True.. I noticed their was one case of this white policeman in kent,uk who had murdered his wife and kids because he had found out she had cheated on him. Yet take a similar story of an asian pakistani muslim man from berkshire who murdered his wife and kid yet he along with the asian community is protrayed worser by attaching this dumb concept of honour killings to the case. Honour is a very traditionalist concept, it can be argued that because people in the west do not respect honour these days that is why society is going down the pan as people have no respect for others or self respect. So honour is important to maintain, especially if you want respect and a ordered healthy society. I was listening to this radio program where this white presenter was saying how asian youths these days are getting as bad as the black and white kids. He was praising and idolising how asian parents kept their kids out of trouble in the past because of strong traditionalist family unit and values but as generations go past, the british born asian kids are adopting the bad traits of western society and all the problems that brings (ie one parent families, multiple sexual partners=more STDs around, more kids taking up violent crime,etc)

To my knowledge Sikh seperatist groups have no interest in harming canada or canadians, their beef is not with canada or western countries. But when she went out to visit a cinema, her mother and uncle ambushed her and bundled her into a car. But Dan Gaskell, mitigating for the mother and uncle, said: "It was a totally misguided attempt to return this young girl to the family - to return her home, sit her down and sort things out. "There was no intention of any forced marriage and no religious aspect to the case - this was perpetrated out of genuine concern." Judge Christopher Plunkett, at Leicester Crown Court, dismissed the teenager's claims that her mother wanted to force an arranged marriage. He told the two accused: "The two of you bundled your daughter into the back of your car, you drove her away against her will and you kept her against her will for a number of hours. "If I was of the opinion that you had carried out this offence to get her to enter into an arranged marriage, I would not hesitate to send you to prison. This operation was, however ill-judged and, however misconceived, at its root well-intentioned. "The result has been tragic - your daughter is estranged, you have lost her trust. Whatever you say your intention was, she is left in fear. This sort of behaviour is entirely unacceptable." Yesterday, the girl's mother and uncle, who cannot be named, were given a 12-month suspended sentence and ordered to do a total of 205 hours of unpaid work between them. lol indian media makes me laugh. The best way you fight this type of propaganda is to use factual propaganda against them. Create as many websites and youtube videos highlighting links between who you percieve to be behind the recent attacks and what their agenda is. I don't know if this "Bahadar Singh" was a Sikh or not to start of with. I do know he has quite a wide knowledge of religions suggesting he is/was a student/teacher of religion. My personal belief is he was a Shia from birth but found deep interest in Sikh philosophy and was wavering between the two. He never in his posts seems to bring up the character of prophet muhammad nor does he talk about aspects of islam which non-muslims find abhorant. Netherless I have more respect and a better dialogue with shia and sufi muslims than the fanatical muslims of mainstream sects (waahabiya/sunni,etc). I understand your point but do not view them as "Sikh girls" view them as punjabi/indian girls. Lets not drag reputation of our sisters in the pigsty even though others try to do. I know plenty of muslim and more so hindu girls who also do things undercover that if their families knew they would be kicked out of their houses or worse.
