  1. interesting... you must have some serious will power.
  2. Well I made it to the gym, so that was good. Bhajee (singh559), what's your actual workout, maybe you need to change it? Atm I am training to tone, so gaining muscle and not having any problems. Do you take extra protein within 60mins of completing a resistance workout? If you are trying to gain, then you can eat extra pasta, rice, bread. Just eat more often, rather than masses that you cant handle. also, how often are you training? You need sufficent rest periods in between workouts.
  3. I would take that as a no bhajee. Now that winter is here, I have been having porridge 2-3 times a week. I also tried white quinoa (as suggested in another thread) and it tastes fine. I have also had red quinoa which seemed to have a different texture... the white one was more like rice and the red was more like seeds, although perhaps that was down to cooking time. I used to eat steamed veg most days with my meals but I have got bored of that so having more salads and snacking on raw veg, nuts and raisins. I need to go training today, had a couple of days off so should have a good workout. Rice and nutella sandwiches, that sounds horrible.
  4. I know what you mean, I like a clean house too. I used to clean the whole house every week and it would be mess as soon as someone was home for an hour. I learnt to stop. I learnt that I cant control other people's habits and nor could I carry on getting stressed or upset over it. After a while, my sister started cleaning and then asking for help... that lasted a little while but the house is often a mess. Unless I know someone is coming round, I dont get myself worked up over it anymore. I keep my room clean and tidy and help out with the rest. I used to remind myself that it's not my house and when I am in a position to buy my own (in the technical sense, obviously nothing is ours and everything is God's), I will keep it as I want it to be, knowing that the kitchen surfaces, tables tops will be clean and things will be as I left them.
  5. All I can say is put some essentials in your hand luggage just incase.
  6. Whatever you do - DO NOT use Air India. I had endless problems (Delays, No baggage when I arrived - they had left all the baggae in London and didnt tell us until we reached Delhi, even then I had to wait days, very poor customer service, Strike on the way back, so further delays).
