  1. One of the best posts I have gone through, best in simplicity, best in clarity, and best in contents. Thank you.
  2. Guest Bhujang, the basis of any true dharam is basically same all have a common ground to an extent , but, it is the ignorant blind people who distort the teachings to the level of the highest peak of their stupidity, thus they want segregation and want to convert others to their so called religion and in name of that distorted religion, they start provoking, quarreling, and killing, including terrorism on others. This is more like worshipping the devil himself, for making out beasts of human beings. Just sickening Any faith, any dharam, any religion, if honest, its outcome has natural virtues, such as compassion, tolerance, forgiveness, benevolance for all humanity irrespectively of race, creed, color or nationality. While it may seem to some, hinduism is similar to sikhee, or sikhee a part of wider hinduism.... That s technically wrong. As said before, we may share common ground in terms of goodness to an extent, for that is the base of any faith, otherwise it is Kal/Shaitan worship. The difference mainly between them is that, while one places its worship and faith in multiplicty/ variety, and its goal is very much and at most within the realms of Maya, and though some of our sikh brothers and sisters have partly belief in these deities as forms of Wahiguru. I will not blame them, as that is what is in their present consciouss level. On the other hand, in sikhee, our devotion and love is only for IKO, Paarbraham Wahiguru Akal Purukh, the only changeless and permanent reality since Aad Jugad. Since the very begining when there was nothing, He Akal Purukh was absorbed in Him, in His Shabad form. Later on, when creation took place, and with the aid of Maya, all these varities of deities, gods, trinities, devtays, etc appeared, which were created to keep running the creation, for whatever reason it maybe , and so people started taking them as ultimate reality impressed by their fantastic forms and powers. While on the other hand, Wahiguru Akal Purukh came at our human level, as normal humble human beings, without any such impressing bodies or powers, and the best thing is, they were Akal Purukh Himself, yet unlike the avatars of gods, they never allowed any worship of themselves as ultimate Truth, but they told us to only give our love and devotion, to the real Truth of Satnam. That is why in the Bani it says: Ik Oankar Satnam , Satgur parsad jap. Which means, there is only one Lord God, Satnam/Wahiguru Akal Purukh, who is realized by His grace, when we do the jaap of His Nam. Other main distinction is, while their devotion is outward directed there where is Maya, Guru Jee directs our love, and devotion, there where He is, means within ourselves, there where He is permanently, and in due time reach His abode of Sach Khand, beyond all paraphernalia creation of dizziling Maya, with its variety and multiplicity. So as per the title of this thread, why are we not hindus? The answer is: why should we be? Is not sikhee the most truest to the ultimate reality? Then why take less, if we can have the best? Sikhee iif followed faithfully,is simple and best, for it is a direct highway, to the only realty and Truth: Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  3. It is just sickening and very painful to see these absurd hate crimes. To all those foolish and beast blacks, and to anyone who uses crime for racial reasons, following are the soothing words of a man who was black, yet very much human. O you all sick in mind, racists , learn something from his precious words, "I look to a day, when people will not be judged by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character."— Martin Luther King Jr. —
  4. It is but just normal, that there where is no shame, it is called shameless You definetely have no shame in lying, no shame in trolling, no shame in inflating self ego by proclaiming self importance... is there anything left for which you have not behaved shamelessly. I doubt there is any. You say you are not proving things wrong, but just questioning...what rubbish is that? of course you are questioning to prove it wrong, otherwise you would have agreed and supported.. You are a lost case..... on one hand you say SGGS is true, then on the other hand you say : all your belief is from some story, hundreds of years ago. So mainly but indirectly you are saying SGGS is story of some hundred years ago ......on which people base their belief. Is not that the job a devlish minded beast, to call Gurbani stories of some hundred years? Keep on denying your trolling and lies, but the facts of your lies and nonsense are present in each one of your evil posts . you are not worthy of staying even one minute more , on such a beautiful, peaceful and nice website as Sikhsangat. you are full of yourself, so you need no learning, but neither do we need any of your utter rubbish, so get lost !!!
  5. I have checked but can not see, can´t you provide it, as it is you who has supposedly written it, or is that also asking you too much?
  6. There where? I have not seen them written nor mentioned by you anywhere, please show us where or when.? Thanks.
  7. Can you kindly tell us which stories are you referring? Sangat have faith not by stories but by the Sat Bachan of Guru Jee. Stories are stories, but the Satbachan in Gurbani is the only permanent Truth, and also the means of love, faith and spiritual realization. So stop talking of stories and history to attack the sangat. You have been asked several times, but you always escape and avoid answering about the roots of your nonsense. If you attack almost all the members here....just tell us what do you believe is right and people should do, for if you attack somuch....there must be something in your agenda, so why do not you clearly place your thoughts, instead of first asking us, then putting it down always. Be a man of dignity, come forward with your views, place them before us, no matter how absurd they maybe, but just do not throw the stone and hide your hand. Once again I repeat you, nobody places their faith in stories, but in the Satbachan of Guru Jee only. Stories may or may not confirm anything, but it is the Bachans of Guru Jee which are changeless and eternal, be it any yuga. Just for your kind information see the utmost Truth in the following Satbachans: Ik Oankar Aad Sach Jugad Sach Hae bhee Sach Nanak hosee bhee Sach And the words of Guru Jee are authority by themself, they need no support from any stories. Is that clear enough? Sat Sree Akal
  8. As usual you are cunningly mixing two different things, one is history and the other is SGGS. In which way does one affect the other? It is but just natural people, civlizations, to come and dissapear. The important thing is that which is eternal and unchageable, which Guru Sahiban describe is : Aad Sach Jugad Sach Hae bhee Sach Nanak hosee bhee Sach People and history are relatively important, but the main and most important is Wahiguru Akal Purukh. If He is present nothing more matters. Having said this much, it could be added that you are so wicked and low minded that you can not tolerate and thus question the expressions of love or faith of our dear sikh brothers and sisters throughout the history. You are dry, you have no love nor faith for Akal Purukh, and you wickedly try to put down those who express theirs. We are all to sing the glory of Akal Purukh through Gurbani, everything else is secondary, moreover your nonsense is utter 5hit. Shame shame shame on you.
  9. The title given by you to this thread is absolutely out of sense. Better you sholud have put: Is my trolling and nonsense allowed in Sikh sangat.com? Then see all the anwers you get. To start with, here goes the first reply. GET LOSSSSSTTTTT.
  10. That is what you are by signing it so. The more nonsense you write the more you expose how low minded you are. You have nothing positive to say, you just pour out the inmense dirty rubbish you have within. Will it end some day? How long will you shamelessly keep vomiting your nonsense. Just stop fooling.
  11. You are totally wrong as usual. Gurbani is no story, but Sat Bachan from the supreme authority Guru Sahiban. The Truth of Wahiguru is from the very begining, nothing new about Him can be added or said, Wahiguru is sada sada new and fresh, He does not become old as per your evil thiking, just because Guru Sahiban left in written His apaar mahima for us later generations. Fools think they know more than Guru Sahiban, so they out of utter ignorance question the teachings and call them 300 years ago stories. Only a mentally musla like you, can say such amount nonsense about sikhee. Get lost, shameless
  12. Found the following beautiful piece on principals of sikhee on the net. It is question from a seeker and an answer from an unknown sikh brother. Though it was in 2002, yet I feel it is valid even today. I am just cpoying and pasting it as it is originally. Summary of Question: A Few Questions Category: General Sikhism Date Posted: Wednesday, 10/07/2002 12:53 MDT Sat Sri Akal. I am a sikh boy living in London, UK. I have a few questions which i hope you will be able to answer for me. Firstly.. I have cut hair..does this make me a bad person? I Pray often and i belive in Sikhism a lot and all it's teachings. Secondly..Is it wrong to have a girlfriend? I dont have one at the moment but i was just wondering. Lastly What did our Gurus say about Smoking. Again, i dont smoke but i was just wondering. Thank you very very much! ___________________________________________________________________________ Sat Siri Akal. Does having cut hair make you a bad person? No. It does not make you a bad person. Being a Sikh is not something you are born into, it is a spiritual commitment that you choose. Having cut hair means you haven't committed to the discipline of being a Sikh. But it isn't a question of "bad" or "good." Second: Is it wrong to have a girlfriend? Same issue. For many people, it is not wrong to have a girlfriend. A girlfriend is a very low-commitment proposition. You can have her one week, get rid of her the next. You know? A Sikh lives by honor, discipline and commitment. For a Sikh- a girlfriend isn't possible. A Sikh needs a stronger commitment than that. So - intimate relationships with the opposite sex are reserved only for married people because that type of relationship requires a commitment in order for it to be successful. The Gurus taught that the only intoxicant worth taking was the intoxication of meditating and singing about the Spirit and the Divine. So all intoxicants - including smoking, alcohol, and drugs - are not needed by a Sikh. There are two stages in choosing a spiritual path. One is - hey- I like it. The other is - wow- I'm going to commit to living the discipline in order to transform myself. You like Sikhism. And that's great. Sikhism is a very easy religion to like because it so universal and elevating. But to be a Sikh requiries more than agreeing with its principles. It requires a commitment to the discipline. Otherwise, it's just window-shopping. Keep praying and keep believing, and ask the Guru's guidance. You'll be fine. All love, GPK
  13. Om is the origin of the the trinty of gods such as : Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Om is also Maya, as referred by Guru Jee as mother of these her 3 sons. Om as seen above, should not be confused with Oankar, which are 2 different things. Oankar is Ik, which means the Lord creator is One, and that creator as mentioned by Sree Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj, that Oankar or Lord, is Sat Nam. So Oankar is a description of the only True real being, who is Sat Nam, hence it is this ultimate reality, which Guru Sahiban and Bhagat Jan of the highest rank, mention in the Bani, to give our love and devotion only. While some due due to their karam, aspire at most to Swarg, Baikunth or any other spiritual planes, in sikhee, by following Gurbani implicitly, we aim towards Akal Purukh and Sach Khand, the eternal and changeless realm of ultimate Truth, by Guru Jee´s kirpa. Sat Sree Akal.
  14. Great Bro. So far, best dealing with someone who is constantly avoiding to see what reality is, by having closed himself in a dirty obscured bubble, which keeps him in a constant state of hallucination day and night. He just keeps on asking how or what, sikhs do this or think about that, then he keeps denying any given answers, but the thing is, why the hell, he never says what he thinks about how things should be .... If he is so sure that he is right and we are all wrong, why does he not vomit out for once and all the stupidity, which makes him behave so arrogantly.... Maybe he is afraid, that if he vomits out all the nonsense he has within, he may get a correct diagnose of his malady and get a right medication, which will cure his self inflated ego, and break his bubble from which he refuses to come out. Let us see, how long he keeps stuck in his self ahankar. Then too, he has the cheek to say people throw dirt on him. Which is untrue. What the hell about his dirt which he constantly keeps on throwing on sikhee and its validity, do you foolishly expect sangat to pat on your back? Get lost, and only return back when you become not to say a good sikh, but even a normal sikh will do, which means humble and respectful with Gurbani and Guru Sahiban. Only that much.
