Waheguruji Ka Khalsa Waheguruji Ki Fateh!!!!!! Its my humble request to all Gurpyares here to advice me for simran when I am working. I am completely out of track, lost concentration while doing nitnem, always distracted etc etc. I am always working long hours and am mostly sleepy and tired. If I choose to jus jaap Waheguruji while I am working, does that count as simran? I know I am sitting and concentrating. please share with me ur tricks and techniques and help me. Thats true. i agree with you. but people change in their level of spirituality as their times comes with Waheguruji's kirpa. a marriage is meeting of two souls and not bodies. there is a mutual sense of respect, trust and understanding. a person can get married and later in life realize the essence of sikhi and to be a part of it. however, this is not acceptable to his/her partner. this can cause alot of trouble. would u all justify the person who wants to be Guruji's sikh to stay away from Guruji coz of his/her partner? i personally don't think thats right. everything happens because of Waheguruji's will/bhana and we have to accept it. being united or seprated like all other things in life are HIS creations. all the sukh & dukh."Sanjog Vijog Duikaar chalave, lekhe aave bhaag". i don't wish to offend anyone. its jus my views. sorry.

I do really get upset when people bring out stuff like "one's own blood & family". and to my surprise its not only older traditional people but also some young people i have spoken to. Its more about ur relation with the other little jeo who is meant to be with u and can be related to u through pichele karam. Don't wish to offend anyone. jus my 2 cents. WJKK WJKF I have heard alot of stuff like this before. the best way is to educate ourself and our children and youth about our sikhi. The biggest problem is young people being ignorant about their own faith and get attracted/convinced by other faiths. Bhul Chuk Maaf

Jus sharing what he said. Amrit gives a person a new life. its the path chosen by the individual and its your personal relation with Waheguruji. If my husband doesn't want to shak amrit, he should not hold me back. likewise u cannot force anybody to shak amrit. he said its all abt pyaar. Mahamorakh paaapi me, made the best decision of my life after wasting 22 years. i think if u aren't married its quite obvious that u will have an amritdhari partner but if u r already, don't let maya hold u back. jus my 2 cents. Waheguruji Ka Khalsa Waheguruji Ki Fateh !!!!!! I totally agree with kaur_khalistani_lioness phainji. My case is a little different. I plan to shak amrit this year. that is 3 years after my marriage. my husband won't do it and isn't really supportive. the issues brought up for me were change in looks. someone actually said"u won't look that pretty after amrit shak" :umm: and similar materialistic and egoistic stuff. and the most funny is, "u don't have to be an amritdhari to be a good sikh or a good human" and "not all amritdharis are good" these statements have their own arguements which i don't go into. sangat jio, please do ardas for me . i can't wait until baisakhi to be Guru Gobind Singhji's daughter.
