  1. It is we people/sikhs, who need Sikhee to survive, or better said to get redemption from the cycle of births and deaths. Sikhee does not need us to survive. Sikhee exists by itself. Or let us look at it this way, oxygene is in the atmosphere, irrespective, if we are there to breathe or not. Sikhee is a path, a highway, irrespective of if there is much traffic or not, or even if there is no vehicle at some point. Not because, there are no vehicles going on there, the highway ceases to exist or dissapears. It is always there by His grace, in case some wadbhagee wants to walk through it. We people are so pètty minded, that, out of ignorance, we go to the extent and say: sikhee is dying. Our ignorance has no limits, or, our chit has no heights. Kaliyug is in full motion. Sat Sree Akal.
  2. Is Sikhi dying a slow and excruciating death ? Brother, Sikhee is Amrit, Sikhee is the path towards Him, established by Him. So sikhee can never die. If ever anything dies, it is we the foolish people, we stray away from the path with our growing manmat attitude. Sikhee is like oxygen, with it we can live and survive, without it we are definetely dead. Each one of us should strive to live on the principles of Sikhee according to the teachings in the Bani, otherwise nobody can do that for anybody. And what is that principal of all principles : Ikoankar Satnam Gurparsad Jap Apart from one Wahiguru and His Nao, all else is waste, is koor. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.

  4. A1) Brother, Wahiguru is all forgiveness and prem, these are main expressions or qualities of His nature. It all depends, how much we learn from our mistakes. What is all this about "chaurase ka chakar"? The endless cycle of births and deaths. This is nothing, but His grace, for giving us birth after birth, as chance after chance to improve as human beings, and be pure enough, to attach ourselves to His Lotus Feet, through His bhakti, and then finally merge in Him. He does not ever condemn anyone, it is we, who by our own karam that get nearer or farther away from Him; but, from His side, it is always forgiveness. A2) Once again, the effect of listening kirtan, depends on us, as per if we listen and go through it as parrots, or pay attention to each sat bachan and then act accordingly. All of Gurbani, is just an exercising, for instilling true love and faith within us, to do His bhakti alone, which will take us out from this Mahabhavsagar of Maya, not otherwise. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  5. First of all nobody should be racist. Racist is unjust, for one judges and condemms others just for being of different skin, caste or religion. Racism or discrimination, is a malady which if spreaded, can cause horrible consequences on other human beings. Can you tell me, who chooses before being born, where or how to be born? So if there is no choice here, why to feel hatred for others, just for skin color? Other thing is, for example, you do something wrong or ilegal, then of course, one can judge that person for its wrondoings. Does not the Bani say: SABNA JEEA KA IKO DAATA. SSo, if by the laws of Nature, or Hukum, one is born in a particular country, race or creed, then by being racist, are we not judging Wahiguru´s Hukum with our petty or polluted unhumanity nature? In some way we are stupidily saying, Wahiguru, you have made a mistake, you should made him white, or black, or brown.... Is this not what muslims do, when they kill innocents, in name of their twisted vision of Islam? If so, what is then the difference between us sikhs and them(not all, but mostly), by being unhuman? Just imagine for a second, hites turn out mad ,and say we are going to exterminate all sikhs on the earth. How would you feel about those stupid and unhuman attitudes? So brother, any type of racism or discrimination, is just watering the seeds of hatred in the weak, which if not taken care and allowed, will generate huge production of venom in the hearts and minds of the already weak and beastly humans. Let us be carefull of what we say and think, otherwsie we shall be victims of our own foolish and bloody tendencies. Mind is already receptive to dirt and full of it, let us not add more to it. Do good, be a good human being to all, and let us plant the seeds of tolerance, forgiveness, and acceptance within ourselves, to the diversity and variety of people, culture, caste and creed; for each one is born according to one´s past karam within the laws of His Hukum. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  6. Only fools would and want to convert others to their own dharam. STOP SPREADING HATRED. Why the hell can not we live in peace and respect as human beings? Why the hell the need to overpòwer others? Which foolish and weak gods have told you such nonsense? The person who has injected you with such repulsive poison of hatred and untruth, must be sure under narcotics, which has brought only retardness in your societies and communities, and this has stopped you from being human beings and pushed you to be worse than beasts, always wanting blood .... Moreover, it is a pity, due to the original fool, your perception of the deity you worship, is totally polluted, thus you take that entity as something on your side and against all others, for if he was the real creator, has he not enough sense, or wisdom, for creating people of other dharams, in the sense of having to convert them or kill them? What nonsense is all this? Supreme Truth has to be One. Just as, there is one Sun, or one moon, for all of us, irrespective of our nationality, caste, or creed, or geographic location. The thing is, those who try to convert or kill ohers, are blind, for if they had seen that their deity, the question of converting or kiling would never ever arise, for it is the One Nature in action, in everyone and everywhere. Sikhi, unlike other dharams, does not need to be spreaded, for it is not a religion. Religions are man made. For your kind information, Sikhee is nothing more than, a relation of unconditional faithful love, to the only one Supreme Eternal Truth: WAHIGURU AKAL PURUKH. Sabna jeea ka Iko Daata. Rest is all maya, and koor. For god´s sake, if you all still want to remain full of hatred, you are kindly requested to just get off from this website of Sikh Sangat, and go and vomit somehere else your dirty politics and misinterpretations about sikhee. Sat Sree Akal.
  7. BALANCE SHEET Of LIFE Birth is your Opening Stock. What comes to you is Credit. What goes from you is Debit. Death is your Closing Stock. Your ideas are your Assets. Your bad habits are your Liabilities. Your happiness is your Profit. Your sorrow is your Loss. Your soul is your Goodwill. Your heart is your fixed Assets Your character is your Capital. Your knowledge is your Investment Your age is your Depreciation. And finally : ALWAYS REMEMBER, GOD IS YOUR AUDITOR Have a nice balance sheet of Life
  8. Life is a battle of balance, Balance between attachment and detachment. Attach yourself enough, to feel the "Pain in others". Detach yourself enough, Not to Feel the "Pain inflicted by others”. The more SIMPLE you are, the more GRACEFUL you will be and the less ATTACHED you are, the more PEACEFUL you will be... No matter how many times a snake sheds it's skin it will always be a snake. Remember that before allowing certain people back into your life.

  10. Help - full of kaam. By Guest Paapi Insaan. Brother, though you have commited horrible sins with the help of someone´s wife, yet I can only try to turn your attention towards the Amit Bani, which is the support for all of us sinners, some heavy, some light, but almost all sinners. Following are the Sat bachans of Third Patshahee, so try to seriously contemplate on them, then even a sinner like you can get His bakshish: ਹਉਮੈ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਕਾਟੇ ਸਾਚੁ ਰਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ Houmai Sabh Kilavikh Kaattae Saach Rakhiaa Our Dhhaarae Raam || Egotism and all sins are eradicated, when one keeps the True Lord enshrined in the heart. Guru Jee is saying: keep Him in your heart, means, focus your atention on Him, through His bhakti, then He shall come and stay in your heart, thus all one´s sins shall be wiped away. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  11. Satgur Nanak, right from the begining of Jap Ji Sahib, beautifully tells us: Ik Oankar : There is only one Creator Lord Sat : And that Oankar is Sat, which means Truth. But this Truth, is not like we know here in this world. Guru Sahiban, refers to that one creator Oankar, as Sat or Truth, for it is changeless, permanent and eternal, in that sense is called Sat or Sach. Nam: then with this term or shabad, Guru Sahiban, says that, that Truth is Nam, or say it Sat-Nam, it is the same thing. But Guru Jee, what is telling us, is that, that Oankar, that eternal Truth, is Nam. Nam is not a name, as many could translate it, but if refers to that ultimate supreme changeless truth or creative power, which is Nam. Referring to this statement above, the Bani says: Ekas bin sabh dandh hae. Apart from this One(Nam), everything else is false. Sree Guru Amar Das Maharaj, tells us: ਨਾਮੈ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਹੋਆ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਪੈ ॥ Naamai Hee Thae Sabh Kishh Hoaa Bin Sathigur Naam N Jaapai || Everything comes from the Naam, the Name of the Lord; without the True Guru, the Naam is not experienced. As we see here, He is saying everything comes or is created from the Nam. This creator power or Nam, is also refferred in the Bani as : Sachee Bani, Amrit Bani, Shabad, Dhun, Anhad Shabad, Gurbani, Akath Katha, Hukum, Bhana, Sach... Thus it is impossible to sing adecuately the mahima of this limitless Nam or Shabad, with our limited mind and speech, nay, even toughts fail totally. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.

  13. I agree with you about the feeling of creeping in chopping and eating it, but I just presented it, for I found it as an piece of art. Just to think that even to draw a straight line with a pencil on a paper is difficult for many, and yet there are some, that even with with flour, water, cream, sugar, etc ..... they can make such perfect pieces of art. Just amazing and incredible.
  14. Deep within the self is the Light of God. It radiates throughout the expanse of His creation Through the Guru´s teachings, the darkness of spiritual ignorance is dispelled. The heart lotus flower blossoms forth and eternal peace is obtained, as one´s light merges into the Supreme Light. Guru Amar Das
  15. Brother, I do not know what do you exactly mean by a natural death, but that much I can tell you, we may not forget what exactly Guru Sahiban means, they arte the very embodiment of Wahiguru Akal Purukh, what to say about messengers or Kal, or call it Dharam Rai, all of them are nothing but faithful servants of Guru Sahiban, for nothing can be done without Their Hukum. Guru Sahiban, are the masters of life and death; and unlike us, they are beyond the reach of these cycles, everything happens within Their will and consentment, but as said above, They, are all humility, while being the Highest, they respect and work within the very laws of Nature, established by Akal Purukh. Different thing is, we limited humans fail to recognize what they really are: Wahiguru. Thus we judge or analyze them, with our limited and corrupted intellect. To the OP, I would just say, just keep in mind who Guru Sahiban really are, and then ask yourself if anything can happen without their knowledge or permission. For then it is irrelevant, how they left this plane, for that was under Their will, howsoever it may seem us to be unogical. Of course to us sikhs, all swaroops of Guru Sahiban are utmost dear and lovely, it pains us, if any discomfort happens on them, but brother, that also is by Their will or Hukum. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  16. The main reasons behind the deaths of sikh Gurus, is, abve all to set an example for us humans, that they while being Akal Purukh Himself, abide by the Laws of Nature, unlike us humans, who if get any little power we start manipultaing and become corrupt. And then the second reason, is that, the causes of their deaths are just excuses to leave, for once again, they abide by His Hukum in doing anything. They came for a certain period of time, for a certain purpose, of igniting the prem and sharda in the hearts of us humans, for His Lotus Feet, and to remind us, that only His Name, is permanent and eternal Sach, to which we should attach ourselves, for all else is: futile, inert, temporary and perishable. Sat Sree Akal.
