  1. Can someone kindly answer this question please. When doing Kirtan you can recite any shabad from Sir Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and kirtanis use Amrit Kerrtan to do it, I have always wondered why is an Amrit Keertan so small? As in does it contain all the shabads in Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji? And if it doesn’t then why not?
  2. Basically me and my brother booked a check up after one another, and when my check up was finished i stayed in the room, and my brother had his, then i noticed he used the same mirror thing on him as well. And before it was my turn, the person who had their appointment, walked out and within 5seconds they called my name ;/
  3. When we get a check up done at the dentist, the little mirror thing they use to check your teeth, i highly doubt that they clean it after ever check up. What can we do?? And other dentist equipment, daas dost not feel right going to the dentist now.
  4. Recently I went to Sir Harminder Sahib, it was an amazing feeling. But I was also upset because, When Guru Ji is brought from Akal Takhat to Harminder Sahib, there is always pushing and shoving from the sangat so they can get Darshan. Should This be done? As a member of the sangat should i also push to get darshan. Or let everybody push me and get to the back of the sangat, not having Guru Jees Darshan? This also happens in Nagar Kirtans, and other Gurdwars. Forgive me if i have said anything wrong.
  5. Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh Recently on one of the Sikh Radio Channels i heard a Shej Paath were a Gursikh Was saying a line of Bani, and then the sangat was repeating it. (studio recording) Does anybody know where i can download this from? Or any other Shej Paath which daas can repeat.
  6. but then shouldnt we also stand up when reading bani?
  7. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh There is no correct time for Ardaas, You can do Ardaas whenever you like. Basically ardaas is a request, so you do ardaas requesting Guru ji to forgive you for any mistakes you have made during the Bani. In Gurudwara they mostly do rehraas, and then ardaas then hukanaman. As in the Ardaas they mostly say “Hukamnama Naal Sangat No Nihal Karo” (Amaze the Sangat with your hukam) You can also do an ardaas whenever and wherever. Because Guru Ji is always with you. It can be a request to Guru Ji, BUT NEVER A DEMAND! It also says in Rehat that you should always perform ardaas before undertaking a task. So when reading Bani, ardaas is done after. And when undertaking a task ardaas should be done before! DAAS ALSO HAS A QUESTION ON ARDASS. WHY DO WE STAND UP IN ARDAAS? CAN WE DO IT SITTING OR DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE STANDING UP AND WHY???
