  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Dhur Ki Bani is such a cool app, Buddhadal. I totally forgot to mention it yesterday and remembered earlier;). iNitnem is really nice too, but does there happen to be a version with English? I have yet to learn Gurmukhi..
  2. Fateh! I am a new Sikh in Texas and I've been trying to find some Sikhi related events here in Texas, keertans, Gurdwaras to visit, etc. I haven't really been able to find anything yet, or much information on the bigger gurdwaras in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and so on.. Does anyone know of any events here or have information on the larger gurdwaras programs? Their websites are usually outdated
  3. There is one called "Tell me about Sikh gurus" or something like that, which is quite nice
  4. It's perfectly reasonable to ask if you may have more time to decide, meet and talk with the girl more, etc. I've noticed that girls parents (often the mothers ) can be very excited and impatient to know for sure if you want to marry their daughter or not.. So express your interest if any to her and her parents, so they know whether or not, but don't decide completely until you feel comfortable. You may not feel 100% comfortable, but if she seems to be a good match, then go for it and don't let any nervousness change your feelings
