You know it feels like Sikhs are becoming more n more hard lined that we would've even called out Bhai ghanniya ji for doing what he did It takes a lot of guts to be the only Singh in a crowd, to stand up and to call out the wrong I admire this Singh for doing what he did

What the guy did is admirable.. As a Sikh it's our duty to speak against intolerance but with this people are going to link turbans with Islam again. I hope that guy gets to clear his stance on the fact that he is a Sikh not a Muslim

Guru Sahib was married around that time for sure, I don't think he ever married Mata Sahib Kaur ji I read it in Mahan Kosh, according to Baba Nihal Singh that the whole thing with Mata Sahib Kaur/Jeeto ji putting patases in 1699 of Amrit sanchaar is fiction.. the practice started after Mata Sundar Kaur sent Hukamnama to Bhai Mani Singh to start the practice of doing such. I'm confused as well

Who put the Patases in Amrit bataa, was it Mata Jeeto Ji or Mata Sahib Kaur ji? I recently heard the dhadhi jathas' vaar at the Gurdwara that gave the description of the first Amrit Sanchar by Guru Gobind Singh ji, the dhadis mention how Mata Jeeto ji was the one who put patases or sugar candy in the Amrit da Baata. I've always read and believed it was Mata Sahib Kaur ji and that's the reason we call her Khalse Di Mata. When I spoke to the dhadis about it they said I must've reading it wrong, since they've always read it was Mata Jeeto ji. Please if anyone could share about it, I would really appreciate it.
