  1. the caste system is engrained in the indian people and culture to such an extent that its nearly irreversible..even muslims and christians practice caste system in india regardless of what they tell you....the only way this will change is when people accept khalsa as their jaat...caste system itself was not a problem when it was optional and you could move between jaat...but now its become hereditary and a hierarchy was established which has made it opressive and corrupt...the only way to break hereditary allegiance to jaat is by inter-marrying between sikhs

  3. To serve someone in their bhagti regardless of panth/faith/religion is worthy of respect
  4. dear o dear...what can we expect when sikhs give up their faith in sikhi so easily
  5. Terrible...its about time everytone gets involved in some form of parchaar when they are in punjab...no point going there and sitting in the pind..need western well knowledged gursikhs going over and bringing sikhi to the masses... there is no high and low caste in the sikh panth..there is only one caste and that is kshatri khalsa...no distinction within the khalsa at all...all are equal...these punjabi pendus are dragging sikhi in the mud
  6. bro you cant compare warfare of today with that of the ancient world... you speak of drunk soldiers...but you seem to forget one of the most successful armies and empire in the world..the mongol empire...their warriros before battle would drink fermented mares milk...im not encouraging alcohol..but im saying each warrior culture had their own substances in their traditions to enhance their warrior capabilities
  7. Another hillarious conspiracy theory bro....like the nihangs would deviate from the gurus path and traditions...thats insulting...they would fight and die for the maryada...but then they would change it?...doesnt make sense...just baseless conspiracy theories thrown at nihang singhs
  8. Great Post!...but watch the reformists attack you now P.S And Thank You Moderators for Taking me off Quality Control...Much Appreciated!
  9. isnt about time i was taken off quality control
  10. India is just shooting itself in the foot....no one ever forgets it martyrs...
  11. i agree peoples rehat is no ones buisness...comparing how long our nitnem is with others...just encourages arrogance
  12. anyone taking degh to get high is a pakhandi...anyway only chakarvarti tyaar bar tyaar singhs should be consuming degh as they should be constantly prepared for jung...singhs living gristi jeevan shouldnt really be consuming it in my opinion
  13. i agree totally...jathedars of bhudda dal ran akaal takht before ths corrupt SGPC came about...the panth was better off under the dal...just look at the situation of sikhi then and now...shame most peope dont accept that fact
  14. We cannot all be in the same boat bro...as some do not accept dasam pitas bani in its entirety..some do not accept sri sarbloh granth and some do not accept puraatan khalsa traditions.....tell me how can we be in the same boat with all these differences?.....Our situation is more divided than sunni-shia...we just dont kill each other like they do...No hate to fellow sikhs..just mistrust bro....Trust me i am not a niddarist...i just accept authority of sri aad guru granth, sri dasam granth, sri sarbloh granth, puraatan sikh granths and oral traditions of nihang singhs...to me that is sikhi....from experiences of keeping sangat with some singhs i wont mention..i would say nihangs and there maryada is the most hated group in sikhi...they are continoulsy mocked and insulted...when someone decides to oppose it...people turn on them...saying they are nangs, .its about time we removed this hatred of nihangs from the panth...because at the end of the day...guruji handed over to akaalis in form of guru khalsa panth... my post is not against you bro..its against the haters of the dal...and they know who they are...my u-turn has come from my own research...so dont blame it on ignorance or misguidance....gurfateh
  15. bro mughal soldiers were ardent users of hashish....many mughal soldiers were shia who had a tradition of using bhang ...this practice originated from the traditions of the Hashashins...the tradition remained prevalent in persia/central asia until baburs soldiers brought the tradition into india when he invaded...so yes mugal armies did use it....armies in those days needed narcotics...their was no such thing as morphine back then..and battles were alot more hand-to-hand...so many wounds was expected many other successful armies to use narcotics...romans, greek and macedonian armies, , various indian warrior groups, nomadic steppe warriors(mongols), samurai etc...i could go on and on...the thing that actually brought me in favour of hunting, chatka and shaheedi degh was studying warrior cultures around the world...the traditions are so similar its astounding....you can not deny or falsify our warrior traditions. actually some of the kharkoos from dal panth consumed shaheedi degh...the best example...is shaheed bhai avtar singh bhrama nihang....its best not to mention kharkoo movement as an xample gainst saheedi degh...because they ultimately were defeated..whereas puraatan singhs who were consumers of shaheedi degh eventually defeated a asian superpower of that time..the mughals and another point bro..naam simran/gurbani alone cannot win you wars...thats wishful thinking....the khalsa does not sit down and wish...it plans and prepares...gurbani and naam is a part of that preparation...but only one part of it
  16. i wish to fool no one..its people like you who are doing the fooling and brainwashing....you have a choice...either practice pre british puraatan sikhi or practice post singh sabha movement sikhi....if you follow reformed sikhi....then you might aswell stop claiming puraatan singhs as your own because they would regard what you believe as heretical...your history begins at beginning of singh sabha movement...so start off there..and forget everything that happened before that
  17. Waheguru is Creator, Preserver and Destroyer....Waheguru not only creates and preserves his creation but also destroys his creation...at times this destruction comes through the sword..and that is hukam...when you begin stating somthing is right or wrong...you begin bringing in abhrahamic uderstanding of dharam in...where either something is godly or somethig is from the devil(evil)... The issue is not with use of force..but when force is used when their is no need...when we use the means of destruction when there is no need for it...the issue is not aout violence but more to do with imbalance of these three qualities.. There are times where you need to create and preserve and then times when you need to destroy...to say destruction is evil..is to state waheguru is also evil
  18. yes i remember that commment...i contacted hiim on facebook and he blocked me....
  19. 4 castes = Bhramin, Kshatriya, Vaish, Shudra 4 ashrams = 4 traditional stages in a persons spiritual journey 0-21 Brahmacharya/Student: The celibate student time of youth is for learning the foundation of lifestyle. The focus is on healthy, positive training and discipline, learning about spiritual, community, and family life. 21-42 Grahasta/Householder: The householder phase of life is when one lives with spouse and children, fulfilling worldly interests and duties. It is a time of giving, living, learning, and loving in family and community. Religious or spiritual practices are done in the context of worldly life and service to others. 42-63 Vanaprastha/Hermitage: This is a time for shifting focus more towards more inner spiritual practices of meditation, contemplation, and prayer. Relationships with grown children and community are more in the role of a matured mentor. Lifestyle is more simplified, and the couple may retreat to a quieter place for deeper practices. 63-84+ Sanyasa/Renunciate: The elder person now retreats from active involvement in all worldly goals, seeking only spiritual goals in this final phase. No longer having political, professional, or social engagements, there is a further shift towards being an elder teacher of spiritual knowledge.
  20. if you have any knowledge on puraatan kashatriya traditions, rajputs etc..you would know maany indian martial groups used it......in other parts of the world warriors also used different forms of narcotics to aid in battle....the zulus used a plant extract nativee to their land against the british...historians claim that was a pivotal reason why zulus continued charging the british at islandwana after taking thosuands of casaulties..it heigtened their agrression and numbed their pain...same can be said for pagan european cultures, including gauls, germanic tribes etc...so the use of narcotics for war is a very old tradition used universally by warrior cultures also you have never lived a nomadic life like the nihangs are encouraged to live...to live chakarvarti is extremely tough...and all the people telling chakarvarti nihangs not to consume it while sitting in their heated homes with a full stomach and a comfy bed...just hang your heads in shame dont be one of those nutjobs who think puraatan khalsa were supermen, with flying abilties and with no sensitivty to pain...please wake up and come to the real world...puraatan khalsa used anything in their means to survive...ANYTHING...
  21. i agree with alot of your post bro..except a few parts...sure nihang singhs can be wrong and are not perfeect..but the maryada they follow and protect is the original perfect maryada followed by puraatan singhs...that maryada is authentic and to spread conspiracy theories around stating otherwise is wrong....the fact is the nihangs were at one time the mainstream....sikhi was much betteer off back then..maybe its time all sikhs return to their nihang roots
  22. lets not make assumptions now...we dont want to go there and maharaaja ranjit singh never actually got lashed...it was more to acknowledge and respect the authority of shriomani akaali bhudda dal and the akaal bunga...the punishment was receded after he acknowledged his mistake to jathedar akaali phoola singh ji
  23. i have to agree with that...once someone becomes bitter about a people or a faith..its very hard to turn them back
  24. there is no such thing as sikhism...its sikhi and its definately not a religion
