  4. the drunks are brought in on behalf of the pardaan by sukhdev sidhu, who owns the British Queen Pub & other licensed premises and is now opening another wedding party hall near Gurdwara Guru Har Rai Sahib, high st, west bromwich. the pardaan/dictator is not going to give any response. he decided he is not doing any meetings with the committee since this incident and is avoiding the issue as he doesnt see there is any problem. bruv whats the point? it's smethwick - people are used to the fights and arguments now, nobody's gonna do anything bout it.
  5. The president (tarsem shokar) of the gurdwara has been inviting a group of Monay Sharabis into the gurdwara to threaten and bully the other committee members. he gave them a key to the room in the gurdwara so that they could freely enter and leave with alcohol and socialise. he did this so that these sharabis would threaten everybody in the committee and so the president could pass many changes to the gurdwara to make it easier for them to gain control in future. the Police were due to set up a stand in that room and when they entered the locked Gurdwara room to which only the president and these sharabis had a key, it had bottles of alcohol. the Sharabis being caught red-handed tried to blame the Police officers! this is how low the panth has gone! These sharabis did beadbi in the main hall on many occasions causing many fights in presence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. the president is responsible for this its sad to admit this is the state of of the panth. under this president's watch there has also been a massive Rat Infestation with rats found even in sach khand and langar. environmental health are very angry at how badly the temple is being managed at the top and on more than one occasion has threatened complete closure.
  6. thanks, well worth downloading & adding to favourites
  7. Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Smethwick was the first Gurdwara in Europe to be purchased for the sole use of worship by the Sikh community. Now it is fast becomming a place where the old folks go to argue. A keen eye is not needed to see although the Committee think they're "expanding the Gurdwara" the building itself is infested with rats and there is no satkaar for GuruJi. A Youth Camp was to be held but the President and his Cronies have cancelled it. My children and their friends are SO disappointed. I know there's one being held in Wednesbury area but that is very far for local Sangat and Parents to take them daily. What's the point in having a Gurdwara if you're not going to allow youngsters to come and learn about Sikhi? Majority of kids dont normally attend and are put off by these fat old men who sit at the front squabbling for the limelight. Isnt the one chance they get to understand their background is at Camps? Please call or even better, visit the Gurdwara in person to ask them to explain themselves. Guru Nanak Gurdwara, High St, Smethwick, B66 3AP 0121 5582527 If the President & his Cronies don't like children learning about Sikhee let's please find them a place more suited to their interests like an Old folk's home or a Pub.
  8. i think its at http://www.sikhee.com/downloads.html then "Gurbani" then Sri Dasam
  9. None of us are Mahapurash so we're probably not qualified to say who is or isnt or exactly what the criteria are. But all of us have had our downers and times we've been away from sikhi i was wondering what are the criteria for being a Moorakh? i dunno.. does not having shardhaa in Gurbani or projecting personal problems have anything to do with it?
  10. honestly after recent events? No completely mixed youth shows welcomed
  11. so i take it he did swear on the Gutka before telling lies in Court? since you are saying the law means nothing, for his appeal why dont all your criminal friends chip in and get him the best lawyers corrupt money can buy? WISH YOU WERE HERE?
  12. Sonia of course we are jealous, look.. so he lied? big deal he lied in court? big deal he lied in court after swearing on Sikh Scriptures? big deal it's not like you wouldnt do the same eh Sonia? we are jealous, we wish we were with him right now.. if you're gonna sell out, get used to the consequences :-) tell ya what, how about we do a raffle in aid of Mr Sidhu?
  13. Sidhu was found guilty of perjury for lying under oath, what chance has an appeal got considering the jury found him guilty unanimously?
  14. Sonia is a public figure and chose to bring him into the limelight. Now all of a sudden that he has been convicted as a criminal, everyone is distancing themselves. The Gutka would only mean something to those who haven't already sold their souls to Corrupt people, the BBC or others. http://www.emgonline...s.php?news=8657 http://www.kismatrad...m/news/?id=2904
  15. the blood of thousands of innocent people killed since 1984 is not just on the hands of the army & police with fingers on the triggers but on those who have helped in the media coverup and false propoganda which has alienated sikhs and denied them justice for over 25 years. clearly liars, corruption, perjurers, criminals and mass murderers have all got a place in the BBC, Indian Government & Congress Party but not in our dharam.
  16. BiggChann & Paneer Monster are right. i'm sorry but stating the facts is not Nindyaa. Lieing like Sonia and Balkar do is. the fact is: Sonia Deol gets paid to LIE on camera Balkar got paid to LIE in court one's deceit has been exposed in court and the other's lies is being exposed as we speak. didnt Sikhs up and down the country react strongly to the propoganda documentary Sonia made because it was full of BS? do you get convicted for no reason or are you innocent until proven guilty in this country? if you cant do the time how about don't do the crime? havent criminals always been named in this country to prevent the chance of reoffending? this isnt India where the State can try every trick in the book to pin a case against Saints and yet still not succeed and have to murder them and cover their tracks with the help of sellouts working for the BBC. sant kee nindaa jonee bhavnaa. Slandering the Saints, the mortal wanders in reincarnation. sant kee nindaa rogee karnaa. Slandering the Saints, he is diseased. our family has suffered 250,000 innocent deaths since 1984 and still no justice thanks to the deceit of these sellouts, how much longer should WE suffer?
  17. Very Good News as brothers & sisters we should take more steps together in future to challenge those who take advantage of us all by creating controversies for their own personal gain. this small minority 3rd group who wish to exploit people and create divisions by behaving contrary to the teachings of Bhagat Ravidas Ji & Guru Nanak Ji we must challenge them & vote them out at any elections and not allow them to spread their hatred. we should stop following & bowing to flawed selfish human beings and respect Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Well done to Federation of Sikh Organisations (UK) and Sri Ravidas Sabha (UK) and all congratulations and love to all mankind.
  18. Bhagat Ravidaas jee was born on Ravivaar (Sunday) into family whose members were declared untouchable by the ancient Indian caste-system philosophy. According to the ancient caste system, humans were 'in principle' high or low according to their birth and no action could alter this inferiority or superiority. Bhagat jee was born into the family of Bhai Santokh Daas jee and Bibi Kalsi Devi Jee, who were poor leather-makers ('Chamaars') by caste and occupation. He was barely five days old when Bhagat Ramanand jee visited his house and blessed the child. "That family, into which a devotee of Waheguru is born, whether of high or low social class, whether rich or poor, shall have its pure fragrance spread all over the world. ||1||Pause||" (Bhagat Ravidaas jee, Ang 858) Adulthood When Bhagat jee was old enough, he got married and his father inspired him to join the family business. But Bhagat Ravidaas jee was absorbed in devotion of Waheguru. The money he received from his father for business, he spent in the welfare of the Saints and needy. His father was extremely angry with him and threw him out of the house. Bhagat jee did not regret his actions and quietly left home and began to live in a small hut with his wife where they decided to set up a small shop of making and repairing shoes. "O humble townspeople! I am obviously just a Chamaar, shoemaker, (which you people consider low), but in my heart I cherish the Glories of Waheguru (and for this reason I am no longer low). ||1||Pause||" (Bhagat Ravidaas jee, Ang 1293) The Revealing of 'Dhur Kee Baanee' With True Guru's Grace, Bhagat jee reached God-consciousness (Brahm-Gyaan) and experienced Waheguru's Divine Light. He was blessed with the gift of revealing Gurbani sent by Waheguru for the benefit of humanity. Forty Shabads were revealed through Bhagat jee that were later incorporated in Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee by Guru Arjan Dev jee. One may think why wasn't Bhagat Ravidaas jee called 'Guru' if he revealed Gurbani? The late Giani Sant Singh Maskeen gave the following analogy to explain the difference between Guru and Bhagat. There is one child who opens his eyes and realizes he is sitting in his mother's lap, and other has to crawl to his mother and then sits in her lap. Then Ten Sikh Gurus had Brahm-Gyaan from the very beginning. They opened their eyes and they were already sitting in the lap of Waheguru. On the other hand, the Bhagats were those who in some point of their life, after spiritual work and effort, experienced the Divine Light and sat in the lap of Waheguru Once they reached this level, Waheguru revealed the Shabad Guru to humanity through these chosen Bhagats. As a consequence there is no difference between the Shabad (Gurbaani) revealed through the Sikh Gurus and the Bhagats. Both are 'Gurbani'. "The Lord who created the whole creation and watches over all is hidden in each and every heart; He reveals Himself in the humble saints who fall at the feet of the Guru. Those saints chant the Name of the Lord and are drenched with the Lord's Love. Their minds are drenched with the Ambrosial Water of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||3||" (Guru Nanak Dev jee, Ang 1171) The Queen of Chitaur The queen of Chitaur, Maharani Jhally, had heard of Bhagat Ravidaas jee's greatness. On pilgrimage to Banaaras she visited Bhagat Ravidaas jee and heard Gurbani being sung. Hearing the Divine Praises of Waheguru she became a follower of Bhagat jee. However, the king got enraged on hearing that that his wife had made a low-caste cobbler her Guru. The queen tried to convince her husband of Bhagat jee's greatness which made his mind confused whether or not Bhagat jee was a great saint or not. In order to test Bhagat jee, the king invited him to Chitaur and requested to participate in a religious feast. The Brahmin priests refused to eat alongside a low-caste. Hearing this Bhagat jee moved away. But miraculously, the Brahmins started seeing every person distributing food look like Bhagat jee. They complained to the king. The king understood the mystery and meaning of the incident and became a follower of Bhagat jee. "It is my occupation to prepare and cut leather; each day, I carry the carcasses out of the city. But (O Waheguru!) Your slave who was born in that social-class has come into the sanctuary of Your Naam (Divine-Name), and now the important Brahmins of the city bow down before me. ||3||1||" (Bhagat Ravidaas jee, Ang 1293) Undying Faith in Naam It is said that once a wealthy man felt sorry at Bhagat Ravidaas jee living in poverty and so offered Bhagat jee with the gift of a 'paaras' (the philosopher's stone that turns cheaper metal into Gold). The man assured Bhagat jee that he could get any amount of wealth by making use of it. Bhagat jee asked him to place it in a corner. A few month later, when the same man came to see Bhagat Ravidaas jee, he found the Bhagat jee still living in poverty. He asked Bhagat jee why he had not used the philosopher's stone. Bhagat jee replied, "God's Name alone is the paaras." "O Ravidaas! Say- (those who have been plundered by desires) all run around deluded like madmen and do not understand (that the true support of Life is Waheguru's Name); I have the Lord's Name as my only Support; He is my life, my breath of life, my wealth. ||3||1||" (Bhagat Ravidaas jee, Ang 974) Bhagat jee lived to a ripe old age of 151 years, and died in 1529 at Chittor, in Rajasthan. An umbrella-like tomb in his memory still stands there. It was Bhagat Ravidaas jee' firm faith in Waheguru that he was able to ultimately achieve oneness and union with the Creator. "O Ravidaas, the tanner! Say- (As I deal with the Lord's Name, I know that) the love of this world is like the pale, temporary color of the safflower. However, the color of my Lord's Love is permanent, like the dye of the madder plant. ||4||1||" (Bhagat Ravidaas jee, Ang 346) Reality is there is no difference between Satguru Jee's Beloved. There is no difference in Message of Bhagat Ravidas & Sikhi. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the culmination of the Bhagti Movement & the Gurus and Khalsa is the culmination of centuries of oppression against the common man. There are those who in modern times decided to create hatred between common men to keep them divided and easy to rule over. This is why there are so many State-funded Deray in Punjab. These State-funded Deray & Fake Gurus mean the common man is divided on faith but during elections the parties only have to say the word and the Faker Guru can canvas all his supporters in one go. The real Brahmins are manipulating the common man away from the message of Bhagat Ravidas Ji. There is no real difference between one Bhagat & another. Only Maya. The problem is now we have Mayadhari people who have no dharam as our leaders be they SGPC or Fake Gurus or Deray these people are dividing the common man on caste lines. SGPC is run by Political Akali Dal which wants Punjab State & all Sikh institutions to be controlled by Parkash Badal so people are divided on caste lines otherwise they would lose their grip. Deray & Fake Gurus receive huge money from State & Agencies and are very wealthy thanks to the hatred and divisions they create. While Fake Gurus like that of "Sant Nirankari Mission" are given Diplomatic Passport by the State to go spread hatred all over the world whilst the common man cannot even support their families. so why should we bow to these pakhandi humans? When Bhagat Ravidas Ji was himself a Shishya of Bhagat Ramanand Ji whose Bani is also in Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the other Shishya who attained Giaan side-by-side such as Bhagat Kabir and their Bani is also in Guru Granth Sahib then who can separate what God Himself has formed? Reject Hatred. We are One.
  19. these modern Singh Sabha Missionary Scholars have lost the plot
  20. "vah your post was full of lies, hate and incentive to prove your faith correct... Guru Singh Sabha" brother Jujhar Singh, i have namdhari friends & we get along great, but we agree to disagree over this topic. they agree to greater satkar for Bani & i agree to satkar for Baba Ram Singh & we leave it there. we should have no needless issues with the common man whatever he is a follower of as sikhi teaches sarbat da bhalla. as for Singh Sabha lol im no fan.. they've gone too far recently as do many sects/groups inc. dare i say it.. dehdhari followers.. we're not so dissimilair. you have shardha & pyaar for Gursikhs like Baba Ram Singh ji which i admire. Baba Ram Singh ji had a jeevani that nobody on this forum or most Sikhs can touch. hence i can understand why people believed he could lead sikhs to freedom be it spiritual or political. i was gifted a namdhari gutka which ive used as it is very reliable for Guru Granth Sahib & Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Bani.. although i admit i dont agree with ardas or history in it. so dont let me stop you from respecting Gursikhs who have shardhaa in Adi Guru Granth Sahib but i say this from my own pathetic life that when you are backed in a corner & all alone and you've screamed and shouted and nobody hears your cries thats when we realise value of Gurbani over all else
