hi paaji, my opnion is as long as u both love each other, maybe later on she may give up eating meat and th drink thing. why dont u try to talk to her about it, and how u feel, why are u asking other people if it is bad? If somebody asked u to jump off a cliff, would u? Noooo right, the decision is urs, and u have not amrit shak yet, so u may persuade her to stop eatin meat n drinkin too. Express ur opnions and views to her, wat do u want? As far as from wat i know if one partner is amritdhari then the other tends to become too, apologise if anybody is different. dont take this lightly as takin amrit is not a game. If u love each truly then im sure there maybe some sacrifices to be made. Hope all goes well..

"Jan Nanak jaat paat" or something like this it is read from gurbani, i searched SGGJ online and cannot find these words anywhere, just others like it, but one of my friends went to gurdwara and pathi read them so need to know the rest of the lines too, and wat it means. thanku...

somebdy said to me 2day that its because we spend say like 8hrs sleeping, and then like half hour or 1 or 2 only praying, then th rest on worldly thoughts and daily life, so our minds are pre-occupied most of the time in other things thats why its hard to do path and those thoughts seem to cme forward from wat we spend time on most. but im not sure if i agree with that, it happens to me too alot, at first i used to think that if our thoughts were perfect and had full devotion towards god then we wouldnt be in this world. somebody else says its hard to be human n not have thoughts like that, even giani's and people that do lot of path have these thoughts, as nobody but god is perfect. I too would like to know why it happens and why doesnt it stop?

i would also like to say, mybe it will offend some people that we should not say bad to other cultures, if we got nothing good to say then say nothing at all, as i thought sikhi was about everybody being equal, even thou i dont like her cheeka, at least she is singing somthing diffrnt from daru songs.

i agree with u too, but some ppl have help me on this site, which im happy abt, normally everybody says "rab ne karna jo kuch krna" n leave it at that. I get th feeling a lot of people are being sikh for themselves only, to swarh their own karm and thats it.
