Thanks for trying to comapre Sikhi with otehr religions.

Bottom line is, Sikhi is lyk no other! No otehr religion is based on simplicity and the way it focuses on naam (bible mentions yahweh as the name.. quran as allah etc) yet theese religions failed to spred thsi name suficiently. I respect muslims/christians and dat, im not saiyng they wrong.. im saying Sikhi managed to do something that otehr ones TRIED.

Sikhi is literally a way of life, to becuma perfect human being.. to becuma KHALSA.

We respect the SHABAD GURU, NOT THE INK AND PAPER.

Btw, all the scriptures in islam/hinduism/christianty etc are written from otehr people.. But Guru Granth Sahib Ji, is guru Ji;s OWN accounts. With Their OWN writting. Own Words.

On the same note as the previous post be WGKK WGKF.. what about chidlren who die just before/after their birth?

my own experience and own opinion:

Eat less: If we eat less, then our metabolism rates (break down of fats) will be sufficient enough to keep us healthy and active. Fat people become.. well..fat due to their metabolism rates not being fast enought to reach the higher demands. Also, this is Kalyug, famine could happen, and so if we are USED to eating loads, we won't be able 2 survive! - But people who dont eat much inthe first place.. they cant survive that extra bit.. more naam jap!

Me - I just eat enough to fill my stomach.. not too much to feel sick

Sleep Less: When we sleep, we don't do anything useful..leading to less naam jap. Plus, this is Kalyug, robberies happen everywhere, esp while the owners are asleep. If we sleep less, we can protect our homes for longer during the night. eg: If u sleep for only 6 hours.. only 6 hours out of 24 are ur weakest times.. as comapred to someone who sleeps as much as 10-12.

Sleeping too much also leads to tiredness.

Me - I learnt to sleep no more/no les than 7 hrs.. for me, this is enough for my body to rest, but not too much to feel tired for the rest of the day.

Talk Less: Hmm.. when we talk we tend to show our weaknesses to the outside world. Not good, since this is Kalyug. Nowadays even borhters go against eachother. Talking too much is also waste of energy, why not use that energy to do naam jap.

I'm thinking try to compare daily lives of muslims and sikhs, with good representatives (not like a non-practising sikh v's propa good muslim.. if u get me)

like compare nitnem wid namaaz etc etc..

..then people can see that sikhi and islam are different religions

rahao means capital. lyk the rahao of england is london

it indicates the capital of the shabad, ie: the capital, the main theme of the shabad. the whiole shabd revolves around this couplet

so it makes sense to sing this line as the chorus

but wen there isnt any.. then all the lines in the shabad r equal, so ti dusnt mrelly matter which 1 is the chorus.

eg of rahao used:

in sukhmani sahib..

SUKHMANI SUKH AMRIT PRABH NAAM

the psalm of peace, the amrit of peace is prabhu's name

BHAGAT JANA KE MAN BISRAM. RAHAO.

in the company of bhagats, this naam is instiled into ur soul

Whole of sukhmani sahib revolves aroudn this couplet. It makes sense too.
