  1. Please keep us updated and let us know when paajis next fight is? Does anyone know where paaji is from or where he trains? any footage of his previous fights? Respectfully, this is a very competitive industry -many fighters parade their fighting ability, etc on youtube. Subaig Singh is originally from the Midlands and modest. He does not want his opponents to get 'intelligence' on his fighting prowness -please come and watch the Singh at his next bout -its going to be anarchy ! Watch this space...
  2. I just spoke with him at hospital. The doctors/ consultants have chained him. A mad dog chained in a kennel comes to mind ! He hurt himself beating a more experienced champ. Apparently the promoters of this fight had a real issue in matching him up (two earlier opponents bottled out seeing him !). Subaig will be fighting in the next few weeks to reek some heavy duty carnage.
  3. JASSA: You are right ! Singhs should not start crying because some girl does not want a boy who has the suroop of the Sikh -I say good riddance/ thanks for letting me know. If you keep getting turned down, then think: a. is it because I am looking in the wrong places/ attracting the wrong girls b. even if they said yes and you got married -she may not have the maturity/ mental balance to have a successful marriage with a Sikh and carry the next generation of a Sikh parvar c. you are projecting the wrong image I hate all this self pity -cant get married. I know loads of Sikh families whose daughters/ sisters want Sikh boys with the suroop. Get a fit body/ develop a sense of humour/ get a 'wow' job/ be confident/ be proud to be a Sikh and watch them flock and queue !!!!!
  4. I've seen this Singh fight ! He is perhaps the most technical and focused fighter I have seen in my 20+ years of boiler room gyms. His patka has never come off (certain technnique to it) and if it does well, its defcom 5 for the Singh and his gonna rip the gora and make him bond with the his folks from the British raj !
  5. Well done Singhs and Singhnio ! I was wondering when we would start slating this endeavor.... I was expecting this type of infantile chatter a few months ago. Hoh hum, a bit optimistic on my part. The Sikh Channel on Sky840 is a BUSINESS. Setup costs could easily buy one of those super new Gurdwarae. Running a channel like this relies on CASH that only the big Gurdwarae have going through on a monthly basis. This channel is not being run on behalf of the sangat. Technically, you will be able to see their accounts at the end of the tax year regardless. They rely solely on adverts and donations. This initiative is not about some big Panthic seva. This is about running a business to promote Sikhi. The quicker the sangat get this into their heads the better. The BUSINESS needs to remain 'mainstream' and 'moderate' to draw in sangat. If you want an exclusive Taksali (or whatever Jathabandae) channel then open up your own. Their customer base has to be as wide as possible. Typically (and I'm saying this generally) that students and the elderly are the most prominent to watch a channel like this -NEITHER group has much disposible cash. Therefore, they need to market to families/ couples/ businesses to draw in the revenue. Needless to say, students and the elderly will already have their views on what they want to watch and dont. I do strongly believe the Sikh Channel MUST NOT promote any anti Gurmat parchaar or go against the hukumnammae/ marayada of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji. We must remember that this is an infantile initiative -setting up accounts, etc will take time (otherwise the boys would get chased out of the country !). Good luck Sikh Channel
  6. Well done guys. This is a great step. Basically, it is difficult to kill Ram raheem because of his security. However, we should be going for the next best thing which is beating up/killing/maiming his key followers. If you cant hit the jackpot you can always hit the next best thing. They cant guard everyone and everything. Hit the weaker targets. These fools shouldnt be able to sleep at night. Make it feel unsafe and unpopular to be a follower of dera chootha sauda. This is war guys. Anything goes.
  7. A video I picked up on the internet. Appears to be a Kabaddi tournament where only kesadhari participants and take part - with a view to encouraging more kesadhari players to take up the sport. Looks quite good to me. Mostly trim Singhs but its still a start. More Singhs should play contact sport sports. Have a look....
  8. jUST HAD A LOOK AT THE VIDEO OF PAKIZ AMBUSHING A SIKH CAR. IT REALLY IS PATHETIC. IT IS NOTHING TO BE PROUD OF. IF PAKIZ THINK THAT THEY ARE SOME BIG BABBAR SHERES BECAUSE THEY CROWD AROUND CARS AND JUMP AROUND LIKE MONKEYS, THEN THEY REALLY ARE COMPLETELY DELUISONAL. C'MON FELLAS! WE SHOULD BE KNOCKING THESE PATHETIC, LIMPING ARABIC LEPERS AROUND LEFT RIGHT AND CENTRE! I TAKE BACK MY COMMENT ABOUT NOT GETTING OUT OF THE CAR AND KNOCKING SEVEN BELLS OUT OF THEM THEY ARE A BUNCH OF WIMPS WHO HAVE A LOW SELF ESTEEM. THEY ONLY COME OUT ALL BOISTEROUS WHEN THERES LIKE A MILLION OF THEM. THEY ARE CLEARLY OVERCOMPENSATING FOR THEIR COMPLETE LACK OF SELF WORTH AND TRYING TO GET SUM KIND OF ENJOYMENT FROM THEIR PATHETIC, PITIFUL LIVES. KEEP IT COMING PAKIZ. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS. SIKHS WILL WAKE UP SOON. AND WHEN THEY DO, YOU WILL WISH THAT YOU WERE SOME PLACE ELSE
  9. They can do as much commando training as they want, Singhs will still merk them off easy. Once a coward always a Coward. They will never be able to breed that trait out of themselves.
  10. Pakiz, RSS and other enemies dont like Sikhs. The reason they dont like us is because we think that we are better than everyone else. The pakiz think, hang on a second, you lot wear these funny hats with these big fuzzy beards. We constantly slap you guys up, we get your women, and we've been killing you for centuries... Hell you guys havent even got your own country and we outnumber you jokers by like 30 to 1. So what gives you guys the right to think that you're better than us? They begrudge our self confidence and the fact that we dont rate pakiz whatsoever. They begrudge the spirit that we have of never accepting defeat. No matter what they say or do to us, we'll still wake up the next day thinking that we are better than they are.. and they cant take it Lol
  11. Heres my take on the situation. I am from Nottingham and was in Nottingham when the cricket was on. Two of my Sikh friends had their taxis kicked in by pakiz and given verbal abuse whilst they were celebrating and yes there were a few incidents against Sikhs. I personally, didnt go anywhere near the cricket because I intuitively knew that it would not be a very sensible thing to do. Now me personally, I know that I can fight. However, getting out of your car in the middle of a street and trying to fight a mob of 10,000 pakiz is not a particularly clever idea, so we need to maintain some sort of perspective on all of this. Lets face it, Pakiz dont like Sikhs, so we should avoid being in places where there are lots of young paki men in large groups who are likely to cause trouble. The problem with some of our people is that they are very naive. They are switched off. They are asleep. It doesnt matter if you know shastar vidiya, jang vidiya taekwonfunkyjitsu. If you have to fight against such large numbers, you will lose or you will go to jail. Fighting should not be taken lightly. At the end of the day, the most important skill you need to have is the ability to smell danger and to avoid it.
  12. Well done guys. Keep up the good work. If I am in town I will definitely pop down and train with you guys. well done again. vjkk vjkf
  13. i love HSD and fordcapri's one two sessions. I would pay to see both of you step into the cage and have it out lol
  14. wjkk wjkf The Rally was really really good. Great to be part of it and stand shoulder to shoulder with my fellow Sikhs. The organisers really went to town on making the event visually impactive and spreading the message to Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike May I also congratulate everyone on their flawless behaivour during the event. I think that we came across as very emotional but also very well behaved and dignified. It is irrelevant as to whether or not any 'fruit' was delivered from this event. The main thing is that more people came to this event than they did for the 20th Anniversary. It sends out a clear message to India and the rest of the world that Sikhs have not forgotten 84 and that support for the Sikh cause is growing and not decreasing. It makes me smile to think about how <Edited> off the Indian Government and RSS are going to be when they find out that 25-30,000 Gursikhs marched through London, shouting slogans of Khalistan. As a side note, I can promise that the fun is not over yet. If you thought that the Hyde Park Rally was good, just you wait when you come to the NATIONAL MAHAAN SHAHEEDI SAMAAGAM on 5th July at Prestwold Hall. This event is going to smash all other events to pieces. I can guarantee that it will be the most inspirational event that you have ever been to. For those of you have questions about 'how do Sikhs move forward in the future?' and strategic planning for the Sikh kaum, then this event will go some of the way in answering some of your questions (through your own and the rest of the sangat's involvement of course) If you want to part of the new global agenda for Sikhs then you have to be part of this event. I expect that 100,000 of us will be there on that historic day. Dont miss it.
  15. There have been actually been 6 episodes of holocausts in sikh history, if you define a holocaust as being an episode of mass killing where innocent people were killed, simply because they were Sikhs. 1. November 1693 - 20,000 Men women and children killed by Bazakrai Afghans when Aurazeb gave the order to kill Sikhs on sight. 2. 10th December 1710- Bahadhur Shah issued an edict to 'kill the disciples of Nanak whereever they are found'. Thousands were killed in Dehli along with Baba Banda Singh Bahahdur 3. 1726-1745. Zakriya Khan, Govenor of Punjab and Lakhpat Rai give cash prizes for those who bring their severed heads to Lahore market at a place now called 'Shaheed Ganj.' This was facilitated by Mir Mannu. Thousands were killed in this manner. This period ended with the 'chota ghallughara' in 1746 where 7,000 Sikhs were killed in one day. 4. 1762 'vadda ghallughara' where 30,000 Sikhs were killed by Ahmed Shah Abdali. 5. 1947, ethnic cleansing of Sikhs started actually in the north west frontier province as early as 1946. 2.5% of the Sikh population was wiped out. In one area alone called sheikpuri: 20,000 Sikhs were killed 6. 1984-1995. Over this ten year period approximately 250,000 Sikhs were killed. Regarding, the 84 period, I wouldnt necessarily describe the bluestar attack itself as a holocaust but rather the whole period from 84-95 as a systematic gencode of Sikhs took place in Punjab's villages combined with the mass killings in Dehli and other parts of India after Indira Ghandi's assassination. I think that the term ' The Modern Sikh holocaust 1984-95' may be more appropriate.
  16. He doesnt actually go on stage with the Punjabi singers, he only records sarangi samples in the studio, gets paid and goes home. I think that is fair enuff because he is a professional musician and is just earning a living playing his instrument - no big deal. I would have more of an issue I suppose if he was trying to straddle two horses by playing saranghi on stage on the saturday night at a bhangra gig and doing dhadi in the gurdwara on the sunday morning. However, I believe that he is actually a dhadi at heart, and a Gurdwara-based performer and any involvement in bhangra is both anonymous and minimal. He is also a top bloke and a good Sikh. I personally wouldnt want to get involved with anyone else's personal business unless they were doing beadbi or had an anti-Sikh agenda, which I dont think he has.
  17. Good. I am glad about this. People are leaving Sikhi left right and centre. There need to be some good and clever counter strategies to make the prospect of leaving Sikhi less attractive. This is one of them Well done NO SURRENDER
  18. Ridiculous video. Maha Besharam. These people are trying to create a new social norm. In this new norm, you are allowed to be proud of being sikh but you dont have to follow the basic tenets of Sikhism such as keeping kes, taking amrit doing simran and being martial. They want to make it look like it is okay to show your pride through wearing a khanda and that this is sufficient to show your loyalty to sikhi. Unfortunately, the only loyalty that is accepted by the Guru is the 'giving of the head'. Nothing else will suffice. We need to challenge this behaivour and let it be known that this weakness cannot be tolerated. If they want to express Punjabi pride in bhangra songs etc, then fine. However they should not bring Sikhi and Sikh symbols into the mix. NO SURRENDER to these people trying to water down Sikhi norms.
  19. All major panthic campaigns have historically started at the Akal Takhat Sahib in Amritsar. This includes everything from the Panthic desicion to take the city of Lahore in the 18th century as a safeguard against invasion right through to the Sikh Gurdwara reform movements, Guru Ka Bagh, Jaito morchas etc against the gorai, Sikh-centered independence movements, and the campaign for Punjabi Suba in the 70s The Harimandir Sahib complex and Akal Takhat has always been the centre of Sikh spiritual and political affairs. All spiritual and political desicions that concern the Panth have been taken from there. That is why successive regimes have sought to destroy the Harimandir Sahib and Akal Takhat Sahib 7 times throughout Sikh history, because of its importance. It has been completely destroyed about three times. Sikhs have fortified it on more than one occasion, including against Abdali's attacks, they built a fort next to Akal Takhat called Ram Rauni. The Dharam Yudh Morcha (based from Akal Takhat Sahib) was a Panthic campaign in the late 70s and 80s in which Sikhs peacefuly campagined for the implementation of the Anandpur Sahib Resolution, a paper document which listed demands that would benefit Sikhs and other Punjabis spiritually, politically, socially and economically. Both the Akalis and Sant Bhindranwale were proponents of the Resolution, however, the Akalis began to falter in their resolve so Sant Bhindranwale gave them a kick up the backside and took the lead in the Dharam Yudh Morcha, which was organised from the Akal Takhat Sahib. The Indian Government tried many methods to try and sabotage the Dharam Yudh Morcha. This included provoking the Sikhs into armed conflict by attacking, killing Sikhs, beadbi of SGGS and trying to blame Sant Bhindranwale for undertaking criminal activities. The Sikhs leading the Morcha were at direct risk from the security forces and had to arm themselves and fortify the complex. This was less for their own safety and more for the fact that it was vital that the morcha continued to operate and guide the Sikh kaum as to what should happen. They knew that support for the Sikh campaign was so great that the only way they could stop Sikhs from exercising their soverignety was to stop the Dharam Yudh Morcha altogether by killing Sant Jarnail Singh. They used media powers and propoganda to create an environment in which it would be justified to storm the Harimandir sahib complex and kill the Singhs inside who were leading the Morcha Out of principle, Jarnail Singh stayed in the Akal takht Sahib and Harimandir Sahib complex because he knew that nothing could/should compromise the Sikh requirement to gather there, pass gurmattas for the Panth, and act as the source of political and spiritual guidance for the Sikh kaum, regardless of whether or not the Indian Government approved of it. Sant Bhindranwale was a man of principles, so nothing would deter him, not even death. If he had left the complex, the Sikh kaum would have viewed that as an act of surrender and he would have lost all respect. It would also have undermined the importance of Akal Takhat Shaib as being the the supreme temporal authority for all Sikhs that must be obeyed at all costs. Sikhs have always historically gathered there and governed themselves. Nothing can ever stop us from doing that and we do not need anyones permission to do so. In summary, Yes the Sikhs were aware that an attack might take place on Harimandir Sahib and attempt to sabotage the Dharam Yudh Morcha which represented the whole Panth. Yes the Sikhs had every right to be there and Yes they had the right to defend themselves, the complex and the morcha itself with weapons and fortifications.
  20. There is still some caste discrimination in Punjab but things are improving. Remember that so-called members of lower castes are offered alot of legal protection as a community and have special quotas for employment in the government, military and police. They are also doing alot better economically with alot more rich businessmen and even land-owners coming through. They are hardworkers and motivated by poverty to do as well as they possibly can unlike many of my fellow jatts who sit on a manji all day doing jack all. If things keep going the way that they are, they will be running Punjab in a few years time. Contrast this to other parts of India where the level of caste discrimination and exploitation is huge. Because of their increased wealth, power and influence, they have, with a little bit of encouragement from Indian secret agencies, begun to re-assert their identity and authority as a distinct ethnic group, by identifying with Bhagat Ravidaas and building their own Gurdwaras. Unfortunately, alot of them have also turned their back on mainstream Sikhi and are prone to getting involved with cults and deras. Most of these deras such as sacha sauda etc are made up of Dalits. However, if they really want to 'elevate' themselves, why not take Amrit, become a Khalsa and be free from the shackles and slavery of the caste system altogether? I mean come on, lets face it, I doubt many Jatts would have the guts to discriminate against a shastardhari bana wearing Khalsa Sikh, even if he/she was from a Dalit background. A dalit who becomes an Amritdhari Sikh is no longer a dalit. He/she is a Khalsa Sikh, end of story. As a thought, I wonder how much of this moaning about caste is actually part of having a chip on their shoulder about past discrimination... A bit like kaaleh who still complain about racism because 'they is black' even though the Government and most organisations have bent over backwards to accomodate them. Sometimes, some groups of people have a low self-esteem and constantly think that the whole world is against them and enjoy playing the victim role so that they can blame an external force for their problems rather than accept any responsiblity for their failings. I wonder if this is the case with the 'dalits' in Punjab. I would be interested to find out what other people think about this
  21. I am impressed that we as a kaum have started to display a certain level of intellect to our campaigning this time round. I think that most panthic organisations have played this situation well. On one level the Singhs who have shot this fake baba have done a good job. I salute them. Anyone wanting to engage in beadbi or anti-panthic activity should have some fear in their belly that they might be next. DO NOT underestimate the psychological impact that this has on prospective nakli babas. They are all just in it for the money and none of them wants to die over it. On another level, I cant help but think that the Indian secret agencies have some hand in this with a view to whipping up anti-panthic/anti-khalistan type sentiments so close to the 25th anniversary of Operation Bluestar. I think that most panthic organisations are aware of this and are not falling into the trap of taking the Dera Sachkhand supporters head on. Instead they are expressing solidarity with the dalits and with the ravidassia community so that existing differences based on caste etc are not solidified or worsened. At the moment, we as Sikhs need peace in Punjab. We dont need a civil war or disruption of law and order. It will set us back decades and we will come out of it badly, given our current state. I am glad that the Sikh leadership is playing this one sensibly and preserving peace at all costs. Although it is an emotional time for us and we are all pretty narked off about the situation, the overall strategy should be for Sikhs to develop good relations with everybody, both friends and enemies alike. We need to strengthen ourselves and strengthen our relationships with other groups. Lets face it, the face of Punjab has changed. It is now a multi-cultural, multi-religious place. If we want the Khalsa Panth to flourish, we need to start trying to get on with everybody else. Only if channels of dialogue are open can we truly influence change.
  22. Kalyug u r right. No Gurukaghar should be promoting interfaith marriages as it contravenes maryada. End of discussion. However, we must realise with all these new Gurdwara complexes being built, revenue streams are necessary. Consequently, Sikhi is being comprimised to bring in the money to pay for the lavish buildings. Remember, this matrimonial service brings in cash to the golak. I heard on the weekend that a Gurdwara in the north of England stopped wedding parties in one of its facilities in the Gurdwara complex -they made a loss of £21k in the last year ! Myia and ignorance have allot to play in this....
  23. Guys, stop scrapping it isnt productive ! All I can say is that the Matrimonial List is another channel for someone to find a partner. The Gurdwara is providing this as a service to the Sangat. If there are Hindus, etc on the list then so be it. There is immense pressure to get married from parents. They are 'event' focused -just want to see their kid get married asap. What many families forget that marriage is 'relationship' based and that is why after a few months problems/ divorce creeps in. Many families regard themselves to be Indian/ Punjabi/ Jatt, Ramgharia, etc and then Sikh. So the notion of Sikh marrying a Sikh doesnt apply. So when we have 'Hindu-Punjabis' they think its acceptable. These families lack grit ! Coz especially if its a Hindu-Punjabi guy marrying a Sikh girl he will always have his way (ie. Hindu customs, etc) when the child is born, etc -the Sikh girl is just thankful she has got married (not realising she has given up her heritage for this relationship). I say 'good stock' only marry 'good stock' -let others do as they please. Its all free enterprise.
  24. Sarpanch -your passion is admirable ! I am amazed at how many Ramigharis and Bhatra Guru Ka Ghar are not ready to embrace this event. The managing committees egos are bigger than the duty to the Sangat. 7th June is more than a Khalistan get together -its to show/ demonstrate/ mark history of the injustice to the Sikh nation. Sarpanch, any person say who are you to 'judge', blah blah is a prat ! Innocent Sikhs were slaughtered and our heritage destroyed. Isnt that enough for people to commemorate ? Cowards to those who nit pick this event. Shameful to those who do not attend.
