  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Veerji u can go to www.gurmatsagar.com. They upload keertan from darbar sahib everyday and also have 3 months old archives.
  2. Veerji dont translate gurbani according to yourself. "Kaam" in the shabad you mentioned does not mean kaam vaasna. It means kaamna. please refer to all teekas. it has several other meanings.
  3. 31 no. is the oldest shop and they have more stuff than the other one. ( sarbloh shasters and other stuff). 31 no. is not dhumma owned, its is operated by ajnala jatha ( bhai amrik singh) as u can see all the gutka sahib they sell has written sant jarnail singh ji as mukhi of taksal. the other one is dhumma owned. though 31 no. is no more 31 no. now as the numbers have changed. it is in the shopping complex. but dont let them know u are from abroad. they tend to raise their prices if they come to know. but 31 no. rate is reasonable than most other taksal shops. if u are just looking to buy sri sahibs, go to bhinder kalan instead coz taksali sri sahibs are made there and then delivered to different locations.
  4. they talking about giani ram singh who declared himself mukhi while baba thakur singh ji was still present. dhumma said he agrees with baba thakur singh ji about sant jarnail singh jis's chardikala, but after baba ji left for sachkhand he declared sant ji shaheed.

  6. Just do Chaupayi Sahib. "Sunai Gung Jo Yahae So Rasna Paavayi, Sunai Moorh Chit Laaye Chaturta Aavayi"
  7. Yes, this is a big problem in kids, mainly who are born here( not all but most of them). It really hurts when i see amritdhari kids abusing( even in Gurudwaras) as if its so cool and that too when they study in Khalsa school. Im not sure but i think its because their parents dont raise them in a proper gurmat way. I have seen many of them become amritdhari just becoz their friends are but they do not follow rehat. Their parents say that they are just kids and they need not to follow rehat strictly. And theres a recent trend i ve seen that small kids are allowed to wear elastic kachera and not the one with nala coz their parents say it difficult for them to tie nala. Even they say that its nothing wrong to wear hats, i ve seen many of them wearing it on haloween and did other stupid makeups. They look down on the Singhs from India or those who stay simple as if they are the pendu Gavaars and they themselves are the mordern day sikhs. I think this modernization is going to hurt us someday. As our santheya teachers says that" ajj kal sikh zyada modern ho gaye aa, juraaban(socks) samet hi guru darbaar ch chale jaande aa, dekhiyo kite zyada tarakki na kar jaayeo, kal nu kite joreyan ( shoe) samet hi na jaan lagg jayo). Even tying dumaalle has become a fashion, one who do not wear a dummala is not considered as chardikala wala, Singhnis wear revealing clothes and go to parties which a matter of concern. and they come to gurudwara on a particular day when there is simran or AKJ samagam as if Guru ji is not present on any other day. This is not the case with everyone, but most of them
  8. Let me add some more ways of matha tek here. I dont know which one is the perfect way(depends on individuals sharda). Our Santheya teacher explains 3 different ways of it. 1. Ashtaang Bandna ( the way Consciousness veerji explained, touching ur forehead and 8 other angs) 2. Dandaut Bandna ( laying flat before Guruji) 3. Matha Tek in Bir aasan ( As Sant Jarnail Singh Ji used to do and most of the taksali Singhs do) Also they told that ur palms should be facing the ground, imagining as if u r touching the feet of Guru Sahib.
  9. It comes in Naank prakash katha that Akal Purakh himself dig the sarovar, where Har Ki Pauri is situated these days. Sarovars have nothing to do with teerath ishnaans. It is the water which has the significance. Our santhiya teacher( student of sant gurbachan singh ji) explains that water is such an element which absorbs all the vibrations and energy. It is just simple water, which becomes amrit after reading of Baanis. At Harmandir sahib, keertan is done throughout the day which affects the water that is why it is called amrit sarovar. That is why Guru Arjan Dev Ji created amrit sarovar. If it was of no use Guru ji would not have created it, coz Guru Ji never wanted Sikhs to fall in traps of Brahmins at various teeraths, so Guru Ji created our own teerath for us. Sant Jarnail Singh never missed the amrit vela ishnaan at Harmandir Sahib. Theres a sakhi related to it. When Sant Ji surrendered himself, two Singhs accompanied him to Jail. Sant Ji said to them that we are not going to miss the amrit vela ishnan at darbaar sahib, Singhs did not took it seriously. Whn the singhs woke up at amrit vela Sant ji was not there in the jail. They shouted and called policemen and asked if they had done something to Sant ji , but the policemen instead said that they both have helped Sant ji to escape. When it was around ten o clock in the morning, Sant Jarnail Singh was seen coming to the jail from the entrance gate. Everyone asked that where he was. He replied that i told you before that i m not going to miss the amrit vela ishnaan at Harmandir Sahib. The policemen said that these 4 walls are not capable of keeping you imprisioned, there is no such jail which can imprison you, you are great, and after few days only they released Sant Ji. There was also a person who had cancer and came to sant ji, he was not able to move even. Sant ji sent a singh with him and told him to constantly pour amrit sarovar's jal into his head and do sukhmani sahibs path and his cancer was cured. Theres a recent case where a girl got his eyesight back after doing ishnaan in the sarovar. you can even see the video at youtube So it all depends on one's sharda. If we no sharda and just taking a dip in sarovar coz everyone else is. that might be of no use. But i have personal experience with this. whenever i do Ishnaan at amrit sarovar, it feels as if a lot of burden has been lifted off me. Even when i m not feeling physically well, i get relief by taking bath at amrit sarovar.
  10. You can also check calgarykeertan.com for live online santhiya. Timings are given on the site main page
  11. I m not sure about burrying coz Panj Pyaare told me to do Jal Parvah. Even I dont have running water near me but i collect all the ash in a bag and whenever there's a chance to visit India or some fellow Singhs go towards B.C. i request them to do this seva.
  12. After burning dont leave them like that. Collect the ash in a bag and jal parvah.
  13. Guru Gobind Singh Ji says" Bina Shastr Kesun Narun Bhedh Jaano", "Bina Tegh Kesun Divo Na Deedare". Without weapons and Hairs, a person is like sheep and without them Guru Ji would never give His divine darshan to such a person.
  14. Once Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji went to a village for a Katha and some people didnt let him do so. After listening to them their views were changed and villagers asked for forgiveness. but sant ji said that its not your fault, there must be something wrong in me and my sikhi jeevan, otherwise why would u try to stop me. Puratan singhs used to be in such Chardikala that every single word which came from their mouth used to leave a mark on people's heart thats why so many sikhs listened to Sant Jarnail Singh. On the other side someone like me always try to argue with others. Some Chardikala Singhs told me in Gurudwara Sahib that try to stay away from arguements. If you will achieve some gyan by Guru Ji's grace ur jeevan itself will speak for you, and it will have more affect on others. like Sant Kartar Singh Ji said that if u re in chardikala then even ur actions like sitting, walking will affect others. But i always see myself landed into arguements. Guru Ji says" Parh Pustak Sandheya Baadung", reading few books, i start believing as if im a Brahmgyani and start argueing with others. So please do ardas for me, that Guru Ji cures this disease of mine. If Ive said anything wrong to anyone, im sorry. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Fateh.
  15. you misunderstood me brother. i also said in my post that they condemned the bad practices followed by their respective religion. But if we say only sikhs can go to sachkhand then thats what aurangzeb was trying to do( convert everyone to islam) coz they also say that other religions people are kaafirs. I agree with u that all bhagats were above any religion, they were the roop of God, " Har Harjan Doi Ek Hai". But Baba Fareed Ji says in his sloks " Uth Fareeda Ujoo Saaj Subah Niwaaj Gujaar. Jo Sir Saaeen Na Nivai So Sir Kapp Utaar". And he used to perform Namaaz. I respect ur views and Sikhi is the easiest way Guru Ji showed us to Sachkhand we should be thankful to Guruji that we were born in Sikh Families but we cant say that someone else cannot be there. well the discussion is never going to end. I dont know why are we arguing on this. We should be worried about booking a place for ourselves in sachkhand. Sikhism is really deep and i dont have enough 'Budh' by which i can describe it. my view might be wrong."Kaha Budh Prabh Tuschh Hamaari Barn Sakai Mahima Jo Tihari". But one thing u all might have noticed that we all(including me) try to cut others views. No two persons can have same views but we try our best to force our views on others, although we know that others views are never going to be changed, because we dont have such jeevans to do so. But our ego comes in our way which compells us to counter others. We think to ourselves that how can another person prove me wrong and as a result we start arguing with them. but this should not happen. We are not folllowing the way to Sachkhand. No doubt there might be many Chardikala Singhs and Singhnis on this Site but i know about my condition. Bhagat Kabeer Ji describes the condition of someone like me" Kaho Kabeer Shooscha Ghat Bolai, Bharia hoye su Kabho Na Dolai". Only the empty vessels make noises. Bhul Chuk Layi Muaafi Deyo Ji . Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
  16. Guru Granth Sahib Ji includes bani of 15 Bhagats and they were from different religion. Sheikh Farid Ji, Bhagat Kabeer Ji were muslims. Bhagat Naamdev Ji, Bhagat Ramanand Ji were Hindu but it doesnt mean they havent met God. Bhagat naamdev ji was a hindu but he codemned the practises followed by brahmans. Many of Guru Ji followers were from other religion. Saai Mia Meer Ji, who laid the foundation of Harmandir Sahib was a muslim, Bhai Nand Lal Ji was Hindu, though he became Sikh afterwards and there are many other examples. It doesnt matter from which religion you are you can be one with God. But why we Sikhs are lucky because our Guru Ji left us with pure Brahmgyan in the roop of Guru Granth Sahib Ji rather than other religions' scriptures which mostly include karam kaands, but if someone being from those religions rise above these karamkaands and understand the concept of seeing one supreme lord in everyone its possible meet God. Bhagat Naamdev Ji saw God even in a dog. We all are sons of one supreme lord. As Guru ji says " Hindu Turk Koi Raafzi Imaam Saafi, Maanas Ki Jaat Sabhai Ekai Pehchanbo." " Jimin Jaman Ke Bikhai Samast Ek Jot Hai", "Aval Allah Noor Upaya, Kudrat Ke Sab Bande"," Koi Bolai Raam Raam Koi Khudaye". Guru Ji taught us equality but we still divide people on basis of caste, religion. Guru Ji said unless we see one lord in everyone, we are not going to be one with the lord. Je Kuch Galat bol geya hova ta chhota veer samaj ke Bhul Chuk Layi Muaafi De Dena Ji Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

  18. well veerji u should respect the Hukum of Panj Pyaare as they are Guru's roop and while Amrit Sanchar they tell all the amrit abhilaakhis not to marry a non amritdhari. it would be difficult for u if she refuse to take amrit afterwards. i ve seen many couples who face problems because one of them is not ready to take amrit and even if the partner takes it under pressure that would be his/her wish. Why are u marrying a non amritdhari girl. is there a shortage of amritdhari girls. i ve seen this in Punjab that boys cut their hairs coz girls dont want to marry them. So what has happened to khalsa, who does not want to marry an amritdhari.
  19. well how can u say Guru Nanak Dev Ji was not Amritdhari, he himself is a ocean of amrit and there is no difference between Guru Nanak Dev Ji and other nine gurus. They were all Guru Nanak's jyot, it was the bodies which changed. So when Guru Nanak Dev Ji was in his Tenth saroop, HE gave us Khande Di Pahul and Guru Ji himself took it afterwards because Guru Ji knew that someone like you might raise a question that Guru ji was not Amritdhari.
  20. Katha was not being done at darbar sahib even at guru ji's time. it was done only once by Guru Arjan Dev Ji himsellf, on the first parkash of Guru Granth Sahib JI. After that Hukumnama Katha was done in Manji Sahib Diwan Hall which is infront of Langar Hall building and since then it is done there only and a lot of sangat gathers there to listen to the katha. Sant Jarnail Singh Ji also used to do katha there. And who says sangat just matha tek and goes back from darbar sahib. Everyday sangat can be seen sitting in parkarma of darbar sahib and listenning to the kirtan from amrit vela till late night and enjoying the heavenly experience. its a different story if someone just go there for a picnic, but if someone goes there with full devotion, one definitely takes a lot back with him and even i ve seen some chardfikala singhs and singhnis who left there home and stay in the parkarma and do seva since last 30 years. So never say sangat has nothing much to do there, if someone wants to listen to kirtan he/she can listen in darbar sahib, dhadhi and kavishri vaars are sung infront of Akal Takht Sahib, Katha is done at Manji Sahib. If someone wants to do do seva, he/she can go to langar hall or the seva of whole parkarma is done at amrit vela. You have everything to do there, it all depents on your shardha. Once you step into Harmandir Sahib you are in Sachkhand and that experience can never be matched with anthing else. So never say u don't experience Sikhi in Harmandir Sahib, it is the centre of Sikhism. Once Rabindranath Tagore was on India Tour, he went to all places, when he came to Kashmir, the guide with him said, this is the heaven on earth. When Tagore came to Harmandir Sahib, he said that if anywhere there is a heaven on earth, its here. If i ve said anything wrong, please forgive me. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Fateh.
