One thing we need to understand is the concept of obeying our Guru. If we are Sikhs or alteast claim to be Sikhs it is our farz to obey all Hukams of our Guru. Keeping Kesh, taking Amrit, keeping rehet, Amritvela is our farz. Only by obeying Guru's hukam can we get his Kushi. With his Kushi we get his full kirpa. Anything we do above farz is bonus. But as Sikhs we need to at least follow the basics and keeping Kesh/Rehet/Amritvela is all farz for a Sikh. And it's not as hard as people think it is. All Sikhs should strive to keep kesh. Look at how much population Sikhs have in Canada/UK/US. Just imagine if all all Sikhs were Keshadhari, how much visibility we would have. Right now, it is only a small community that keeps kesh amongst the youth and that's tragedy to say the least.

So what you are saying is that we should not spread awareness about Dundha and Darshan Ragi's falsehood? This is exactly what Dunda and his supporters want, to keep the Sikh sangat in ignorance. Agree with you. Unfortunately, Nirmala and Muslim writers have not been kind to Baba Jee despite his contributions and sacrifices. Dr Ganda Singh destroyed all their false propaganda with good logical argument in his book about Baba Banda Singh Bahadur which is a must read for anyone who is a student of history, yet out of ignorance we still get some Sikhs doing Nindya of Baba Jee. It is similar to how we will get some Congressi type Sikhs or anyone in opposition to him writing false propaganda against Sant Bhindranwalay and future generations would pick up their book and say look what kind of questionable things Sant Jee did. People need to use their bibek budhi more before questioning a Shaheed like Baba Banda Singh Bahadur or Sant Jee.

Destroying the SGPC is not the answer. The concept of the SGPC is a great one. The problem is the election system of the SGPC which needs to be replaced. Religious institutions should not be run by democracy since most of the public is usually non religious and the leaders elected will just reflect the public that elected them to office. Furthermore, the strangle hold of the political party SAD should not be on the SGPC. But their stranglehold over the SGPC is also because of the election process of the SGPC.

SGPC was created by the same Akalis who had given hundreds of Shaheedis to free Gurdwaras from Mahants. Men in my family during the 1920s were also involved in this great Sikh movement and were very badly wounded. As for your assertion that Sehejdharis are shunned. The term Sehejdharis is misinterpreted by Patits today to include themselves as "Sehejdharis" instead of Patit. Sehejdhari has always meant a non Sikh who was on the path to adopting the Sikh faith. Historically this term has been used for Aroras who were Hindus but were on the path to Sikhi including keeping Kesh or for those Hindus who made their eldest son Sikh. During the 1920s such Sehejdharis formed a large community in Punjab. But over time, such sehejdharis dwindled, presently you will hardly find such Sehejdharis. Now today, we have Sikhs who have become apostates and cut their hair, drink sharaab and eat kabaab and want to be included in to the category of "Sehejdharis". They are trying to institutionalism their weakness. I'm not against monas as my family were also originally Monas but we realized our weakness and adopted Sikhi. So instead of bending Sikhi to fit you, shouldn't you bend yourself to fit into Sikhi? Problem with SGPC is that it is following the election system instead of the selection system. Democracy will only reflect the general public. Since most Sikhs today are corrupt and non Dharmic, our leaders only reflect this image. Now that democracy is in place of the SGPC, and thanks to the demands of the congress government of the India and their Chamcha Sarna Patits will be allowed to vote in the next election who are wrongly passing themselves as Sahejdharis, so in future we can expect the sgpc to be run by patits. Sikhs today only need to focus on doing parchar. We need to bring the Patits back into Sikhi and even bring Hindus of Punjab and surrounding states into Sikhi.

Good idea, but I don't think this idea can sell to the general Sikh public for the simple fact that most Sikhs would not consider Luis Riel as their hero just as they would not consider William Wallace, Che or any other non Sikh hero as their hero. It's like native americans or some other non Sikh ethnicity putting up a picture of Sant Jee. It just would not happen since they cannot relate to Sant Jee as one of them. I think that Sikhs where ever they live should instead try to build relations with the local ethnicity or religious groups by participating in inter religious conferences or inviting them to the Sikh Gurdwara so they can better know us and get familiar with us.

Learn Judo plus boxing so you can mix them both together and become an all rounder in fighting. Plus Judo and Boxing are probably the cheapest martial arts to learn price wise and extremely effective in a real street fight. While Judo takes some time to learn but boxing is fairly easy to learn and one can get a hang of it in a few months. One should practice over and over what they learn daily. Other martial arts are good like BJJ and Muay Thai but these two are very expensive. Doing Dand Baithak and pull ups should also be included into your daily workout if you want explosive strength.

That's true. Last time I went to India, I noticed many girls have been married off to NRIs from Italy. Another area I've noticed a lot of Punjabi boys moving to is Spain. Within the next 10 years I expect Australia to become a major Sikh center as well. Most of the Sikhs in Australia are still single. Once they marry and bring their wives and parents over and have children you can expect their population to increase many fold. Australia will be another Canada very soon. But the Goras of Australia are very racist and have made it harder for Indian students to enter, but luckily their are already enough Sikhs there. Canada's Sikh population is expected to increase even more because recently they have made it very easy for Indian students to enter. I have many relative who have entered Canada as students in the last 2 years. With so many Sikhs moving out, what will happen to Punjab in the next 10 years? will it become a Punjab where Sikhs will be a minority?

I wish the Singhs with Satkar committee will also take action against Kala Afghanis. Doing beadbi of Gurbani is beadbi and kala afghanis are doing beadbi of Dasam Guru's Banis.

Khalsa Man Jee, dhunda is attracting people to him because he is a good speaker. He lets monas hear what they want to hear. He will encourage monas to reform their lives in accordance with Kala Afghani soch, but not once has he told them to keep kesh or take Amrit. He is against Naam which is the very foundation of Sikhism. He does not beleive in the powerful effects of Gurbani. He believes eating meat is okay. His philosophy is 100% kala afghani. But he'll never admit he is a Kala Afghani openly. When he is caught with his Kala Afghani words, he will just do damage control by denying he even said it or try to say he really meant to say something else but people misinterpreted it. The man is a liar. Sikhi character is "Truth is high but truthful living is even higher". If this dunda's character is fox like and false then what good is it if he is preaching to Monas. He is misleading them instead of putting them on the path of Gurmat. He is doing more damage than good for these monas.

Singh2012, like you many do not find anything wrong with Dunda. But tell me, as a Sikh do you agree with his statement that Darbar Sahib's kirtan would overdue a prostitute in terms of Besharmi?? do you agree with him on this. As a Sikh how does it make you feel that he said this?

The Ajnala Taksal is not infiltrated. They are real lions of the Panth. They are the ones who are fighting for the Panth when the whole Panth is down. I hope they do massive parchar all over Punjab and bring the youth back to Sikhi.

I don't understand one thing of these Dunda supporters is that they always start off by saying "I'm not a Dunda supporter" but then write nothing but supporting BS about their Saadh Dunda. His supporters show how much respect they have for Sikhi when they mock the Sikh Bana and round Dasatars and say those who wear them as doing "dikhaavaa". What a shameless statement for a socalled Sikh to make. But that is the thing. These Dunda supporters are all like this. Tomorrow they will also say "Why wear a Pagh and have a beard, after all it is just Dikhavaa and the Gurus were against Dikhavaa". These faithless people themselves are weak and to cover up their weakness they mock those who try to follow the Guru's path.

This is a myth. Many people beleive in this myth that Dunda is highly educated. He's only 10th grade pass from a village. After that he did a missionary course to become a preacher. That hardly qualifies someone being considered as "highly" education. Dunda like Darshan Singh are not qualified to add the title "prof" to their names since they have never seen the gates of an accredited collage or university. They are fake Sikh preachers as their fake professor title is. He's a good speaker, I'll give him that much. Plus being supported by the likes of Sarna his popularity has sky rocketed. The same Sarna who is the head of DSGMC plus the same Sarna who is on the Congress payroll. Brother, Dunda is a fake. He says one thing but does the opposite. On one hand he does parchar against Sants who ride in expensive cars, yet he himself does not go anywhere without a Limo. He makes subtle anti Gurmat remarks that are hardly get noticed but when someone with a sharp ear does notice it, he tries to damage control by covering his lies up with more lies. He does not believe in Dasam Banis like Jaap Sahib, then what kind of Nitnem does he do? He claims to be following Sikh rehet Maryadha which gives Hukam to do Naam Simran yet, Dunda does not beleive in Naam Simran which shows he is lying when he says he is promoting Rehet Maryadha. Dunda does not care for the Akal Takht. I bet if he goes to the Akaal Takht he will go how Darshan Lal went i.e. with a fauj of supporters full of hankaar. In his recent interviews he is very proud of the fact that the Canadian sangat has not listened to the Akaal Takht and has instead listened to him. No Gursikh with humility would ever say such a thing. A true Gursikh would always bow to the Akaal Takht with full humility and encourage others to also support Akaal Takht. This man is deliberately undermining the authority of the AKaal Takht and is proud of it.

The objection Sikhs should have here is that Sikh kirtanis and Gianis performed a marriage in which a Sikh is married to a non Sikh. As per Sikh rehet maryadha a Sikh anand karaj can only be between Sikhs. A Sikh girl cannot marry a Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist. Originally during the Gurdwara reform movement, the Anand Karaj could only be performed if both the boy and girl had taken Amrit. But it seems over the generations due to weaknesses we have allowed not only non Amritdhari Sikhs to have Anand Karaj but even non Sikhs to be included. That is why allowing one Dhil(weakness) is like a domino effect. One Dhil in rehet will lead to more dhils. Singho, With so much weakness in rehet in our Panth right now, why aren't we alarmed yet? We need Parchar more than ever to strengthen our Sikh institutions back to the standard of Guru Jee's time. Without that we are all lost. And our decline is just going to continue if we do not do anything about it. Parchar! Parchar! Parchar! should be ringing in our minds like an alarm bell.

Panthic Jathabandis, Sant Samaj, Simranjit Singh Maan should all unite. They should atleast unite to take back the SGPC from Badal, that is what our immediate focus should be not Punjab elections. But in this unity Dal Khalsa and other Kala Afghani agencies should not be included. Sant Samaj made the biggest mistake by supporting Badal instead of like minded Gursikhs who want betterment of the Panth. This has only given fuel to anti Sant outfits like the missionaries who further say all sorts of bad things about Sants. Instead of focusing on politics, in all honesty all Panthic groups should only focus on doing parchar right now. We are in a demographic decline. 95% of our youth is Patit. What use is getting into politics if we do not have Saabat soorat Khalsa remaining in Punjab? Just imagine the potential of Parchar right now. If Radhasoamis, Sacha Sauda can do parchar to millions why can't we? Punjab Haryana and Himachal should be full of Sikhs if only Sikhs do parchar instead of fighting about politics. Screw politics. We need parchar. Because only with demographic power can we have political power. Does it make sense having dreams of ruling the world yet not even being 2% of the population of India?

Only Vaheguru knows why things had to happen the way they happened. It is all his mysterious ways. Better than Sikh homeland of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's kingdom was the Sikh homeland of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. Past few posts are off topic. But coming back to the topic, Sikhs are not against any religion. But these these evengelical Christians are not good at all. They try to convert others to their faith. They do this by using dirty tactics, putting other religions down or by insulting them. They even target other Christians who are not evengelical. I don't mind others doing parchar of their religion but it is extremely immoral to do parchar of your religion the way these evengelical Christians do. Sikh parchar should be done not by puting down any other religion. Sikh parchar needs to be done by showing the greatness of the Sikh faith and the Gurus. In India these Chrsitians have done a lot of parchar and have converted many Sikhs. Just go to Amritsar and Gurdaspur and you will see for yourself how many villages are full of Christians and have churches. The priests are usually from South India/kerala. Sikhs need to bring our lost brothers back to the faith of the Gurus.

It is admirable that the Gursikhs got together to stop Dhunda even if they did not succeed. But atleast they tried. I just wish they had come armed with cameras to record this. These Kala Afghanis should be exposed. Right now, most of the Panth (due to ignorance) are worshiping Dhunda. They do not want to see hear or say anything bad about him. He is like a new cult figure for them. Dhunda is very smart. He will not let out his real intentions directly unlike his mentors KA, Ghagha, Jeonwala, Darshan Lal. But whatever he needs to say he will say indirectly so he wont look at as bad as his mentors did. But when he does let out his real intentions, he then tries to use lies to cover up his exposed lies. Just recently he gave an interview in which the host asked him about his remarks about the Darbar Sahib kirtan. Instead of admiting he said it, he just lied and said he did not mean Darbar Sahib's kirtan but he meant people make women dance in weddings and drink Shraab like how Massa Rangar made the Kanjri dance at the Darbar Sahib while drinking Shraab. So he tried to cover up his exposed lie this way. But it is a lie none the less! you cannot cover up your lies with more lies, because if you listen to the Katha he was not talking about any Viah/marriage but was telling the story of Massa Rangar/Sukha Singh/Mehtab Singh. He even made up a imaginary dialogue to go with his Katha then he said: "ਓਸੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਪੜੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੇਹੜੀ ਵੇਸ਼ਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਤ ਪਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ" Now which Rachnavaan this Kala Afghani Dhunda is talking about we all know. But when confronting these Dhunda chelas as to which time and date such a Rachna was done kirtan of they have no answer because ultimately they have no leg to stand on. This man is a Liar and now the panth needs to get Saavdhaan from him and try to get as much proof about him as possible so he can be exposed.

Bro, why create tension?

The reason I mentioned Taksal is because of their focus on knowledge/vidyaa aspect of Gurbani/gurmat. That is what we need right now in Punjab and the western world where ever Sikhs reside. I'm not a Taksali myself, so I don't have any particular loyalty towards Taksal, but the concept of a Taksal, a school where one can learn Gurbani/Gurmat is something we need more and more in the west if we want Sikhi to flourish and expand. We have so many Gatka Akharas in the west, but we also need Taksals.
