Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. yes. youre right ji. my mommy read it once and well...she was a bit more active than usual. its not bad to read it. no Baani is bad to read, no matter what time of day it is. its just that it was read before the battles because the Singhs wanted more power in them while fighting. someone told me that it actually depends on the person who reads this Paat(h) because if youre a person who cant really handle your temper or energy, then you should be more careful. my mommy doesnt let me read it because she knows that i can get really over-active at times; but anywhoooo....thats what i heard and what i've seen from my mommy. so cetain people might have a 'hyper-active-wacko' time after reading it. thats what i would call a typical guy as well. anywhooooo... Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa. Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. i dont really think this has a lot to do with 'dirtyness' or 'cleanliness'. i think it has to with purity/impurity. this also relates to why feathers of a peacock are sometimes put in the Gurudwara, (to represent purity because of the way they are created by God). think about it. considering how female Punjabis are, do you really think that they're going to go up to a bhai sahib and say "I am pure right now. I do not have my period at the moment, so that means that I can do sewa." ??? i dont think so...this sewa thing is actually opposing women's sewa for all time. this isnt good. i think its just gone too far now, because that means that women cant do any sewa. :doh: this is something that the youth of today (in countries outside of india) should consider a serious topic. Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. i dont know about anyone else, but i just cant stand listening to these things and looking at such pictures. its just sooooo sad. i just start to cry :wub: and then i get all steamed up and start to swear in my mind at the stupid government of india :wub: ! but i pray for Ppl who are being harmed by the gov't in any way. i live in Canada and this is where i learnt everything about the 84 and after. no one ever even mentioned it. no one ever told me who the singhs were in the pictures hung up on the walls of the Langar. i found out for myself in a documentry in Ontario Khalsa Darbar. its so sad really.
