  1. We need to support this singh with our wallets too. So people if you can spare some few dollars, pounds, please donate your contrubution to him.

Its better the money goes here, rather than some pardhans petrol tank for his mercedes.

Thanks Unbreakable, here's our latest video. We are looking to step Basics of Sikhi up to the next level, systematically doing parchar at all major universities and Gurdwaras via the WhyGuru Course and other talks. Its all explained in the below

  2. Bhaisahib someone like Jathedaar Balwant Singh Rajoana is an inspiration. They say than imitation is the best form of flattery. So we should imitate gursikhs like Bhai Rajoana who have given their all for the panth and are strong like mountains yet full of love, and through following them, we can also imitate our Guru.

Guru sahib bless his beloved Panth to walk His Walk, read HIS words and Feel His Love

  3. vjkkvjkf bhenji, for Katha in English you can try our channel.. as Jasdeep said above, we''re going through Japji sahib right now,

also check out English Katha by "Bhai Sukha Singh" and also the youtube channel "SikhInspiration" by Bhai Sukhraj SIngh www.youtube.com/sikhinspiration Also, the Late Bhai Parminder Singh from Guru Nanak Academy in Canada did amazing katha.

  4. Welcome mate and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. They are greatly appreciated!

Sikhism as a religion is fantastic and is one of the most liberal, tolerant and forward thinking religions. In fact some of the views which our Gurus taught in the 15th Century (i.e. equality for all regardless of creed, gender, race, caste etc) have only recently been widely accepted in liberal countries such as the US and Australia (last few decades).

It is a religion which focuses a lot on the practical side of things. Some of the main principles are Naam Japna (repeating God's name), Vand Chakna (sharing with others) and Kirat Karna (earning an honest living). Being a good and tolerant person in everyday life is very important and not just sitting at home praying while at the same time thinking you are better than everyone else.

But at the same time I also think that Christianty on the whole and especially looking at the life of Jesus Christ and the message he spread is also very tolerant. The same I think can be said of Islam. Despite the Muslim rulers during the time of our Gurus caused a lot of death and destruction to Sikhs our Holy Scriptures and our current Guru - Guru Granth Sahib- contain verses from Muslim saints of the time.

I believe that pretty much all religions promote peace and tolerance but it is just some of the extremists (which can exist in any religion) which use religion as an excuse to promote intolerance for their own selfish reasons. A good analogy I like to use is that just as there can be different means or paths to reach a certain destination (i.e. car, bus, bike, train) there are also different religions which are there to guide to you to the one same God.

Anyway I hope you like your time here and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

    Cheers!

Well traditinally im a Christian guy who has been, lived with many sikh people.

    1) I really like the way Sikhism has done for the betterment of the world like offereinng food to those who are not of their religion but satisfy their souls & body

its so magnificent ,there are people who don't care for their prents ,& the other side there are people who feed a stranger

    2) I have never seen a Sikh being a supramicist over race or color as its the first non-hindu religion religion in asia to accept the down-trodden "dalit" people ,so it has done a great deal in ending the racist culture in India & starting an equal social change

    3) Sikh are so religious , the offerings they pour to the gurud-wara (i hope im spelling it right) is so magnificient ,they give it with open hearts.

I have never been felt like im an outsider likewise i felt with Muslim people.

Islamits share our religious beliefs but have always treated us badly.

There are some stupid Christian people who behave supreme without even knowing what Lord jesus really taught us to be equal.

This is my step towars the sikh community as an appreacitaion they have done to the community or the great human race ( without discriminating between races ,religions ,color ,wealth, etc)

I'd like to know more about your culture.

    I hope i am welcomed here .

  5. Vaheguru ji ki Khalsa, Vaheguru ji ki Fateh,

@Singh559, thanks ji for your promoting the videos, I've never used SikhSangat.com before. As most people are aware, our youth dont have many resources, expecially not advertising budgets. The Gurdwaras who hold our panths golak wont even put up posters or make annoucements, let alone help us financially.

This is why every Sikh should share parchar, by any jathebandi or none, becuase in Kalyug, people need all the help they can. Social media is only useful if people share.

Our latest video is about an interesting shabad by Guru Ram Das ji about whether we should be like sheep or lions and our true potential on this path. seva parvaan karni ji,

Vaheguru ji ki Khalsa, Vaheguru ji ki Fateh
