  1. I was not invited in the marriage of Daljit Singh Bittu but I went to attend it as I came to know about it by Newspapers. There I came to know that there were very little who where invited and most have come there on their own. even Simranjit Singh Mann attended the marriage and so did capt. Kamaljit Singh. If some one comes to attend your marriage and he afterwards is shown as a police cat then should we believe that you too are of a suspicious character?
  2. There is no information even after more than five days about the whereabouts of Sewak Singh, a Ph. D student of Punjabi University, Patiala who was taken away by Ludhiana Police along with a DSP of Patiala from Homi Bhabha Hostel located with in the University campus. Today firm documentary evidence came into light that proves that Sewak Singh was taken away by Ludhiana police and this police party was accompanied to university by a local DSP. As per University Security officer’s letter no. 554 S.O on 4 September 2009 at around mid night (00:00 hrs) three police vehicles reached the main gate of the campus and this convey was lead by a TATA Sumo numbered PB11AE 3262. The person sitting in the sumo claimed that he was Police personnel and even showed his ID card. They informed that they are to go to Homi Bhabha Hostel No 4. Then university security personal introduced this police party to warden of Hostel number 4. Similarly, warden of Homi Bhabha Hostel in his letter numbered 942/HBH confirmed the fact that the police party brought Sewak Singh along with them. They entered in the hostel at 00:05 hrs and searched the room number 29A that belongs to Sewak Singh. At 00:50 hrs this police party left the hostel along with Sewak Singh. They informed the Warden that this police party belongs to Ludhiana and a DSP from Patiala is accompanying it. As per security officer’s report the police party left the university through its’ main gate at 01:00 hrs. You can get more information from: http://www.sikhsiyasat.com/news/sept09/sewaksingh.html (As I have copied above contents from that site). PROOFS: I found following proofs over archive.org about Sewak Being picked up by Ludhiana Police: Just Check: http://www.archive.org/details/WardenAndSecurityOfficerLetterRegardingSewakSinghsCustody and http://www.archive.org/details/HostelWardenOnPoliceCustodyOfSewakSinghAPh.DStudentAtPunjabi -- H. 3. I agree with you at some point. It is not the matter being afraid but it is the matter of playing politics while safeguarding the kaum interests rather than personal. I didn't explained it well in my first reply as i don't want to get into this but let me say, "If bittu stands in the election (as he is)," then ppl like me will not vote for him. If Mann stands in the election (As he is), then ppl likes of bittu will not vote for him. So that is main reason why old players with history should not stand in election. You may know how Obama won the election: "New Face with less history" How long will it take to "taint" a new face? Amritpal Singh Kotdharmu, Gamdoor Singh Jhanduke, Jaspal Singh Manjhpur (Advo) are all new faces but what happened? Learn the nature and behavior of the State. We take all things lightly and form our opinions with little knowledge. Do not take it that I am commenting on some one who has replied to this forum, I'm talking about general tendency among Sikhs. & I think Daljeet Singh bittu will never contest any elections, be it MLA, MP or SGPC, though his party may..
  4. Just Check http://www.sikhsiyasat.com/news/aug09/sikh_leader_bhai_daljeet_singh_bittu_arrested.pdf its' recently updated, i think.
  5. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh || Ghadar Movement struck against British Empire during initial years of 20th Century. This movement was started by Sikhs. (From about 6000-7000 Gadris who returned to Punjab from USA, Canada etc. only 25-30 were with heir cuts. - See Satinder Sanyal Book. But most books (Other than written by Ghadris them selves) say that Ghardris were Punjabis/Hindustanis. The use of work "Sikhs" is deliberately avoided. Some say that Gadris were Comrades (non-religious) but there are evidences that they were all Sikhs and many (rather mostly) were Amritdharis. Many such issues are now brought into light by Sikh Shahadat Magazine (in August 2009) issue. I thought Youth may be interested in reading it so I wanted to share it with you all. I expect that you will have a reading of relevant contents of the Magazine @ http://www.SikhShahadat.com/200908/index.html and then will share your views. Regards Harjodh Singh
  6. I recently read an article : What Sumedh Saini Case Reveals? This is posted on a website http://www.punjabnewsnetwork.com Here is some portion of this article: (Read it, and I recommend that each one should read the article full.) It is better if you share your views on points raised in the article: There is a long list of Police personal who are not just employees or members of armed forces of Indian State but in essence they are pillars of “State Protecting Machinery”. They have protected the State from “Anti State Elements” by eliminating them, mostly in fake encounters. Such “Elements” ranged from 90 years old women to four years old children. State can not tolerate any damage or threat of damage to these pillars, therefore many prominent leaders of Indian State often plead for withdrawal of judicial process or any other action initiated against cops like KPS Gill, Sumedh Saini and Swarn Ghotna. Recently Punjab’s Health Minister and legislative member from Sri Amritsar, Laxmi Kanta Chawla, has pleaded for withdrawal of all cases against all officers who carried (so called) “Anti-terrorism operations”. This statement was issued soon after Punjab & Haryana High Court ordered CBI to conduct an inquiry against Sumedh Saini in a case of abduction with intention to murder. Punjab CM, Mr. PS Badal, has always been pro-active in protecting such State pillars. http://www.punjabnewsnetwork.com/news/2008...saini.case.html
