your in a hard position harpreet. have to think about this yourself properly. its going to be difficult especially if you do not marry this boy. i still think you two are young and things may change. i cant give advice on this however i hope you talk to your parents about this too.
  8. This has happened to me when doing simran too. I do not know about group simran but when i was doing alone my head used to tilt back as my concentration increased. I think it is just because when someone is doing simran they forget about everything and including they forget about there body. so the head falls in to its natural rest position by force of gravity it tilts back this occurs when someone gets into samadhi state also
  9. Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Sahib jee da Khalsa! Mamma Mia!
  10. the typical amritvela (morning nitnem/simran period) that depends on everyone's different views, some say 5am, some 6am, some even up to 10am or 12pm. the true amrtivela is continuous 24/7. as amrit (non death) vela (time) is always present, how can it be otherwise. with out amrit vela, the world would not exist, not just this maya world, but also God would not, but God is amritvela itself too. Anyway, back to original point. I don't think its something to regret or ask for forgiveness, its not in your hands at all, its God doing that himself, its His hukam..

    Jesus

depends how you would define a Sikh.
  12. Great sakhi my brother ji. But I was wondering, what rehat would they have given the maharaaja if the mahapurkhs were from different jatheybandhis?
  13. What Bhai Sahib has said there I agree with. I was young at first, I thought it was like empty feeling. But now I realize that this is not our choice. I also found that these experiences are not important at all. Amrit is just accepting the Guroo as your teacher, as a guide and that you will do whatever Guru Nanak says from that day on. It is just beginning of journey, it is not about experiences or ras and all this.
  14. This link is of the bani that Guru Naanak sahib said when in discussion with the hindu yogis in himalayas. http://www.searchgurbani.com/baanis/sidh_gosht
