Can A 'mona' Ever Be Classed As As Sikh ? Answer: No! I hope SGPC don't let "monas" vote. By doing so, it will send a clear message to monas that they're not sikhs. Hopefully then, monas will realize it, decide if they want become sikhs or follow some other religion instead. Based on my gut feeling, I think a lot of monas will not follow Sikhi and convert to Christianity. Seems like becoming Christians is a cool path to follow for Punjabis (living in the west at least) these days.

Man, that article is so uncalled for. We all got our flaws, no need to judge others. I used to like that Punjabi blog, but reading some of recent articles there has changed my mind.

You guys make me laugh. I feel sorry for Punjabis who will suffer from Khalistan like they already are from India. In other words, doesn't matter who is controlling Punjab because end of the day, Punjabis will come out losers. It doesn’t matter if the indian government or sikh government is running Punjab because Punjabis will be treated like second class citizens that wouldn't have any rights compare to Indians and Sikhs (if they end up ruling Punjab) That is why Punjabis are making a run outta Punjab and moving to the west. Overall, Khalistan is a safe haven for sikhs, not for Punjabis. Punjabis have nothing to gain, but everything to lose (their lives) from Khalistan. Khalistan will become land of Sikhs and Punjab (land of Punjabis) will be dead for good if Khalistan ever becomes a reality.

As a Punjabi Canadian, it is sad to know that people behind this tragedy are still out there unpunished. I hope Canadian government and Canadian public don't forget about this incident.

WJKK WJKF and if he wasnt, because from my understanding he became shaheed as a monah, as did many others. What is your response, what would you say if a shaheed who died as monah stood before you? There is a picture of him with his gun without wearing a turban as well. Just because he wears a turban in that picture, doesn't mean he was a keshdhari. (he maybe wore a turban for those pictures,but still had cut hair underneath his turban). In fact, just look at his face in those pictures, notice his facial hair is shaved/trimmed? Anyway, you people need some serious help. If you want Sikh community to be united, then accept each other regardless how much each other practice Sikhi. Not every sikh is going to be a good sikh. It takes time for some Sikhs to really get into Sikhi. And I bet you any money that "mona" in those pictures was prolly much better sikh than most of us on this website. Unlike most people on this site, that "mona" went out to fight for justice instead of going on some sikh website and talk about Khalistan all day along. Keep in mind that this "mona" (I don't remember his name) is from Canada who went all the way to Punjab to bring justice to our people. He was a kid as well. I don't always. Should I go find a barber shop, preferably with someone named Mohamed working there, and ask them to cut my hair and make bad jokes while being filmed? Sure, why not? But really though, judging by the guy based on the video, it was obvious he wasn't spirituality mature enough to keep kesh. The fact he made video outta of this, shows a lot about his character.
