I encourage camp organizers to have some sort of ratio system like having 50% Mona/patit attendees. Most of the good sikh camps have 90% or more amritdhari Sikhs. Great impact would be if same organizers but with total different type of attendees.

Due to recent tirade of self-promoter dya singh against sri akal takht by attending a meeting hosted/arranged by SCUK will only damage the relation of sri akal takht sahib and SCUK. Regardless of how frustrating the work nature is in the office of sri akal takht sahib, i would highly recommend that years of hard work by such organization should not be held down by involving outsiders. I agree that Akal Takht sahib and its sewadars are not doing 90% of their job but however we should keep trying until we get what we want. The reason i am posting this is because i like what scuk foks are doing but wanted to advice/warn them of not involving outsiders in internal meetings. I know founding members of scuk occasionally look at this website, so hence my post. Trend is making money in religious albums but I am glad that singers are making religious songs to attract non-religious sikh youth in Punjab.

I work in food industry and I know lot about food safety and all but I strongly disagree with gloves and degh sewa. No gloves or pls pick another sewa. Sewa like loo room cleaning requires gloves, so that is good reason for using gloves.

Difference between men and women is that when victim is girl from India then whole nri men family is involved. When a boy from India or boy from abroad is involved then the girl family is never involved in it as she alone hid her intentions. Only recent immigrants or those who got recent immigration very easily (sponsored by family members) are the one who do such anti sikh stuff. Also some blame lies to parents in India who heavily gets sold on "NRI" status.

This happens to many people but what I would suggest you is to keep faith in our gurus. Never ever be afraid of such superstitious stuff. The day you are scared of them is the day you become victim. Always be proud to say that you are sikh and you have firm belief in sikhi and guru sahib jee protects you will keep bad stuff away. However your sikhi proudness should come from heart.

I agree with you that movies should be made in different languages. However we should also keep in mind that punjabi is our dharamic language and youth should make effort to learn punjabi in order to understand guru sahib jees creation of Gurmukhi. Though totally agree that movies made in Punjab should have English option or dubbed before releasing to public.

Punjab created industry near Delhi (factories, warehouse etc) before India took away in 50's by creating two states additional states from Punjab. Now all that industry is in Haryana state. Politicians of Punjab are stupid and they create such fake news/scheme without shame gives me bit shock. Nothing is going to come up as we all know about such airports. They cannot even maintain profitability of Amritsar airport who got international airport status in 80's. What these basal are doing is to announce such news to favor his or his friends piggy banks. Such announcements increase land value nearby and these ppl owns hundreds of acres and they loot ppl by selling them after creating fake press releases.
