  1. Dr. Surinder Singh jee must now be in Vahiguru jee’s feet, absorbed in naam and basking in the divine colours but I can never forget the twenty years of love he gave me. He spoke very little. He was always coloured in naam and vairaag and in Gurmat Smaagams, he would always be sitting apart, lost in naam. My First Meeting 20 years have passed now. It was 10 at night and it was winter. It was very cold and in those days I pulled a rickshaw to support my family. Bhai Sahib (Dr. Sahib) in this bitter cold was dressed only in a simple chola. He was wearing no pyjama and on his feet he had regular shoes. His face was glowing with naam. He was already handsome because of his light complexion and because of the naam his face was reflecting, I was drawn to meet him. Blessed are Guru Gobind Singh jee’s Singhs who do not feel cold even in the dead of winter. I was returning home but I was drawn to this person. I began to take my rickshaw behind him. I did not have the courage to speak to him but I had a deep desire to serve him by carrying him in my rickshaw and take him to where he was going. After some time, Bhai Sahib’s glance fell on me and Vahiguru jee gave me the strength to utter Vahiguru jee kaa Khalsa, Vahiguru jee kee fateh! Bhai Sahib, slowly in a sweet voice, answered my Fateh and came to stand by my rickshaw. I humbly requested, Bhai Sahib jee, let me take you on my rickshaw to where you want to go. Where are you going? I feel like doing your seva. Bhai Sahib did not reply and after silently standing for two minutes, he got on the rickshaw. Bhai Sahib was going from the Jagraon bridge to Bharat Nagar Chownk. After Bhai Sahib had gotten on, I did not have the courage to ask where he was going because Bhai Sahib was lost in the deep colours of naam. I gathered my courage and began to take the rickshaw to Bharat Nagar Chownk. I had just gotten to the Chownk when Bhai Sahib told me to go to a home behind the New Model Town Singh Sabha Gurdwara Sahib. In those days, Bibi Mahinder Kaur used to live in this house. I arrived in front of the house and then Bhai Sahib motioned for me to come with him inside. I was astonished and began to follow him. There was a water hand-pump beside the door. Bhai Sahib began to pump and had me do a punj-ishnana and with his hands, motioned for me to accompany him in. I put the rickshaw near the hand-pump. Bhai Sahib went straight to the kitchen. The Divine Milk in Sarbloh Bhai Sahib spread a mat and asked me to sit down. I sat crossed legged with my hands folded together. For such a long time Bhai Sahib boiled milk in a Sarbloh bata and played in Vahiguru’s divine colours. For over an hour his consciousness was completely absorbed. I was bound by his order to sit but was getting anxious to go home because I was tired from pulling a rickshaw all day. When a big bata of milk was brought to me, I began to drink and right away I began to be coloured in naam. Some divine colour came over me. My simran began to go automatically. My body began to feel like it was flying. My eyes filled with tears of vairaag and I was losing consciousness. After some time when I regained awareness, Bhai Sahib put a bata of kheer in front of me. As soon as I had eaten this, I completely lost consciousness and had no awareness of where I was. Bibi Mahinder Kaur’s Pain When I became conscious again after some time, I found that Bibi Mahinder Kaur, the person who was in the house, was feeling pain in her stomach. She could not bear the pain. Bhai Sahib knew about medicine and he gave her some medicines but none brought her peace. I had an idea and remembered how Bhai Sahib before giving me the milk and kheer had gazed into the milk for such a long time and as a result, it was also coloured in divine colours. I took some water and after gazing into it while doing sirman, gave it to Bibi jee and she felt better. Bhai Sahib Asked, Why did you do that?? Bibi jee felt better but the feeling of divine colours left me. Bhai Sahib saw how sad I was and asked, Why did you do that? I felt upset over my mistake and began to cry, which would not stop. Bhai Sahib took my hand and kept doing simran beside me. It was now three in the morning. Again, I was taken by the divine colours and Bhai Sahib told me to accept bhaaNaa (God’s will) in the future. Bhai Sahib gave me five rupees and a lot of sarbloh utensils. I told him that I could not afford to use desi ghee but he said to use saro(n) da tael instead. Getting Peshed with My Family With Bhai Sahib’s encouragement, I gave up pulling a rickshaw and took a job at the post office as a guard. From there I became a packer, then a postman then a clerk and today I have received a promotion to Under-Postmaster. My memories of Bhai Sahib have been refreshed today and so I wrote some lines. With Dr. Sahib’s support, my wife and children began to wear the Khalsa’s BaaNa and seeing this, Baoo Mul Singh jee was very happy. He blessed us and had us appear before the punj pyaaray and we became tyaar-bar-tyaar. I am forever bowing my head before Gursikhs like Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee, respected Baoo Mul Singh jee, Dr. Surinder Singh and other high Gursikh souls in Sachkhand and beg, ਦੇਹੁਸਜਣਅਸੀਸੜੀਆਜਿਉਹੋਵੈਸਾਹਿਬਸਿਉਮੇਲੁ ॥੩॥

  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk...ngland-15398841 Butcher force vist UK Indian police officers visit West Midlands Eight police officers from India are visiting the West Midlands. The trip aims to "improve understanding and confidence between local police and Indian communities", West Midlands Police said. The officers will learn more about neighbourhood policing and the use of technology in handling emergency calls during their two week visit. They have spent time in Coventry, Birmingham and Solihull. 'Law-abiding citizens' The officers will also visit the Institute of Criminology in Cambridge and have been to University of Warwick as part of their trip, which has been funded by the Indian Police Service. Each officer, from various states in India, has completed between 17 and 20 years of service. Insp General Janardhan said: "We have all enjoyed the visit and been impressed with the punctuality and professionalism shown by our hosts. "Most citizens here appear to be law-abiding with a good level of support for their police and also plenty of civic pride."

  9. The Following great Bachan By Baba Attar Singh jee, applies to such people as the Tarmla cult and others who cheaply trying to sell there Kamaaee and make Sikhee into a magic show. (Sant Attar Singh Reru Sahib wale, the best Mahapurakh of Hoti Mardaan Samprada) Sant Attar Singh jee Reru Sahib, once said a very great Bachan to Sant Ishar Singh Rara Sahib wale. (If a Gursikh has a spiritual earning of one mann (40 Kilos), he should not exhibit (show off) even one iota of it. But soon such time is coming when people will have spiritual earning of one iota but display one mann of it.) How great Sant jee's Bachan is and how true his foretelling has been. May Guru Sahib save us from Haume and cheap exhibition of Kamaaee. By Kulbir Singh http://gurmatbibek.c...ead.php?3,16435

  13. Every week some Amritdhari has this issue on the gupt section. It getting sad to see The Piteous State of Today's Sikh Youth If we notice a Gursikh, who has taken Amrit of Guru Sahib and becomes so attracted to the member of opposite sex that he (or she) can only think of her and can't live without her, then surely such person was never in love with Guru Sahib. Every now and then we hear of a Gursikh brother or sister, shamelessly declaring that he or she will die unless he or she marries such and such person. How did a Gursikh end up at such stage? Wasn't he an Amritdhari to begin with? How did he violate such a strict order of Guru Sahib of considering other-women as mothers, sisters and daughters? Our youth now-a-days has reached such state that it has no hesitation or shame before openly communicating with the members of opposite sex. Today they start chatting with someone, tomorrow they start sharing their problems with each other, the day after tomorrow they develop feelings for each other and soon they are going out. Even at Kirtan Samagams where countless Gurmukhs are engaged in praising the true Lord, some of the misled youth are overcome with Aashiqaana feelings (Amorous feelings). The high, impregnable character of Khalsa youth has taken such a beating. Today if you look around, you can count on your fingertips such individuals who have not been stained by entering into relationships before marriage. The Internet has really shrunk the world. Today, if something occurs in the Sikh community in one country, it quickly spreads across the globe. If a young male or female commits an act of transgression, then the reputation of such individual is stained for life. Once one's character gets stained, it's hard to build it back. Gursikhs must rise above the Maya of this world and maintain strong Khalsa character. The time of marriage and the partner for life has already been chosen by Vaheguru. So relax and stop hunting for your life partner on your own. A Sikh youth who keeps strong character, keeps Sikhi Rehit is always in demand as far as marriage is concerned. A youth who starts hunting for a life partner on his own, soon gets his character stained and before he or she realizes, it's too late. No one is saying that we should become a segregated society like the Muslims and keep Purdah and don't talk with each other at all. What's required is to know our limits. Far too many Kaam-related mistakes are being committed by our youth because of their proximity to members of opposite sex. May Guru Sahib do Kirpa and enable his Sikhs to keep a strong moral character on which Guru Sahib can be proud of.
  14. Anyone have the full dhadhee vaar?
  15. I was sent this list of incidents by a person who received bruises from the police. In no particular order 1. Party People purposely opened the door and starting blasting bhangra 2. One of them brought a plate of meat out and starting eating in front everyone 3. Mercedes pulled up at start of protest transferring booze into hall 4. Numerous singhs dastaraa were knocked off by police 5. The police would push, hit with baton then tell you to move back 6. Singhs were given dead legs after getting hit with batons 7. Party person purposely came out and said " come on singhs take a good photo of me" 8. So called "Amritdhari" bibiaa making meat inside centre for party people. 9. Singhs beards were yanked and pulled on purpose. There was no need for some of the above incidents, especially from the party people There is footage of most above incidents, Which Video guys will release. I don't know when though.
  16. Seems biased http://www.dudleynew...Dudley_protest/ A MAJOR investigation has been launched after 200 militant protesters complaining about meat and alcohol being consumed at a Dudley Sikh community centre wrecked the place and attacked the police. After the dust settled after the major public disorder, two members of the public were in hospital with head injuries as was a policeman who had head injuries, all three are in a stable condition whilst another police officer sustained dental injuries. Violence erupted at around 12.45pm at a community centre on Swancote Road when 200 militant protesters forced their way into the building. Chief Inspector Deb Doyle, who led the police response to the disorder, said: "What started as a peaceful protest soon turned to violence when a minority of people started throwing missiles at officers and then forced their way inside the centre. "Once inside they have vandalised the building and refused to leave until the centre managers agreed to ban the supply of meat and alcohol on the premises. "I would urge those responsible for the violence to hand themselves in to their local police station immediately or face officers arresting them at home in the very near future." Roads around the building were closed for five hours to allow emergency services access to the site, while the force helicopter hovered overhead capturing the incident on camera. Officers from across the force attended the incident to restore order and assist in negotiations between protesters and the centre's management. A coach was allowed into the area under police escort to remove legitimate centre users to safety. Protesters ended their occupation of the building at around 6pm when centre managers agreed to ban the supply of meat and alcohol on the premises. Significant damage was caused to the inside of the community centre which remains cordoned-off this evening while specialist forensic examiners search for evidence. CCTV footage has been seized and officers will soon begin the process of scouring through the hours of footage to identify those responsible for the violence. A 28-year-old man arrested on suspicion of violent disorder was later released on police bail bending further enquiries. Damage was also caused to a car parked outside the centre when the coach evacuating centre users scraped its side. Anyone with information on those responsible for the disorder and vandalism should call Dudley police on 0345 113 5000. Alternatively, people who do not wish to speak to police officers directly can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
