  1. Gurbani is Eternal. The Guru is Eternal. Paapi's have burnt Maharaj's saroop in the past. Paapi's have placed their feet on Guru Jee to try and say they are above Gurbani. But has Guru Jee died? Did they manage to wipe out Sikhi? Could Guru Jee ever die? Answer is no. Now, the kid would die wouldnt he..? They say children, especially babies, are "rabb da roop" as well, thanks to their innocence and recent coming into the world. Its a tricky question what is asked above, but i believe people need to look a bit deeper and realise its not about the FORM Guru Granth Sahib Jee is in more the actual teachings, Gurbani inside. As for me, i dont know - i would try and save both and if we die in the process of saving Guru Jee, then we die. Maybe this way would be good if Maharaj lets us die such a death, that we do not have to ever die again. AYsI mrnI jo mrY bhuir n mrnw hoie ]1] aisee maranee jo marai bahur n maranaa hoe ||1|| Whoever dies, let him die such a death, that he does not have to die again. ||1||
  2. Look beyond your eyes. Not everythings black and white. Many normal people will see Guru Jee as a book and therefore find sukhaasan etc ritualistic. But those who have done true Bhagti.. who are "beyond" normal... will see Guru Jee as something different. They will see an embodiment, and not a book. They have realised the True Guru. They will see a Truer form. but for us, who are not at that stage, all our paapi minds can see is a "book". This is our own doing. You need to get to a higher lev, do more bhagti, naam Bani, simran to get closer to Guru Jee who will show you His True Form. If you are not prepared to do that, then you should not raise this topic. Guru Nanak Dev Jee... "AAP NARAYAN KALAA TAAR JAG MEIN PARVARIYO..." God used His own great Power to come into this world via Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Guru Nanak Dev Jee had the light in Him. But he was not different from you or I in that sense. Because we all have the Light within us. The difference was that Guru Nanak Dev Jee had found the light... he found the SOURCE of the Light. He basked in the Light His entire life. We have that light in us but we are caught up in a Dark age... we cant even see a single ray of light, never mind finding the Source. Forgive my many mistakes...
  3. I think time is just numbers when it comes to amrit vela Amrit vela should be dependent on the sun rising...
  4. ohh mann COCA COLA! SO much that i couldnt live a day without a can...! And im addicted to the keertani Bhai Satvinder Singh delhi wale... blisss..
  5. it is a psychological trick. for example... a car could cost £9,999 and they could advertise it on tv as "ON THE ROAD FROM UNDER £10,000!" which makes it sound cheaper and more affordable. In the same way, when a relative asks someone "oh how much did flaanaa give on your sons birthday?" they can say £21 and its a psychological trick for the other person who plants it in their mind as "over twenty pounds". Its just one of them things..
  6. Probably not any free. I dont think Windows Movie Maker 2.0 does it either. I would just "borrow" a copy of Adobe Premiere 7.0 + from someone and use that if you need to ...
  7. LOL I think he does use it a lot but thats his kinda catchphrase. its not reli his jokes... its his style! his accent etc is so wkd..! neway, back to the topic... which was a joke anyway i guess so back to whatever u want... :D

  9. Out of respect, please try and refer to the occasion as Gurpurab - for Guru's were beyond birth and death and they remain forever eternal. Bhul chuk maaf.
  10. Photographs from a brilliant Gurpurab weekend in Wolverhampton have been added online at www.ektaone.com :D
  11. Its also like the Tsunami that happened a few years ago ... all buildings etc were destroyed by the tsunami but places such as mosques etc where people had done or were doing bhagti stood virtually untouched...
  12. Bush is a proper ****. HE is the worlds BIGGEST terrorist himself. Anyone who cant see that are blind fools. Dont be fooled people. His office spends like millions on his PR and everything... including all his speeches etc and he gets trained on how to give presentations and what not... Yet with all this, he appears in his speeches a dumb twit who babbles or says something stupid. We've all seen the clips. But this is to disillusion people into thinking he cant be clever enough to mastermind such a terrorist regime himself and be able to mastermind his plan to earn himself BILLIONS of dollars using oil industry. He makes out likes hes thick but he is far from it.
  13. I think ure on about BT Openzone then... check this link out : https://www.btopenzone.com/why/why_wifi.jsp
  14. Its raising awareness... Politics is the battle ground nowadays and we have to use tact to raise awareness. If anyone does have any good ideas as to how we can raise awareness sensibly and seriously, then contact the Sikh Federation or Young Sikhs uk and help in these things...! Birminghams vigil was good. Maybe not a mass turnout by our community, but parchaar was still done, ardaas was done, awareness was raised and its better than sitting on our butts moaning about why no one recognises the sacrifice of thousands in the 1970's onwards... ok. i understand a bit. but first we need to convince our own sikhs why dey need to fight for a homeland and what happened in 84. den more people might decide to come to light candles. at da moments most sikhs dont know enuf about what happened. so dey dont come. my gurdwara had no posters, only da khalistani gurdwara promote dis and thats not even done properly. u got 2 make sikhs interested first, dey got 2 be convinced y dey need to light candles specially wen da same singhs tell dem not to light diwas on diwali. I think there are ENOUGH passionate Sikhs around that can drive the cause for Khalistan - you cant please everyone and you cant convince everyone. I think theres enough parchaar on 84 about there and enough documents, literature, websites, campaigns produced for people to educate themselves on and enough to convince them as well but theres only so much you can do before dictating to people. They have to take the step to educate themselves as well and if they dont want to... what else can you do?
  15. I dont think there is a fix for this really. I believe those functions are designed for compatibility with IE only and not firefox.
  16. Wi-Fi minutes where? With who? T-mobile? Is it for ure laptop? Basically, T-Mobile and Vodafone in particular have introduced wi-fi hotspots at places such as airports, cafes, even park benches so people can use the internet at these designated spaces - normally for a small fee based on how long u want to go online for. I assume that in this case, theyve given u free access at these hot spots for a certain amount of time...
  17. Vaheguroo jee ka Khalsa. Vaheguroo jee kee Fateh. Heres my thoughts - i dont know if he is a rapist or not either but maybe the title of this thread which brands him as a rapist should be changed because we are no one to judge on such a serious allegation...?
  18. Gatka video has been released on http://www.unitedsikhs.com/ CHECK-IT-OUT...

  21. As i type, i am watching CrimeWatch... and im really annoyed. There was a feature about honour killings etc and one muslim guy was talking about men and how backward thinking they are in regards to their women... the thing was, he actually referred to "Muslim and Sikh men"... i mean what the...?! How many cases do you hear of honour killings or beatings in the Sikh community? Ive never heard of one in my life, yet i do not deny these things happen. He went on to say "this is a problem in the Muslim and Sikh community" ... we have seriously lost the plot - we are being so misrepresented and we stand by and let it happen openly...
