You would need to check with the elders and per family situation. There's always going to be some eyebrows raised but there is no genetic issue as such. It's your mother's nankey ie. your mothers-mother side(2 generations and 3 counting yourself). I have known some marriages like this to take place without too much problem. Also, you've only mentioned that the surnames are the same but were the villages of origin also the same ?

totally agree ji. This is not about anything else but islam, as someone stated on here. It doesn't matter what some of us or moderates think about islam. Islam is all about what taliban thinks and endorses and that is the islam that stands out loudly. good post and to the point. I also find that negative people around me drain away my positive inner light... It's as if they automatically set up ego defense mechanisms without even realising.........this results in them provoking, slandering, getting you to join in...etc.... and the end result is that it takes you away from the Mool inside yourself...ie..takes the energy from the positive inner jyot within.......which obviously results in more manifestation of negative. These people can be your very own family as above post mentioned and I too have experienced this most of my life. Gurbani tells us again and again to avoid this company and try to make company with sadh sangat. The answer is to Vibrate the gurmantar within you and then the shabad dunn will start................all positive will begin to manifest from thereon.

to the OP. The only genuine advice is by Jagsaw singh ji. (I am also surprised at the lack of intelligence by some sikhs on here who can't seem to grasp fundamental principles of general law) The fact that you bought race and prejudice into the equation is where I'm afraid you will be at fault. If you praise or favor someone or one of your own... even then it is considered prejudice and discrimination. You said along the lines ''I don't expect that language from a singh''.... will also be taken to mean that you would expect it and take it from others but not from him because of his name...religion..race...-( in simple terms you are telling him to behave himself because of his faith or race) .....this implies that you discriminated in your sentence and response regardless of whether you treated him unfairly or not from your heart. Imagine you were working as some promoter in a department store and had to give out 50 dollar coupons at random every 30 minutes to whoever you chose. Then for some reason you thought about being fair and deliberately choosing people from some race or community because you personally felt they deserved it. ....AGAIN,, this would be unfair discrimination because the ones not chosen would have a right to complain on those grounds if they were to know your tactics ! .....So you see, even if we think we are doing good and being helpful,, we can also be prejudice and discriminative without harmful intentions.

The tapes and recordings are genuine and the only tampering is where the names have been bleeped...and as stated by the people presenting it. I know that some people were claiming that bits were missing and some joining of parts was done to make it sound so... but with a little of some sound engineering knowledge I have... I have looked at the sound waveforms in extreme magnifications and I saw nothing that would imply there was deliberate tampering. (like i say, i'm no expert but if some you have some good software,, then you will also see what I mean!) I'm not sure on what legal grounds or platforms this can be dealt with... but i'm sure there will be some open opportunities for private action to be taken even if there wasn't enough for legal prosecutors to step in.

This is sad.... but we should learn from this. When I first came across this some weeks ago, my ego was also telling me that gyaniji is being set up and that this never happened,... However, the best thing for me to do was completely walk away and out of the situation and my own ego....and thus try and come back into it in a complete 'Neutral' manner. The few pointers for us all to note are- -We have failed as men, in protecting our sister,daughter,if we refuse to listen to her. -Most of us have probably got some sort of gyan that came via gyaniji and because of this we are blindly protecting him. -We have no right to judge Gyaniji for some weakness but at the same time we cannot be judging the daughters of Guru Gobind Singh ji, and calling them liars. -Important lesson is that no bibi or female should ever be left alone in a room with any pacharak of any nature.....there should always be a 3rd or 4th person present.......... with regards to this, gyanji made a huge mistake by asking bibi to come on her own....regardless if anything happened or not. The possibility and window of opportunity was opened by gyaniji himself by instructing the husband to stay back and bibi attending on her own. I'm not sure what the outcome will be, but the more I delve into it, the more I doubt that it is being fabricated or blown out of context. I find it very unlikely that a bibi would do the utmost seva with the purest intentions and then just turn around by trying to throw dirt on gyaniji.....which probably shows why she took so long to come out with the allegations. I know that most truthful victims of this nature take so long because they spend a lot of time trying to convince themselves that it really happened and that they were innocent victim... You see they spend so much time assuming that it must be some sort of shortcoming on their own behalf and they try and handle the situation by blaming themselves, especially when they have been in this 'master-servant' or seva scenario.

I agree ji. There isn't anything contradicting in science. In my earlier post I forgot to mention that although nothing contradicts,in the scientific approach they are still learning and trying to validate the 'subtle' approaches that I mentioned. I believe that even in quantum physics they have already proven that there is a consciousness and now they have nearly determined that this consciousness goes to another universe after death ! Japji sahib tells us about the countless galaxies and universes.
