A Devi that could not protect herself from the Daints is hardly likely to protect the Khalsa! If Devi gave Satguru the powers, then Guru Ji would've clearly chanted: DEVI JI KA KHALSA! DEVI JI KI FATEH... SATGURU WORSHIPPED THE CREATOR; NOTHING ELSE!......

KALKA ARADHEE.... Guru Maharaj says that he is the ARADHEE (devotee) of KAAL ( creator). You need to separate the KA from KAALKA, otherwise you'll fall into the wrong trap. SGGS says that Devi is incapable of giving MUKHTI. Why would GURU SAHIB worship something other than the creator? Why would MARD AGAMDA invoke a female for sanctuary? What protection can a Devi give GURU SAHIB; the Devi, who herself, ran scared from Daints? GURU SAHIB would never contradict SGGS.....

Have the EDL or BNP condemned this attack? If not, why not?....

Since the marriage was under the ageis of SGGS Ji then it stands to reason that when things go pear shaped both parties should seek guidance from SGGS Ji. The person who walks out without taking shelter from Gurbani can be considered to be wrong. The party that wants to keep the marriage intact with Guru Ji's help will have Guru Ji on their side. My wife goes through quite a lot of discomfort during period. She finds it difficult to concentrate on Nitnem etc. generally she feels very on edge during those days. Could this be a reason? Just wandering.

Could the lack of media coverage/attention be a result of the fact that India is a tiger economy? Britain/USA are now bedfellows with India? Britain is dependent on India in terms of trade etc? I feel that a protest against middle eastern countries by Uk based dissidents would have definitely attracted more coverage. We live in a money driven world. The only way we Sikhs will attract sympathy is if we become affluent enough to have an impact on the western economy. Human rights don't seem to matter unless atrocities are committed against the dissidents of a country that the west wants to destroy.

First and foremost I would like to state that this is my own experience and I do not not wish to offend anyone regarding whether this is Gurmat or not. My aplologies in advance if my experience was anti Gurmat. When I was about eleven my father used to take me to the Gurdwara sahib in the evenings , I didn't since I enjoyed the atmosphere. I would sit throughbthe sermons not really understanding much of what was being said. Most of the time I would just sit there thinking of school or playing etc. When evening I was sat in the sangat which was only a few men and women and a thought came into my mind. I started thinking "does God really exsist?"..... I pondered on this thought for a while totally oblivious to the kirtan at the time. All of a sudden I reached into my jacket pocket and took out a dice that I had been playing with at home. I closed my eyes and said that if God exsists then let the rolled dice number be 1. I closed my eyes and rolled the dice thoroughly and threw it on the floor , not too far though. When I opened my eyes the number on the dice was 1. I repeated this process several times by closing my eyes , rolling the dice and asking for a spefic number. In each and every case the dice showed the desired number. Many years later my wife and I were at a Gurdwara sahib in India. I began to doubt Sggs for some reason. With this in my mind for days I went to sleep that night with the thought that if Sggs is truly Guru then there was a particular book that I needed but I could not get it at the time , so I said in my mind that if Sggs is the true Guru then show me a sign by putting that book in my room directly. I fell asleep , my wife got up before me. When I came out of the shower she showed me a book that had been left outside our door. She was puzzled but no one claimed to have put it there and no one claimed that it was meant for anyone else. I had a humbling feeling that I am being shown something here. Are these mere coincidences? I feel that there is something more... The really sad fact is that even after the dice incident at the age of 11 iI went onto drinking , smoking , etc... My hair was cut already at that time. I am now in rehat with GuruJi's mercy. My own experience , so please forgive for anything wrong that I have said. "Sabb jyot teri jag jeevna".

My friend Is there any evidence of the paati's alcohol story? Are there any eye witnesses who can testify? I can only support you if there is proof of this misconduct.

I for one want to see high standards in all Gurdwaras in all towns. If we approach the committee now they will reject this by asking for proof. Is there any eye witness proof of the paati's accusation? Without evidence we won't be able to put a case forward. If any commitee refuses to disclose accounts then what options are available to the sangat. A new commitee could be formed to oust the existing. Like minded people have to come forward. There are plenty of well educated high standard Gursikhs in the community now , they must join forces before the rot sets in. Turning a blind eye to beadbi in Gurdwara will make things even worse in the future and even harder to combat. Any misconduct has to nipped in the bud. Please inform of evidence of misconduct so that the president can be informed. Without evidence they will say that people on here are just lying.
