  1. Loll! The whole story is just fabricated, its so obvious. Doesnt surprise me really, theres no point even discussing it. I hate even just seeing his picture. This is irrelevant to the topic but it looks like hes wearing a wig!
  2. Not exactly the victim of an assassination attempt...a couple of plasters.
  3. We dont say that when we are talking about other bimaarian do we Veer Ji?
  4. I agree its not the Bibis fault. It cant be too far from simple especially for the Bibi in the other post, then again im not a medical professional. And i understand that they are just following what Guru Ji has told them, thats good and i admire it. Still doesnt justify the dhari for me though.
  5. Thats a completely different thing. Not being able to differentiate between similar religious and/or cultural attire is not the same as not being able to differentiate between male and female.
  6. Its normal for women to have hair elsewhere. Its also normal for women to have hair on the face but not so excessively. No they should do something before it gets to the stage when it becomes a dhari like the one the local Giani has. And its not about just facial hair, its about ridiculously excessive facial hair. I dont know which zamana women had or kept full dharian. I thought the sister with a dhari was a "Khalistani Gun Man" You can see how one might make that mistake when the line between man and woman is broken.
  7. You're basing this on your expericence on a forum. This should by no means paint an overall picture of Sikhs for you.
  8. You can't wrap your head around it due to the fact that i dont think you understand who or what "God" is in Sikhi. Like Mehtab Singh Ji said there is a lot you need to read to figure that out. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was not God rather God was Guru Nanak Dev Ji, if that makes any sense? I know alot of Muslims tend to almost personifiy God and even if you dont, you still wont be able to grasp what Sikhi says about God or Waheguru as we call "Him" if you continue to look at it from an Islamic viewpoint. To learn about and to begin to comprehend Sikhi you need to drop your current way of thinking. I could question you endlessly on Islamic practices but i wont understand them or even your reasoning for them if i dont first understand the fundamentals of Islam.
  9. I dont think its a norm. I dont know of any civilisation where women had a dhari!
  10. I dont know if its just my eyes but that dhari does not look real! If it is then..... :faint: A line has defientely been broken...I can't really expand any more than that. This level of facial hair on women is extremely abnormal. She should be allowed to sort this out...she should sort this out! I understand this 100% Veer Ji but seeing as women arent supposed to have such excessive facial hair its grown abnormally, she doesnt really have any mouchan and an overly prominent dhari...does this remind you of a particular style favoured by another community?? Wouldnt say it looks entirely like "Guru Sahibs Roop"
  11. I saw a number for Pt. Pran Nath Sharma in Ajit Weekly and apparently he gets rid of 100% problems in home, relationships and workplace! I can get the number for you if you want?
  12. Only five Ji, your knowledge of Gurbani is more than i could ever hope mine to be! Forgive my ignorance! :respect:
  13. I think maybe it means the bird is Japping Naam all the time but it makes no difference to the bird, the bird is not subject to the effects of Naam whereas we humans are because this is the only life form out of 8.4million forms we can truly realise Waheguru through Naam but we still dont choose to sometimes even though we know it will only benefit us. This is just a very basic answer so i hope someone with more gyaan can elaborate on what ive said. If anything this should give you more motivation to Jap Naam Veer Ji.
  14. Only five Ji, your first point is actually very good, i'll give you that. Although you still havent changed my view but then again views can always change. Your second point...no! I dont think like that nor do i take whey protein for that matter. And this "western thinking" rubbish is just not true. It has nothing to do with western thinking. Thats what people say when they dont really have anything productive to say. All im saying is theres a point when when it becomes abnormal. Where did Satguru say hes hetrosexual...where did he say hes not?? He didnt need to because its laws of kudrat!
  15. Not in me Veer Ji but those closer to you. And please write with more pyaar if you want others to relate to you.
  16. I dont understand...you always talk about how someone might ruin your Gursikhi Jeevan but in so many of the examples you've given in various stories it seems like you're almost provoking some of the panj chorr in some people, especially those who might not have them under control yet which in turn will cause damage to your Jeevan. You seriously need to learn to be more tolerant and accepting and act with more pyaar to others around you especially if you want others to share your beliefs on rehat.
  17. I think all humans are just naturally ritualistic, we all display some kind of ritualistic behaviour. We just can't avoid it, empty ritual or not.
  18. Theres homosexuals in our society and we're taught about them through various sources such as the education system, law and media so why wouldnt i know about them? Your question about Akal Purakh da Hukam has already been answered, everything is hukam but do we not try to amend abnormalities? AjeetSinghPunjabi Ji you seen to have some sort of unresolved anger which is apparent in all your posts and you are continually trying to enlighten us all but to be honest i dont know why you even post sometimes when you've stated your a naastik; your point of view on every issue is almost anti-Sikh and you hardly say anything constructive. You're neither for or against and all you do is just ask questions or make comments to try and create commotion.
  19. Thats because i dont think Singhs want their Bibia to actually look like a Singh...unless of course they have homosexual tendencies. Keeping the equality of Sikhi in mind we still need to understand that men and women are biologically different. In all other respects men and women are equal. People misunderstand what equality means.
  20. http://timesofindia....ow/16566227.cms AMRITSAR: Radha Soami Satsang Dera Beas chief Baba Gurinder Singh visit to Golden Temple on Wednesday has sparked a new controversy. According to reports, Baba Gurinder Singh arrived at Golden Temple in the morning like a humble Sikh and paid obeisance. He reportedly remained in the sanctum sanctorum for half an hour and also received siropa besides paying obeisance at Akal Takht. Commenting on his visit to Golden Temple, Akal Takht jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh said, "His visit proves that he is not a guru, but the real guru is Guru Granth Sahib." He said a Sikh could never proclaim to be a guru and advised Baba Gurinder Singh to propagate Shabad Guru. Chief of dera Beas, who enjoys Z plus security, was reportedly accompanied by three persons, including his security chief Sarabjit Singh Bedi and former superintendent of police Paramdeep Singh Teja. Earlier, Giani Gurbachan Singh had given clean chit to Dera Beas in case of alleged demolition of a Gurdwara at Waraich village despite severe opposition by various Sikh organizations that even gave a call to boycott the Akal Takht jathedar. Surprisingly, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee officials expressed ignorance about Dera chief's visit to Golden Temple. Dal Khalsa spokesperson Kanwarpal Singh said, "Beas dera chief's bowing before Guru Granth Sahib could be construed as a positive signal." However, he said, it was yet to be seen if he discards the practice of proclaiming himself as living guru and accepts Guru Granth Sahib as his eternal guru or not. "There are so many ifs and buts and unanswered questions yet," he said. Sources said Baba Gurinder Singh paid obeisance at Golden Temple to earn goodwill and improve his image among Sikhs as a large number of them are followers of Beas dera.

  23. Finally you post something good Paaji, you've highlighted an issue that we need to do something about so on behalf of SikhSangat i would like to thank you! Keep it up! But it leaves me wondering...are you "Singh 4"... Hahaha!! :lol2: Sorry if i offended you Consciousness Veer Ji, I mean no harm!
  24. http://www.sikhee.com/audio/Kirtan/Bhai%20Harbans%20Singh/Tu%20Thakar%20Tum%20Pe%20Ardaas.mp3 I remember hearing this ages ago and the tune stuck with me ever since but i had lost all hope of even trying to find it and then a couple of months ago, one random day, i just stumbled across it! This might sound like an over exaggeration but that was one of the best days ever! :biggrin2: but thats because this kirtan personally struck a chord with me since the first time i heard it! We all have those few pieces of kirtan that speak to us. Hope you enjoy! Waheguru...
  25. Sorry Ji, the Ik Oankar was quite obvious, i thought you were talking about something more discreet
