ceremonial sword which becomes part of their dress code. He said there was no need to honour anyone in an individual capacity especially when Michael had already been honoured by SGPC. He added that he should have avoided honouring Michael with his ceremonial sword. If at all he wanted to honour him, he could have given him some other sword and not the one held by him, the scholar said. Despite repeated attempts Giani Jaswinder Singh couldnt be contacted. Source Times of India http://dailysikhupdates.com/maryada-broken-granthi-gives-kirpan-nikky-haley-husband/ Fair enough, this was an absolutely wrong thing to do. Not sure why no one was mad when Salman Khan was cheered as he took his top off to do ishnaan at the sarovar.
  9. The sangat sitting in front of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Amritsar was inspired to take Amrit after watching film Chaar Sahibzaade. The sangat became very emotional and decided to become part of the Khalsa Panth. Similar stories of people getting back to Sikhi are happening all over the world and the film Chaar Sahibzaade is having a big impact on the lives of people. We encourage everyone to not miss this opportunity.
  10. Hanji, his name is Javed Iqbal and he was in the Muslim League in 1947.
  11. Watch at 1:43, I just spent half an hour finding it
  12. That is not our style bro. A Sikh never kills innocents no matter how badly we're hit. That is the legacy we are so proud of. However I do understand what you're saying. Back then, just as today, we were always a minority. In fact if you see the Punjabi speaking population of India and Pakistan combined, the largest substantial majority would be the Muslims of West Punjab. This was true back then as well as today, if I am not wrong.
  13. Hang on I think I mixed up. That one is Mandir Mata Lal Devi In Amritsar.
  14. By the way I will tell you something even funnier. I had visited Durgiana Mandir just once in 1999 when I was still not a Sikh and was cleanshaven back in the days before taking Amrit. Its not just a copy of Sri Darbar Sahib but the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu as well. They have fake caves and water inside to give the feeling of the real Vaishno Devi temple which is all the way up in the mountains.
  15. Sikh delegates from Jamshedpur in front of Bharatiya Yuvak Sanghs pandal in Ranchi on Sunday. (Prashant Mitra) Plea changes pandal theme Monday , September 15 , 2014 Amritsars 106-year-old Durgiana Mandir will replace the famous Golden Temple as the theme of the Durga Puja pandal at Bakri Bazar in Upper Bazar area of Ranchi. Organisers Bharatiya Yuvak Sangh on Sunday agreed to make the needed modifications as a gesture after a Sikh delegation from Jamshedpur visited the capital to point out to them that they did not like the idea of placing a Durga idol inside the Golden Temple. Twelve members of Dharm Prachar Committee came down to Ranchi to meet the organisers. We came to know that a replica of the Golden Temple is coming up as the pandal for Bharatiya Yuvak Sangh through Facebook. Since no idol is kept inside the Golden Temple, we pointed out to them that our religious sentiments would be hurt if they place an idol inside the Golden Temple replica and requested them to change the pandal theme, said Harpal Singh, president of Dharm Prachar Committee, Jamshedpur. They also asked the organisers to curb smoking on the pandal premises. Smoking is strictly prohibited at golden Temple, said Singh. The organisers also readily agreed. We had decided to create a replica of the Golden Temple to spread the message of the triumph of good over evil. We never wanted to hurt the feelings of any community, said Basant Kumar, director of the Sangh. The Durgiana Mandir is only a smaller version of the Golden Temple. Since it is just like the Golden Temple, we will not face any major problem by this sudden change of plans, he added. Regarding the smoking issue, Kumar said that though they also do not support it, it was beyond their control. http://www.telegraphindia.com/1140915/jsp/jharkhand/story_18835050.jsp#.VGUs8PnF-mA
  16. Tourism in Jharkhand? Seriously? Jharkhand is right in the middle of the Naxal belt, and these Naxals are the deadliest opponents India has ever seen. These guys never kill less than 100 cops/soldiers each time they attack. So I'd say we can rule out tourism? Its just another way to tell Sikhs "we can make a golden temple like you". Question is, how will they compare theirs to Sri Darbar Sahib? 24 hour langar non-stop round the clock? Soul-stirring keertan? A history of countless Shaheeds? Where will they get all this from? They are just trying to piss Sikhs off. The best analogy that came to my mind is this...
  17. You know I was once watching a BBC documentary they telecasted a few years ago in mid August when both India and Pakistan surprisingly celebrate the massacre of their very own people. I forgot who it was, but they quoted an opinion by one of the British officers, his view about Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. Now these guys had ruled for 200 years and had interacted heavily with practically every community, so they had an opinion, a viewpoint about each one. The Hindus were seen as those who could see a storm coming from a distance, make preparations, and are able to secure almost everything just in the nick of time. The Muslims were seen as those who could see the storm when its right above their head, they try their best and secure the most important things as quickly as possible. You want to know know what they said about the Sikhs? The Sikhs were seen as people who would realize that a storm had struck only AFTER te storm had passed away after devastating everything. Its upto us to change not only this opinion, but our mindsets too. And correct me if these words were from a British officer or an Indian/Pakistani, because I vaguely remember an Indian/Pakistani quoting a British officer's opinion.
  18. The more I read, the more desperate I get to watch it. Any idea about DVDs coming out in USA or even in India?
  19. Meanwhile.... Damdama Sahib Jathedar Issues Warning to RSS While Addressing Nagar Kirtan http://www.sikh24.com/2014/11/13/damdama-sahib-jathedar-issues-warning-to-rss-while-addressing-nagar-kirtan/#.VGT43PnF-mA
  20. nah nah, you'd be among the last people I'd ever swear at, relax :D
  21. This is a slap on our face, and an open challenge. Sikhs abroad launched movements such as "Ban the RSS", and what not to prevent these guys coming to the West. Now look how they responded, they are aiming to open 800 plus branches just in Punjab, the homeland of the same Sikhs who didn't let them travel outside. Question is, how do we now respond? Our love for our parcharaks is evident from the other thread about Gyani Thakur Singh ji. Our love for each other is very much evident from the Bhatra thread. We are ourselves providing fodder to these snakes to prosper on the holy land of the Gurus. We are the ones exposing our weaknesses and giving them a chance to formulate new strategies on HOW to attack us, WHEN to attack, WHERE to attack, and through whom to attack. And I can guarantee you guys, no wait, not guarantee, I can promise you guys, tomorrow when a group of Sikhs do take this threat seriously and get ready to face these guys head on, we will have enough Sikhs (no no, not Hindus, not RSS) who will make sure to damage those Sikhs in anyways possible. Why? Because thats who we have become! We are damn crabs! Anyone who goes up or wants to go up, we HAVE TO pull them down! And then we whine and blame the RSS for all the $h!t we have to face. Wake up people! A snake is a snake is a snake! You walk into a garden barefoot without a stick and get bitten by a snake, you would look like a jackass if you told the world "see the snake bit me, boohoo"! YOU would be the one laughed at for not taking the necessary precaution! The RSS is a snake, we know bloody well its a snake, but we, for whatever reason refuse to take precaution. Ah but we are best at ridiculing anyone who does. I am seriously done with the constant blame game when its our own people, leaders (sshhhh Jathedars) who are their buddies. 3 generations later our kids will ask us "Daada jee, why did the Sikhs suffer so much?"..."son, we are clean hearted naive bholey people, we trusted Nehru and got backstabbed, we trusted Badals and got backstabbed when he invited RSS to Punjab, we trusted the Jathedaars and got our a$$es kicked, you see, we are so nice, we got cheated every time"..."no daada jee, you guys were a bunch of retarded morons who didn't learn their lesson after repeated a$$-kicking, and its because of you that even in 2084 people still confuse us as Hindus or Muslims, you should be ashamed daada ji!" These will be the last words we will hear on our death beds if we don't take some effing action before our beards turn milk white.
