  4. Sorry, if I sound slightly sceptical..but I just had a few observations.....I assume you are new at this business??

    1. On eBay, you appear to have joined a week ago and only have one feedback - and that for a transaction where you bought something (i.e. no sales track record).

    2. All your online details (e.g. email, blog, etc) prevent anyone from identifying your postal address - how about registering a .co.uk URL in the normal way - it costs about £3 a year and would mean that there would at least be some traceability.

    3. Not paying you by Paypal, would mean that buyers have zero protection if they don't receive the item.

Earlier this year, I was visiting an antique fair in France and a guy was selling a penknife which had the Swastika symbol on it. he told me it was a very rare Third Reich era penknife (issued to SS officers) and was available for Euro 300.

I didn't buy it (no intention of buying it) and when I checked online ...I found that these penknives were mass produced in the 1960s and could be bought for less than Euro 10.

    Hi, No problem.

    1. Yes I am new in this business,. infact the first blogspot post is in this month. But i have been selling Arms for a while, via the internet. the blogspot is a result of an increase in interest, and a time saving method for me.

    2. i am not very good with computers either hence rather then replying with attachments and emails, individually to people, i thought it made sense to make a blogspot. as i do not always have my laptop to send pictures, now i can simply refer people to my blog and they can see for themself! blogspot is easily to use and update.

    3. Thats why I have paypal, so the buyer is protected, And ALL my details are in Paypal. I have had a few purchases and some repeat, i just sold a khanjarl on ebay, the first item i listed.

    Hope that helps.

If any buyer at any point does feel "safe" i can only advise them not to buy.

    Thanks

    Jas

  6. For sale is a Gold handle tulwaar, which is beautiful and light. the main point in this arm is not the gold (as it normally would be in a gold tulwaar) rather the lightness and balance.

This is an amazing peice with around 40/35% gold on the handle. The blade has a nice light patina on it. (proving age), and if etched may be wootz.

This peice is amazingly light, and has perfect balance. it has gold on the handle, in a nice pattern. if cleaned it may prove to have more gold work. (in the past i have claned normal looking tulwaars with patterns, only to find below the dust/oxcidiation there is silver flower pattern)

    this peice has no scabboard.

Asking for £300 or nearest offer. (including Postage and packing to UK)

shipping charges apply extra to out of UK.

    Gold Handle.

    Amazing Balance

No movement between handle and blade - solid practical peice.

    More Information, AntiqueCollections@hotmail.co.uk

    More pieces to come :)

    Thanks
