Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh ji put the parshada back on plate and said Isher thanda paani leya. Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh ji maharaaj
  3. Guru Nanak Sahib got mool manter upto Gurparsad from Akaal Purkh ji in veiin nadi. Then Guru Nanak Sahib added last panktis concluding the mool manter with his name, like writers put their name at the end of poetry. Now thing is we got manter from Guru Nanak Sahib, hense it is upto "nanak hosi bhi sach" From Giani Thakur Singh ji Patialewale
  4. Sant Baba Balwant Singh Ji Urmur Tandewale:- Sangat asked mahapurkh ji ke bande de vas vich ki hai? Mahapurkh ji replied, "Aadmi de vas ch ena hi hai ke oh kothe ton charhke shaal maar sakda." Meaning: Everything is in God's hand.
  5. Sant Harnam Singh ji Rampurkherha used to do ardas before eating food along with the this salok from Sukhmani Sahib "Kaam Krodh or lobh moh binas jaaye ahamev, Nanak prebh sarnagati kar parsad gurdev"
  6. Sant Gurdial Singh ji Tandewale:- "Khadhe te khana te bin sade jana, changi gal nahin."
  7. One of my mothers forefathers, Bhai Nagaaiya Ji bhaint (gifted) neela ghorha to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji, when Guru Sahib reached Aalamgir after passing through the jungles of machiwarha.
  8. I think madh da bhog takes place at ang 705 but just heard from someone that Tarjit Singh Narula kathavachak doing katha from delhi said that people don't pay attention to the fact that 705 ang is not the middle or madh of 1430 ang. I have not ever heard about this kathavachak. Anybody knows more?
  9. All Gurus were one jot. Guru Gobind Singh Sahib took Amrit from 5 pyare. Prior to that the way of taking amrit was "charan-pahul" of the Gurus. Regarding Kabir Sahib, you might not believe, but they came to Guru Sahib with Mata Loi ji and took di daat of Amrit. And all other bhagats in some way or other took Amrit like Bhagat Dhanna Ji accompanied Dasvein paatshah as Bhai Daya Singh ji. Those who don't believe this.... fine, please don't start arguiung here, already have so many threads on this. Thirdly, you should try to think what is meant by "Khalsa" actually. Why did Guru Sahib chose this word only coz it means "Pure". It is not meant to be just for Sikh, but for every religion possible on earth. Now every "soul" seperated from waheguru ji (regardless of the religion), has this ultimate goal of "being one with HIM". Guru Nanak Sahib actually started the base of Khalsa, by infusing vand shako, kirat karo, naam japo, gareebi, haleemi, getting rid of vices etc. Dhan Sri Hargobind Singh Sahib ji introduced the Sipahi aspect after the shaheedi of Guru Arjan Paatshah and Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji after the shaheedi of Guru Tag Bahadur Sahib, brought both together as Sant-Siphai by blessing them with the daat of "Amrit". It was a pre-planned way of teaching. Now some people take Amrit first and then work on spirituality, and some are spiritual before they take Amrit. So it depends on every individual's faith, past karams, Guru sahibs bakhshish, kirpa, taras. No one can predict how one will achive oneness with God coz it's based on so many factors. But one thing is sure that one has to take "Amrit" because it is our Guru Sahibs hukum. Saying this ke "dil saaf hona chahida, amrit di ki lorh hai" is a sign of ignorance because we all know Guru Sahib's heart is the purest of all, and he still took Amrit from 5 pyaare. Bhul chuk maaf
  10. Sant Baba Gurdial Singh ji Tandewale on Guru Sahib's birad:- "Baahein jina di pakrhiye, sir deeje, baanhe na shorhiye"
  11. yes it is wrong to seperate Gurus and Waheguru ji because Vaar 1, Pauri 35 of 49 - ੩੫ : ਬਗ਼ਦਾਦ ਗਮਨ ਇਕ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਰੂਪੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਰਬਾਬੀ ਮਰਦਾਨਾ। And "akaal" as defined in "Mool Manter" is only waheguru ji. Akaal formed a "roop" of Guru Nanak Sahib to teach and save us from Kalyug and Maya. All Gurus, one Jot. Waheguru ji is giving us darshan as Guru Granth Sahib ji. But based on seekers karams, Guru ji's taras and kirpa, waheguru ji give darshan to them the way they worship HIM or the way they want to have HIIS darshan.

  17. People forgot who they really were, started changing their identities by doing sunnats and mundans, corrupted by five vices. So Akaal purkh ji came on earth as Guru Sahibaan to remind them who they really are and showing them the right way of living. So people who realized this, came back to their real identities, which is "Sikh". It is as simple as that.
