Harpreet 1) Have u ever been to a beach? 2) If u have, u would knw that at some point there would have been half naked ppl smoking, drinking & doing other things. 3) Even if the place was cleaned up, would it be any different to going to a club/hall, cleaning it up etc, doing Maharaj Parkash and getting a married there? Would that be acceptable? 4) If there was no local Gurdwara in the area, where did they get Maharaj Saroop from? 5) If there was no local Gurdwara in the area, why couldn't they get married at home or wherever Maharaj Saroop was brought from. Answer: Simples...It was all for show. PS: These ppl were getting married, not going into jang. This is very different from the Singhs in WW2. It wasn't very 'convenient' for them to go to war on behalf of countries they had never seen. You don't take Maharaj with full Satkaar for 'convenience' when you know you're most probably going to die, it's out of Love, and for taking Hukamnama, yes it is a necessity.
