Any Sangat thinking sending their kids to boarding school, please think again https://news.sky.com/story/boarding-schools-are-an-ideal-environment-for-grooming-report-finds-12554803 Boarding schools an 'ideal environment for grooming', report finds The inquiry examined residential specialist music schools and residential special schools, where children were found to be at greater risk of sexual abuse. Tuesday 1 March 2022 15:36, UK Boarding schools are the "ideal environment for grooming", with children relying more on staff than in non-residential institutions, an investigation into child sexual abuse has found. The report from the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse said that "for some children, their residential school, in effect, may be their home". The inquiry examined residential specialist music schools and residential special schools, where children were found to be at greater risk of sexual abuse. The report said: "In the specialist music schools examined, the power and influence of often revered and influential music teachers made some pupils even more vulnerable to being sexually abused by them. "The reputations of both the musicians and the schools were often seen as more important than their victims and potential victims when allegations were made or concerns were raised. "The response was similar when concerns were raised about well-liked and generally respected members of staff in other school contexts, in both the independent and state sectors." The inquiry also looked at day schools where staff had been convicted of sexually abusing pupils, or where serious safeguarding concerns had arisen.

  8. 'Them' ruining all brown peoples' reputation, again ! https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/news/derby-doctor-who-tried-meet-6706633 Pervert Derby doctor struck off and faces deportation He was tricked by online vigilantes By Callum ParkeTrainee reporter 14:17, 23 FEB 2022 UPDATED15:12, 23 FEB 2022 A Derby doctor who was jailed after travelling for four hours to meet a fictitious 15-year-old girl for sex will never again practice as a medical professional, a tribunal has ruled. Jamil Rehman was jailed for 20 months in September 2021 after driving to West Wales with red roses and orgasm pills to meet a teenager named Kayla, only to be met by self-styled paedophile hunters. The married 35-year-old faces deportation to his native Pakistan after his release from prison and was told that his defence of not wanting to meet the girl for sexual purposes was "frankly laughable" by the judge who sentenced him. Now a tribunal held by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) has erased him from the list of medical practitioners and slammed Rehman for not developing "sufficient insight" about the impact of his offending, adding that "the risk of repetition of his actions remains very high". In the final report, Duncan Toole, chair of the tribunal, said: "The Tribunal was of the view that Dr Rehman had used his position as a medical professional online for the purpose of grooming a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old. It noted that, as part of this conduct, Dr Rehman had sent a picture of himself in ‘medical scrubs’ and had also made references to his medical knowledge about puberty. "The Tribunal considered that this demonstrated an abuse of the special position of trust that a doctor occupies. He had also been required to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years..... "The Tribunal said it agreed that Dr Rehman had not developed sufficient insight, if any at all, into his criminal offence. The Tribunal considered that, given the serious nature of Dr Rehman’s conviction, taken together with the lack of evidence of insight or remediation, his behaviour is fundamentally incompatible with being a doctor.

Daniel Erickson-Hull, now 46, from Plaistow, London, was jailed in 2017 after being convicted of making and possessing hundreds of indecent images of children. After being released later that year, he was supposed to sign the sex offenders' register, was subject to an order banning him from unsupervised contact with children, and was barred from travelling abroad without informing authorities. He ignored these restrictions and relocated to Bulgaria, where he has been living in a deprived Roma neighbourhood called Nadezdha. Erickson-Hull was first exposed by File On 4 in 2019. Now, three years later, journalist Paul Kenyon has revisited the case and revealed how, despite evidence from the BBC, a former devotee and Erickson-Hull's own sister, the paedophile remains at large and the Metropolitan Police has done 'little to stop him'. When Kenyon first met Erickson-Hull, he was posing as a youth pastor. The 2019 footage of the journalist confronting the paedophile went viral and showed the BBC crew were chased away by a mob of his teenage followers, revealing just how deep his ties in the community went. Following the story, an American follower named Dawn Gibbs, who had travelled from Houston, Texas, to work with Erickson-Hull, decided to confront the so-called pastor. When she walked into his room, she found him in bed with two boys. 'I looked at the bed and there's Daniel and one boy is facing him, face-to-face, spooning him, and another boy was spooning him from the rear,' she recalled, as she told her story for the first time. 'The boys immediately jumped out of the bed... There was lots of shouting from the boys. Daniel just sat in the bed like nothing was going on.' Soon afterwards, Dawn decided to leave. When she went to say her goodbyes to the children she discovered just how many boys had been abused. 'This young man interrupts the conversation to say, ''We f****d Daniel. He continued to tell me "yes, don't you know Daniel is gay? We f****d him". 'I told them this was very serious and that I was going to need to speak to Daniel.' Erickson-Hull uses his social media channels to raise money which he gives to the Roma community in Bulgaria. Above, in a video posted online In that room, approximately 15 claimed to have been abused by Erickson-Hull. Some of them told her their little brothers had been preyed upon. The youngest boy Dawn heard from was 10 years old. She said: 'He was just a small, young boy who had one of the worst allegations - that Daniel was performing oral sex on him. Often.' Dawn decided to confront Erickson-Hull again and question him about the allegations. 'I questioned him and he denied it all and told me the children were possessed by demons,' she explained. 'He was amused. He was laughing it off.' Ms Gibbs says she told the Metropolitan Police about his actions but did not receive a reply. Soon after the original File On 4 investigation was broadcast, Bulgarian police raided his apartment and found him with six children. He was charged with abusing eight boys under 16 and was taken to prison to await trial. While he was in custody, the Roma community came together to protest against his arrest.
  10. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10577897/Mother-avoids-jail-sexual-assault-unconscious-woman-smoked-pipe-laced-Spice.html Mother, 41, who sexually assaulted another woman while she was unconscious after smoking cannabis pipe 'laced with Spice' avoids jail Michelle Robson (pictured), 41, from North Shields has kept her freedom after sexually assaulted another woman who had passed out after smoking cannabis pipe 'laced with spice'. Michelle Robson, 41, has been put on the the sex offenders register after she lowered the jeans of an unconscious victim and touched her. The North Tyneside resident said that voices were 'encouraging' her to do so. When the victim awoke during the act and asked what she was doing, Robson claimed she had been 'confused' and said she thought she had been touching her own partner, who was a man. Newcastle Crown Court heard the victim had gone to a house to buy cannabis that day and was offered a 'pipe', which she accepted without realising it had been 'laced with Spice', which caused her to lose consciousness..... Robson, 41, of, North Shields, North Tyneside, admitted sexual assault. Miss Recorder Geraldine Kelly said it was a 'shameful' offence. She added: 'It was carried out on a victim who was helpless at the time and vulnerable because of the state she was in.' The judge said the victim must have felt 'humiliated, degraded and frightened'. But she added there was an 'element of coercion' and Robson was in an abusive relationship and vulnerable herself at the time. The court heard Robson has made progress since the offence and hopes to achieve her HGV licence. She was sentenced to a community order for three years with rehabilitation requirements and £87 costs. She has to sign the sex offenders register for five years.

  18. I thought this was funny news.yahoo.com/amphtml/am-mr-mcadams-tv-anchor-060505135.html An Indian news anchor has inspired jokes and memes after yelling at the wrong guest while debating the Ukraine crisis. Rahul Shivshankar berated a Ukrainian journalist for almost two minutes, thinking he was addressing Daniel McAdams, a US foreign policy commentator. He only realised his mistake when Mr McAdams - the other guest - spoke up. The exchange went viral, making "McAdams" a top Twitter trend in India. Indian viewers are used to news anchors shouting down their panellists and going on rants during their shows. Many of these anchors, including Mr Shivshankar, the editor-in-chief of popular English news channel Times Now, are accused of being biased towards India's governing party, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this instance, Mr Shivshankar was speaking on his show India Upfront to Mr McAdams, executive director of the Ron Paul Institute, and Bohdan Nahaylo, chief editor of Kyiv Post. But the names and titles of the two men were wrongly placed on air, so Mr Nahaylo was identified as Mr McAdams and vice versa. The viral clip began with Mr Shivshankar asking "Daniel McAdams" to "just take a bit of a chill pill". Mr Nahaylo then responds that he doesn't want to relax as his country is at war. Mr Shivshankar proceeds to ask "Mr McAdams" to "get off the fence" and send US troops to Ukraine if he is so concerned about the country. He goes on to rant about "colonial agendas" and the Afghanistan war, interspersing "Mr McAdams" into every other sentence. The real Mr McAdams, in the meantime, is seen trying to make himself heard above the cacophony. "I'm not talking!" he finally manages to burst out. "It's the other guy who's talking!" But Mr Shivshankar, who thought he was now talking to his Ukrainian guest, responded that "Mr McAdams" had "gone completely ballistic" and should "go fight alongside Ukrainians if he felt so strongly about the war". "Dear host, I haven't said a word yet. I don't know why you're yelling at me," the real Mr McAdams persists.
  19. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-60605687 Met officer Adnan Arib jailed for seeking relationship with teenage girls Published 1 hour ago Share IMAGE SOURCE,PA MEDIA Image caption, The judge told Arib he was trying to gain the girls' trust to pursue some sort of sexual relationship A Met officer who used his position to try to start a sexual relationship with "vulnerable" teenagers has been jailed for two years. PC Adnan Arib, 45, contacted two girls, aged 15 and 16, after meeting them while on duty. He met the 15-year-old in a park and sent the older girl dozens of text messages saying she was "very pretty". The married officer had previously been found guilty of two counts of misconduct in a public office. Jurors at Southwark Crown Court heard he continued contact with the 15-year-old after first being called to the girl's flat by her mother, who had accused her of stealing £10, in July 2019. During a conversation in the teenager's bedroom, Arib asked the girl to write her phone number, name and other details on a piece of paper, the court was told. He then met the girl alone in a park and asked her if she had a boyfriend. He suggested taking her out for a drink, which made the 15-year-old feel "uncomfortable", the jury heard. In a victim statement, the girl's mother said Arib's actions meant "we don't feel secure in our own home". Image caption, Arib was based at Bethnal Green police station at the time of the offences He also asked the 16-year-old girl for her phone number and if she was in a relationship, prosecutors said. The girl first came into contact with Arib after being reported as a missing person, the court was told. Arib invited her out after she had been brought into Bethnal Green police station in east London. Officers later found 47 text messages had been sent between them on a phone he initially tried to deny was his. 'Sexual undertone' He told jurors he had been "naive and foolish" but said he believed offering careers guidance to the two girls was part of his wider policing duties. Judge Deborah Taylor said: "What is clear from the evidence in this case is that there was a sexual undertone to your behaviour. "Once the jury had rejected your explanation, the only inference is you were trying to gain their trust to pursue some sort of sexual relationship. "They were both vulnerable, and in your treatment of them you abused the public's trust in you as a police officer."
