yeh i heard it was a bust up with Sangat tv. One of the main owners of Sangat Tv didnt like the idea of another channel filming the Nagar Kirtan and decided to beat him up infront of the Guru Ghar. Two dissapointing factors here being, One: the guy who got beat up was fairly old, Two: everybody watched and nobody stopped. I think Sangat tv thought they had sole rights to film the event. Well done Sikh tv who also have shown the event first.

go to the sant and tell him what happened before he asks you. Then ask for forgiveness if you did anything wrong. It seems that you done well if you tried to stop yet another so called gyani txting or chatting on tabiya. dont worry about it if you havent done anything wrong the sant will guide you if you went wrong so next time it wont happen again. They live in a fashion that is not common with everybody else, they dont mind living dirty, having children with no clothes on thier back running around also dabbing in a bit of black magic and bowing to many idols. Neemay Jath is a way of life not an person who is classed different beacuse of colour creed or religion etc. Neemay jath de bandae have alwalys been around even from the gurus days, there not bad people but they tend to live on the border of hinduism sikhism, no mans land basically and are lost to identity. So they get put into a caste system from the hindu side but they mattha tek to Sggs because they have no granth. Why then is this a sikh problem the whole world matha teks to Sggs, i for one am glad they finally got around to organising a sect of thier own so they dont get classed as sikh. Why should the panth have to answer for them if they dont want to be part of it. They will never take amrit its too extreme for them, this is why they either convert to christianity or remain in no mans land. Im not desputing the fact that discrimination does not happen, it does, but it happens so the system doesnt change.

When we met him at Jyoti sahib dera we also noticed he could have come in the brand new buses and cars that people donated.... Dedicated his whole life to seva, words from another Mahapurakh.

i dont feel im denying the fact its a problem within the punjabi community. It a cultural problem with the punjabi community nothing to do with sikhi. It would be a problem with sikhi if singhnia were doing it. The panth and anyone in it is my family, sure i will protect and serve the rest of humanity thats the khalsa way. But i dont feel getting invlolved in romantic relationships with pakistan/muslim males and indian girls with no love for sikhi at all (except when they need help from vaheguru with exams or need a bit of luck) will make this issue less of a problem. Brother ive been in the situations were mothers approached us and said get a daughter back, when we go to the location we then get made to look like idiots because she's in this magic fairyland that is bollywood love stories. People who are born into sikh families are luckiest in the world, if they decide no to follow the panth and decide to entangle themselves with lust and other desires thats entirely their choice and i for one am fed up being <Edited> off with slaggy indian girls doing what they want, then coming to singhs singhnia for help or getting labelled as sikhs when they mash up. If they want to learn the hard way and or have the "modern era and get with the times attitude" or even "everyones doing it attitude" then so be it. What ive realised is that if you dont go to the pubs clubs and gigs you wont get into the troubles associated with it, simple. Sardari was given to us by Guru Gobind Singh ji, and he told the panth at the time that if your not the one to do much jap tap, dont worry i will give you another chance to achieve salvation (if you take amrit) but what ever you do the Sardari im giving you must be kept with the highest prestige, be careful with it. And im afraid people are throwing that sardari in the bin for the sake of culture, and so they are not sikh but indian when that happens.

i heard this on sikh sangat along time ago and her name was mentioned, and she wasn't no sikh at all more like a low caste hindu with a punjabi name. Infact we shouldn't call her sikh as it sends out the wrong signal ie: a singhni was dating a muslim. A singhni is a sikh, not someone who was born in a sikh family and cuts hair, eats meat dates boys etc etc. we should refer to her as an indian girl.

Vjkk vjkf. Yesterday the month of maagh began. This is a very special month for spiritual progression so do as much naam simran, seva, sangat, read gurbani, listen to kirtan and katha !! Try your utmost to do as much sikhi kamaai as possible and please forward to all. There is a reason to why if bani and seva done in this particular month will count as tenfold I will post asap.

How can you say what sant is high and which is not to your standard. What a pathetic and very childish post. Only a bramhgyani knows a bramhgyani only a gurmukh knows a gurmukh. To label some Sants better than others is very annoying and to ask others to do the same is maha paap. Obviosly you have no real attachment to a jeevan of a sant but just to be associated with a recognized sant will make your jeevan better, you feel. You have no understanding of what a sant is so please feed your brain with some knowledge of what it takes to do sangat with saints before you rush in and find your celebrity status saint. VJKK VJKF Pyaari sadh sangat jio, there is a sant smagam happening in wednesfield Guru Ghar this saturday. its from 6 to 10ish. Sant Hari singh Randhava will be attending also Sant Balbir Singh. I have just seen the poster, i will update this post when i get the full details as to who will also be there. The guru ghars commitee isnt that computer friendly otherwise they would have posted here earlier. so we thought we should post it on here to let others know also. the previous sant smagam in july was a very chardi kala event and im expectiong this to follow in the same way hope to see you there VJKK VJKF

thanks to everyone who attended i cant believe the turnout.
