  1. That's it? I know you can point out more flaws in today's youth.
  2. Canada is ranked 55th right now even though they can easily move up in the rankings if they just played more games.
  3. That game works both ways, its hard for not good looking sikh men to find a wife as well. Men are expected to be tall, handsome, have a good career etc ... You certainly seem convinced that only women have a hard time finding men. When in reality it works both ways. Well I fit two of those three points. I just need to get a nice job to seal the deal. :s
  4. If you don't enjoy your work and don't change your job, then you are not going to make it for 40 years. Sooner or later, you're going to quit. Anyway, how come you want to quit? Is your fellow co-workers/boss making your job a living hell?
  5. I feel your pain, bro/sis. Just keep your head up. (I would have give you a real input, but a lot of people here would jump on me...so it is better to keep my mouth shut this time around)
  6. I personally don't hang out with too many "FOB'S" because I can't relate to them at all. But that doesn't mean I hate them though.
  7. If you want to get this message across more effectively, then post it on social networking websites like Facebook, Myspace, Hi5 etc. since usually these girls who date muslims don't come to this website at all. But nevertheless, thanks for the link. I am still learning more about this issue even though I am not from UK.
  8. Who is "we"? How many sikhs really want justice? Not too many if you ask me. Just look how Sikhs in India view Bhinderwale and rest of the sikh martyrs. They don't care about them and most likely consider those sikh martyrs as bunch of "terrorists". Edit: Khalistan shouldn't be a cause for Sikhs to fight for right now. Their main battle should be educating sikh community and getting rid of sikh leaders (especially the old ones) and replace them with intelligent and modern sikhs. Now the question is, do we have any intelligent and modern sikhs? Sadly, no we don't have enough of them.
  9. wow! Babbar Khalsa still exist in India? I never knew that.
  10. English is the universe language and not everybody here is Punjabi. Since majority of users on this site come from English speaking countries, you will most likely see them speak/write/type English instead of Punjabi.
  11. no offence, but a lot of sikhs don't know much about their religion. So I am not surprise to see how the guy in the video doesn't know the 5 K's.
  12. I voted no! I don't want my motherland to be run by bunch of extremists. I want Punjab to become a secular nation if people there ever wanted Punjab to become a country. If people in Punjab don't want Punjab to become a country, then I am cool with that as well. If "Khalistan" was ever to be form, I fear a lot of Punjabis will be treated as 2nd class citizen and they wouldn't have the same freedom they will have in India especially if they wanted to become politicians (especially PM or any other high rank political job). We all know that amrithdharis will benefit most from Khalistan since all political power and seats will go to them similar to how all gurdwara commitments/seats are reserved to them. Which explains why most amrithdharis (especially the ones living in the west) are too busy promoting khalistan in their gurdwaras and any other sikh event all the time.
  13. nott.........canuckss! srry but.. LMAO @ Canucks! You guys suck! How many cups have you guys won?
  14. wow! It must be a England thing because here in Canada, Pakistanis in general don't speak Punjabi well compare to Canadian Sikhs. My cuz said as much. He said most of the third generation in Canada speak Panjabi fluently. Does everyone take Panjabi lessons there or something? Nope, not really. It is just parents always speaking Punjabi to us which helps us to speak Punjabi more fluently than others. But keep in mind that a lot of third generation punjabi-canadians can't read & write Punjabi though.
  15. This is why politics and religion should never mix at all.

  17. Basketball, Hockey and Footy (soccer) are my favourite sports to watch & play.
  18. Who am I to force religion onto someone else? If I teach the kid about religion (well in this case, Sikhi) and the kid still has no love for any type of religion, then I can't do anything about it.
  19. So true. The worse thing about this is that most Sikhs are doing nothing about it or just simply accepting this. its a good thing you did something about it, or else we would have been screwed... Oh, I would have done something about it, but the thing is that I am not a sikh according to people here on this website. So there is no need for me to get involved with this issue.

  21. So Guru Gobind Singh Ji wanted to get rid of caste system by telling Sikhs to drop their family name and change it to singh (for the guys) and kaur (for the girls). But the thing is that SINGH is a caste name too. Singh is a Rajput (caste) name! There much be another reason why males suppose to have Singh as their last name. I am not buying into this whole "getting rid of caste system" argument here.
