  1. Everyone who was there and did not witness the incident don't comment, I'm not the on the forum hardly as I have other constructive things to do. I was there and so where others, if you really want to find out who was there etc and what went down PM me and we can meet at next Sikhi programme / camp etc. Why would people make it up, I can understand some would find it hard to believe buts its all facts. Peace. Can we carry on with more constructive things....
  2. I can kind of guess what angle she will cover the documentary from, however lets just wait. The documentary is next on the 10th Jan 2010 Sunday at 22:55
  3. i can understand some messages of racism / discrimination he is implying in the video, however I feel the Dastar once again is basically being shitted on. Bollywood.... Now a kenyan muslim from North london... Your views, Just rememebr how much blood has been given for the Dastar (Crown) a little bit of respect is required dont you think so? We all moan how the Ludhiana planned riots, Ram Rahim etc are all 1000s of miles away, however this is in OUR OWN BACK YARD ONCE AGAIN. Britasia.tv is also airing the video, from current research I understand that the majority shareholders in Brita Asia also run the Sikh Channel. Link: Ag Dolla's PR is done by a company called: www.soundproofent.com
  4. I and others have contacted Fiona Mactaggart, still awaiting any sort of replies. Please note I used to be like everyone else and think whats the point of all this email, letter business, however nowdays this is crucial as well as being active physically etc etc.

  6. right been reading a few posts, this one and the one about the indian cricket match, all im going to say it if u support indian cricket team u deserved it lol kdding  . about the incident you to go remember when pakistanis are in groups they feel more confident ,as individual they like pijeeahn billian (wet/wine-ing cats), the more numbers, the better they play of each other - this sort of dog pack mentality is inbred in them .... expected. why dont people take pre-cautions. but honestly it would do good for some 'sikhs' to grow up in scum areas amongst the racist of racists: 2 things happen 1) MAKE : u learn that the streets are shite place but u gota live day to day, tool up, learn that you got give and take simple. Learn about your forefathers, inspiration, become the best you can at fighting in all aspects. Learn you cant have it all, have a normal job, keep pyar with your close brothers whether they Singhs or moneh simple - live as a family. 2) BREAK: you run away from all the sh** blame it on your identity/religion or what ever you want. Change yourself to fit in with the normal crown become reserved, stay out of trouble types (by that meaning when someone brings it to you for no reason, you avoid it...)... First given opportunity you move area/live out in uni or something. LIve for yourself, be selfish basically. Please note the above are two typical scenarios, they dont apply to everyone, nowdays Sikhs are to interested - Educating themselves (academically) which is good thing but it dont teach you the values Sikhi does. Some might have PHDs from top unis but there street smartnes/ignorance is of a 5 year old. - Money, as long as Im okay and Im earning top dollar screw the rest of the community I dont want trouble - Status, as long as I have a nice car, nice bird and name that everyone knows me by its all good. I dont want to associate with those 'Sikhs' from poorer areas who always seem to be caught up in trouble! - Police & Other authorities: Dont worry puth, the police will sort it out your dad knows a officer, NO THE POLICE WONT GET THIS THROUGH YOUR SKULL THE QUICKER YOU DO THE BETTER OF YOU WILL BE. Please note I aint encouraging anyone to disregard the laws of this country. -Community & Upbringing - sod that why do I want to go and help others in my community Ive graduated from uni and want to marry the love of my life, Ive got better things to do. Some parents will teach there kids: education and good life (money) simple as if any thing happens to someone within your community and they need a help stay away trouble could come our ways. BUT WHEN SH** hits their front door step they come running to the Gurdwara moaning why aint the youngters who look like the fighting type aint pulled out TANKS and AKS to fight lol. Alot of you will disagree, but in most areas things like this go and will go on. In slough this is the case of most of the 'sikh youth', however there are some/many exceptions. But you will get some who say na everythings died down, its because they have never been involved mainly in what ever you want to call it. TIMES ARE BAD, AND ARE GETTING WORSE DAY BY DAY. THE DECISION IS YOURS... BUT PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND PLEASE TO THOSE DREAMERS OUT THERE, S.P DONT EXIST anymore!!!
  7. raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah amazing. good on ya young soldier.
  8. Veer, I feel for your mate around where Im from in the U.K true punjabis show love to one another, you cant go around blaming a few pig-headed people in a justification of making a religion. On one is perfect, and believe me Im far of the mark. But Like you said its all about love. This is what I cant understand through the use of internet, youth work shops and camps, why cant we move on from the mistakes of your elders in some cases and just show LOVE & RESPECT. With starting sites, which are untimately taking Gurbani and exclusively claimining it to be theirs only and starting a religion on this this is just going to strengthen the divides. Please forgive me if I have said anything wrong. One Panth, One Aim, One Love = Khalsa
  9. kuthaman: Could you post this article in this post. Thanks.
  10. Right before anyone goes bashing each other etc, this is for views and to hear each other out. Dont turn this into a: - so called Sikhs are behind the veinna incident - Bhagat Ravidas was a Guru not a Bhagat At the end of the day we all have .... the same blood, 1x heart I hope... so no mud slinging children, maybe I can learn aswell. While talking to a very very close friend of mine who is from the 'ravidass' sect/group/what ever he pointed me to a website: www.ravidassiauk.co.uk Upon reading the website I stumbled upon: RIGHT BEFORE YOU GO OFF ON ONE.... It is true that people from the Ravidass community have in the past, and in unfortunate current day circumstances face discrimination through caste-ism. However I have always believed those from the Ravidass community to be Sikhs and a part of the Panth. My close friend also aligns himself with Sikhi even though both of us dont follow it, well we try. hmmm.... Why have some resorted to making this a religion. :6 One Panth, One Aim, One Love = Khalsa
  11. really recommend everyoone to watch the video its on youtube aswell or www.trusikhi.blogspot.com amazing seva
  12. into the light and ragiwanabe this has all been dicussed soo many times, but thanks for raising it again as sikhs, the media dont give a <banned word filter activated> about us. SIMPLE solution to this start our own media mediums TV - SIKH CHANNEL RADIO - Amrit Bani / ? Web/Internet - Wed Radio on a mass scale which is colaberated internationally then we are talking, then we can voice opinions such as why the BBC keeps taking our tax money but when it comes to showing equal / even coverage we are always the LAST ONES, sometimes let alone last we are not even mentioned..... UNTILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL U GUESSED IT .....its something the media can protray negatively to make us look bad.
  13. basically how many of you out work as: - police officers - firefighters / paramedics - enforcement officers do you wear a dastaar to work and have to have the emblem attached or what, has hats are mandatory for example civil enforcement officers have to wear hats, if a person who has kesh wants to become one, do / she still have to wear emblem attached to distar, i swear ive seen some on the beat coppers with dastars and they dont have the emblem attached? also anyone show me links or state any other cases which relevant to this cases like: Mandla v Lee Dowell Lee case.
  14. wow rabinder singh, after reading about him - what an amazing character, an awesome cv, including setting up the matrix chambers (tony blairs wife also a part of this), voted top human rights lawyer in the year 2006 by Liberry/Justice anyone know any more about him... however just out of curiousity none of his work is related to 1984 etc, im sure having someone like this on our side could help bring some of the guility to justice... PLEASE DONT TURN THIS INTO A KHALISTAN DEBATE, THE QUESTION IS WHETHER HE HAS DONE ANY WORK CONCERING 1984 and his general character and how he reached such a an amazing position with a Sikhi Saroop. Good on ya Rabs, need more people like u :D some links: http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2005/aug/06/july7.uk http://www.matrixlaw.co.uk/WhoWeAre_Member...derSinghQC.aspx
  15. right, guys this issue is massive, its in every area and takes various forms: - some asking for donations concerned with gurudwara funds to - some asking for donations to fund terminally ill family members etc the list goes on and becomes very imaginative. in commuties where apneh are not close its easy for these sorts of people to swindle money, as they punjabi lokh are very generous in regards to giving dhan/financial support if a basically a good blag is played out. so lets not become internet warriors and do something... positive.... (like we done in our are) - compile a log of these people, simple descriptions, names given, causes etc etc - take pictures if necessary, althought they will probably run - communicate with each other then report this to the police and inform the local sangat - take what ever necessary steps in order to prevent them coming back simple steps: COMPILE, COLLECT, COMMUNICATE AND ACT - CCCA (should make that a new government scheme name lol ahhah) this will also ensure pakandis like this are caught out in other areas before they know, might have a few nice suprises for them.... god bless, and thanks for baljitk for starting this thread....
  16. based in heathrow and other airports world duty free has many 'apneh' working for them yet looking at their listings for 'religions'....
  17. well done to sarabha panjab for the posting well done to the internet warriors who also messed up this post informative, i hope we can all add some valid and well credited evidence against all these enemies in order to expose thier - 'doings' take care.
  18. 'sikhs' have just got lazy agree with brothers like kaljug singh... firstly to the brothers inside hold it up soldiers, but next time use ya good damn brains. next lesson educate ourselves and close ones about the true value of sikhi through pyar. and if things dont work out, u knw wat to do, forget all these 'internet warriors' who cant even turn up e london when bow was attacked, or other areas where s*** kicks of most of the time. to the person commmenting that we scared or pakistanis and kaleh and polish , ahahahaha u make me laugh man, u must live amongst those fat singhs in saroop with big kirpans who do kamai through langar eating, althought i must say there better then me in that sense as im not in guru ji's bana, at least the kaan peehn type of punjabi/sikh wat ever u want to call it has a bit of ankh, there needs to be a movement on a mass scale - jago ur a race or warriors, a race of people that fought 1 v 125,000, a race of people who declared war openly with oppressive governments of the time. educate each other, love eachother and the unity comes part and parcel - trust me and for god sakes, hit the gym, learn some basic arts. if u dont have the privelege of growing up in rough areas/situaionts learn some boxing/mma/muay thai/escrima etc and learn ur history and cut down on the rotis.... unless ur gabroo jawan :D
  19. short response there are loads of INDIVIDUALS who are doing seva, by themselves around the whole globe. a proper Sikh charity who travelled to many desinations inc bosnia, tsumani struck areas, etc first one that springs to mind is Khalsa Aid, however I believe they have now dispanded and continue work individually or in small groups.
  20. nice vid, there was an Akhand paath arranged, which I attented in yaad of Shaheed Udham Singh's jaman din, which ended on 28 / 12 / 08 at Khalsa Jatha Gurudwara Shepherds Bush London (first Gurukhar in whole of E.U), Udham Singh was regular at this GuruKhar and if you go there you will see many rare pictures of this, he also resided for some time at this particular gurukhar. There are more events in the pipeline for Gurukhar as there is not many sangat at all or events held here. I will keep everyone posted.
  21. You raise some valid points about the Badal clan which I dont deny at all. I have answered some through PM. Firslty I would suggest speaking to a Zimbabwean, some of them feel as though even Mugabe tried to play a background role, he is the main culprit and thats not coming from me that's coming from a Zimbabwean who has since settled here in the U.K due to the climate in Zimbabwae. Secondly the point about Mugabe & his advisor is merely that of demonstrating the relationship between president and his 'right-hand', so if Mugabe wouldnt himself come other concerned Zimbabwean's would raise the issue with him. I'm not comparing 84 Genocide with Mugabe. Thirdly, Im sure if a concern is raised in proper manner Ahluwalia could give his stance on the 84 Genocide and other injustices that are still rife, he could even give advice or pointers, seeing as though he is a policy advisor.
