  1. Is this some type of cynical attempt to raise money from innocent Sikhs ? There is no proposed bandh by the Shiv Sena in Punjab - theres nothing been reported - nothing on the net about it - seems like someones playing games ! No wonder Sikhs can never unite
  2. If this Amar JKP is really the same dude from Hindu-Sikh.com then he truly is a double edged dodgy character check this out: http://www.hostmybb.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=601&start=60&mforum=hindusikhs QUOTE: is all true - I deal with these Sikh fudus on sikhsangat.com every day and from personal experience that they are 24 karat grade A FUDUS that talk aaaa all day long I take the piss of them all the time thay are so easy to make fools of and they jump on my threads like mad dogs - the biggest gandu is one character who calls himself Sarpanch - a fudu with no life, no wife and all strife WHAT THE HELL is this guy up to ?
  3. some people truly have no shame when it comes to distorting the message of Sikhi You have been provided with several accepted translations of the Dasam Granth clearly referring to Krishna as the servant but the truth is that some people have already made their minds up and try to find words to make the Guru speak for them instead of trying to understand the true message For changig one word Ram Rai was rejected by the Guru but todays charlatans and fakes do not think twice before trying to promote their own insecurities and pre determined agendas on the scriptures. I have noticed that for some people being Sikh is just being not-Hindu without any real beleif in Sikhi
  4. you still havent shown why would virtually all the translations of the relevant passage refer not to insect but to servants the puranic imagery is freely used throughout the scriptures and the same names are used for the praise of God by the Bhagats but obvioulsly in your mission to prove the promotion of hatred you know better than all of them
  5. I truly pity the mindset that seeks to find support from hatred in the scriptures the Dasam Granth as far as I am aware in its various translations have given the meaning as stated and not as insect if thats what you choose to beleive then thats up to you but it does not make it true you have to try and grasp the full meaning of the teachings and not pick and choose whatever suits your agenda
  6. if you want to commit beadbi of the scriptures to suit your agenda then thats up to you I prefer to try and seek after the truth Kite Krisan se koot kotai banaae|| Kite Raam se mettee ?aare upaae|| Somewhere He hath created millions of the servants like Krishna. Somewhere He hath effaced and then created (many) like Rama. http://www.searchgurbani.com/main.php?book...age&page=98
  7. I dont know if you didnt read it properly or are trying to lie to people Somewhere He hath created millions of the servants like Krishna. Somewhere He hath effaced and then created (many) like Rama what people like you do is pure beadbi and lies - you should be ashamed on the same page is also says Thou hast also created the directions, the indivcations, the earth and the sky. Thou hast also related the four Vedas, the Quran and the Puranas.24.
  8. theres a bit more info about the origins of Lucifer "http://www.picknettprince.com/books/secret...gt;<BR>It is overall a good lesson for Sikhs today to learn from the past - how the Christians had to come to terms with some of the merciless punishments of God given in the Old testament with the image of a loving and peacful god propogated by Jesus. At first they beleived that both the kind and furious aspects of God were different aspects of the same being but later created the image of Lucifer, the Devil as a malignant force responsible for all the evil in the world At little like some Sikhs today always looking to blame and hate others rather than look inwards and do dome serious introspection
  9. Lucifer actually refers to 'she who seeks knowledge' and represented the pre Christian worjship of the feminine aspect of God - This was turned into devil/witch worship by the Christians and now represents evil to them Many of the Bhagats used the imagery and name of Ram and Krishna whilst expressing their love of God and to do nindiya is certainly not the Sikh way The beleif in one God is not the rejection of all other paths to reach that God - that is the Abrahamic path - lit - Christian- Islam etc where all others must be defeated and put down Sadly this is the path chosen by some Sikhs today who cant seem to identify themselves without hating Hindus or Muslims etc -
  10. the lady in the video is Wafa Sultan who has spoken with amazing courage even on Arab channels like Al Jazeera debating with Mullas and other scholars etc
  11. another pathetic and shameless thread - for some people Sikh just means to hate other people and faiths if you bother to actually look at the video it appears to be CNN coverage of the Mubai 26/11 attacks - you can see the Taj Hotel in the background and the reporter is surrounded by an agitated and angry group
  12. I recently met this guy whose really trying to push his agenda in Southall - ie as an MP etc In further discussion he was also really pushing a pro-Sikh agenda for the area I am not sure about this person - he was really pushing the pro Khalistan image but I wasnt sure whether this is his real agenda becuase he didnot give me a genuine feeling about caring for Sikh issues Anyone have any info on this guy ?
  13. a few reminders of the state of Sikh brothers and sisters in Pakistan: http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/017859.php <H3 class=title>Muslims take over Sikh Temple in Pakistan</H3>Religious imperialism: "They have taken over our temple, claiming it as their own. They have stopped us from entering the premises for the past two months." "Muslims take over gurdwara in Lahore," from Rediff (thanks to Twostellas): An 18th century Sikh temple at Naulakha Bazaar in Lahore has been taken over by a Muslim group, which has replaced the gurdwara's religious symbols with Islamic slogans, a Pakistani daily reported Tuesday. "They have taken over our temple, claiming it as their own. They have stopped us from entering the premises for the past two months," the Daily Times quoted Dr Mampal Singh, a representative of the Sikh community, as saying. He also claimed that the Evacuee Trust Property Board -- which controls the Bhai Taro Singh Jee gurdwara -- was supporting the intruders on their claim and not taking any action against them. "We have written to ETPB on July 8 for the restoration of the temple to us and the officials told us they would act on the application within a month. But they haven't done anything yet and the intruders are tightening their grip on our worship place," Dr Singh said. attack on Nankana Sahib http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/3696236.stm Pakistan shrine raid angers Sikhs Sikhs in the north Indian state of Punjab have expressed anger at an attack on a Sikh shrine in Pakistan. More than 100 students threw stones at the Gurdwara shrine, birthplace of the founder of Sikhism, at Nankana Sahib, west of Lahore, on Saturday. They were protesting at the conversion of a college building at the site into a residential hall for Sikh pilgrims. The chief of the top Sikh shrines committee, Bibi Jagir Kaur, called the attack "a matter of grave concern". Pakistani officials say it was the result of a minor misunderstanding and the safety of the shrine was not endangered. The temple is the birthplace of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev. 'Sabotage' Ms Kaur issued appeals for intervention from the Indian president and from India's first Sikh Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh. On Tuesday, the Indian foreign ministry issued a statement saying: "We hope the government of Pakistan will take the necessary measures for the protection of this holy shrine." Bibi Jagir Kaur says a delegation will go to inspect damage Ms Kaur said her Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandhak Committee would form a high-level delegation of MPs, academics and clergy to carry out an inspection of damage to the shrine. The shrine is looked after by the Pakistan Evacuee Properties Trust, which is responsible for most shrines of religious minorities in Pakistan. Senior trust officials said the attack was an isolated incident and should not be overplayed. The trust's Izhar ul-Hassan told the BBC the attack was a misunderstanding among a group of students and the matter had been resolved. Mr ul-Hassan said media reports were being exaggerated by elements that had a vested interest in sabotaging the current improvement in India-Pakistan relations. The students were apparently angry that the Punjab province government had agreed to hand over a college building near the temple to the Nankana Sahib Trust to house Sikh pilgrims. They believed the college would have to be relocated. Provincial education secretary Nazir Saeed said on Sunday that the building would be vacated only after construction of a new one for the college.
  14. nice to see Mr AK miss the sarcasm whether you like it or not the ground reality is that the Sikhs particularly the youth are facing a problem from increasingly militant Muslims the only people really holding it in Southall are the newly arrived Punjabi munde - otherwise there is a hugely increased Muslim population and as for your World Muslim Sikh Federation look at soormas like Manmohan Singh (Mr Dal Khalsa) Chairman of the same group (scroll down to the bottom) http://www.wmsf.org.uk/Events/Basant_Mela_2008.html
  15. say the videos about the Pakistanis giving it in Southall Nice to see Sarpanch and the others from the World Sikh Muslim federation joining in the celebrations
  16. Didnt 'Shaheed' Prabhakaran try and set up the Rajiv Gandhi killing on the Sikhs ? namely the Babber Khalsa ?
  17. what does bramhinvadh refer to ? it the concept of heirachy of caste The brahmins have not held power in Punjab for over five hundred years and yet we still blame them for the caste system prevelant in Punjab As Sikhs we have to take responsibilty that the caste system has not been eradicated in our majority areas, even in the rural regions where we are in an overwhelming majority the caste system is deepluy entrecnhed Only someone who has lived in Punjab can really appreciate the deep rooted caste divisions in Punjab
  18. well done you just summed up why the so called backward and scheduled castes are soo alienated from Sikhi today These have been the workers and footsoldiers for every struggle in Punjab for hudnnreds of years and just becuase they dont have well organised media outlets and politicians does not take away this fact We say we hate the Hindus - we despise the 'Bhaiyas' we want the Dalits to keep their mouths shut always looking for someone to blame when the balme lies within the truth is that most Sikhs today are not real followers of the Ten Masters and can give nothing but lip service to equality and brotherhood the scene today is that that people in record numbers are alienated from Sikh because of hate, fanatacism and fasicst crap Sikhs have to stand up and take responsibility for their actions
  19. a sad and painful post by Jason which only reflects the unfortunate truth at the ground level a large part of our people are being alienated, beaten down and then told to forget about it and then we have the cheek to tell them that they are the brahmins slaves I saw an interview with a Dalit actisit in Punjab where he says the Hindu cremation grounds are open to them but not the Sikh ! He went on to say that some Hindus were arranging intercaste weddigs and trainig as priests All this while we debate about which Baba to murder next or which Dharmsala to raid all the same time patting ourselves on the back sayig we dont beleive in castes and its all the bahamns fault some serious introspection required amongst our people or the future is very dim
  20. Sikhi will only revive when we learn to be honest and open hearted like the original Sikhs Sikhs today are mean minded and utterly incapable of accepting responsibility for their actions - its always someboday elses fault :umm: This we rightly blame the GOI for its wrong actions but say nothing to the totally irresponsible Sikh leadership for their weak and dirty actions at the same time we have heroes like Sarpanch on this site justyfying 'raiding' places of worship and the promotion of hate as if this will save Sikhi - in reality this is destroying SIkhi and its about time we opened our eyes and hearts
  21. were you part of the heroic jatha that 'raided' the Ravidasi gurdwara ?
  22. fair enough but then why do they become Hindu be default ?
  23. You are an <banned word filter activated> these people are Sikhs albeit imperfect ones why is it that we say that we are totally delinked from Hindus and yet any Sikh we perceive not being a 'proper' Sikh by defauly becomes Hindu ?
  24. what a mental theory didnt Sangat Singh also have an equally wild theory about the Nehrus being from the family of Ganga the cook of the Tenth Master
  25. how many people are truly unaware of what caste they belong to it appears in India that no quom has been able to get rid of caste and mabye it never will but even if the identity does not disapear at the very least there should be no discrimination based on caste - This has been reflected by the rise of parties in India like the BSP who now rule UP In Punjab we dont have the same assertion Look at the recent elections in Punjab - In a state with 55% Sikhs and about 40% Hindus we had 9 of 13 MPS elected were Sikhs we have a Jat component of about 30% of the population and yet are almost 70% of the representation This is reflected in all parts of the system in Punjab
