  1. Satsriakaal. "You were kicked out of your home land in west punjab by muslims." Brother no offense, but i think this view is totally wrong. I think this is because what about those Muslims who were forced out of East Punjab by the SIKHS and hindus? And Muslims are allowed to befriend anyone from any other religion. "I have seen countless Muslim scholars on TV, Radio as well as other media tell this LIE many times." Brother please can you give us a example of this... and if this is true wot about our Granthi's and our Gurdwara managment commitee's that do beedbi (lol dunno how to spell)? Isnt that lieing and cheating just as bad? "Aurangzeb made false oaths on the Koran to Guruji" Isnt this as bad as the honour killing brother which a Sikh done and shaved his hair (this was the news yrs ago)... isnt that as bad as that false oath... because he just shrown away the Sikhi roop that Guru ji gave? What kind of Sikh was he? Does that mean Sikhi tells us to do this? What im trying to say is plaese dont judge any faith because of the action of its followers. "To be a true Muslim you have to believe in the Koran" brother, To be a true Sikh dont you have to believe in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji? Plaese dont be prejudice against Muslims. Plaese forgive me for any mistakes, im not having a go at you, its just that i found your sayings abit biased... and sorry if offended. Satsriakaal and peace.
  2. Sikhs are dying out in India Something subtle and sad is occuring in the Indian state of Punjab. Sikh's are flooding out of India in record numbers, often with the tacit approval and encouragement of the government of India. Why? Well for one, they will leave India, go and work abroad. Then send their remittance back to India helping the Indian government economically and distancing themselves from the violence and disenchantment plaguing Indian punjab. Those few that remain, will be offered services in the Army & Police and put into active duty where they can worry about Nuclear war with neighbooring Pakistan rather than troubles closer to home in their home Indian province. The remaining unlucky ones, will be rounded up, tortured as usual or simply made to dissapear. ALso, The former province of Punjab has already been carved up and reduced in size from its previous shape at independence reducing it by more than 30%. Whats left of the original punjab, has experienced a massive efflux of SIkhs, particulary males to other parts of the country or abroad. To compound this problem, Punjabis also practice female infanticide whereby this region has the highest discrepency in the Male to Female ratio (@ 1000 males to 750 females) meaning that 25% have to marry out. Since the 1970's, a large influx of low caste hindu labourers have been moving in and altering the ethnic make-up of the Punjab province. Couple to this that due to the sex ratio discrepency, SIkhs are intermarrying with non-punjabi blood lines like the aforementioned hindu labourers but often from as far away as the province of Orissa is proving very disturbing. It is forecasted that by the next generation, The Sikh will no longer be able to maintain a strong link to the Punjab in view of his/her changed racial and genetic markers. With the large efflux away from their province, and equally large influx and higher growth rate of hindu labourers in punjab, the SIkhs will lose their majority stature in this province within the next 10-15 years. Currently they represent @ 60% of the provinces population, down from 81% just after independence. in a few decades they will become a minority in their former province. Cultural assimilation of the SIkhs has already started with many of their wedding customs following Hindu traditions(walking around fire) and even socially with Sikh women adopting the bhindi and wearing Sari outfits both strongly linked to Hindu culture. Whereas just a few years ago, Sikhs proudly announced their Punjabi heritage, the newer generation, rather unkowingly, confusingly and perhaps unwittingly states that he is Indian only. We are now witnessing the sad demise of the once great Sikh people, who may become an extinct people and a thoroughly indianized people in a few decades. A sad farewell Copied and pasted from another source (not news)
  3. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Prem Paaji i totally agree with you, you raised alot of good points, which i never has thought of. Babbar Khalistani Paaji i think that you are judgeing Islam in this way because you have already defined what Islam is. Which is why your misinterpreting these verses because your interpreting these verses according to how youve already defined Islam. Simular to like if you judge someone and you think there nasty then in everything that they do you think of them in the bad light all the time. And i agree that i dont understand all these verses simulary there are verses in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji i cant understand yet because i have limited knowledge. But brother i would suggest get rid of your prejudice against Islam because its only going to be better for you (no offense i mean that in the best way possible). I dont think the Quran has double standards... Here are the verse numbers: Force conversions not permitted: 2:256 Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. Here is a verse which relates to the people who were forced at gunpoint to convert to Islam: 16:106 Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. And for any people using terrorism to kill people and using Islam as a excuse (this verse shows its wrong): 2:224 And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth all things. About Muslims treating non-Mulsims with respect and vice versa and not being judged according to creed, colour etc because we are all children of Adam: 17:70 NOW, INDEED, We have conferred dignity on the children of Adam, [83] and borne them over land and sea, and provided for them sustenance out of the good things of life, and favoured them far above most of Our creation: WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
  4. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Sad news... Im sorry Babbar Khalistani paaji, i disagree... the reason why i think this is because of the fact that this isn't the true face of Islam...because all this forced conversion stuff etc this is actually against Islam... Islam says 'there is no compulsion is religion' and a famous quote of the prophet Muhammed ji (pbuh) is that he said 'to you be your way, to me be myn' (thats quotes off my head so it might not be the exact words but on the lines of)... which hopefully might show forced conversion shouldn't really be happening. And about non-Muslim rights they should be given by Muslims according to the Holy Quran because the Holy Quran says that if they seek peace, you seek peace... (they referring to non-Muslims i think) and its says that God loves just people... and the Quran says in all circumstances act justly. And top of that the Holy Quran says 'Allah has honoured the children of Adam'... and the Children of Adam is everyone... because we are decendents of Adam... hence Muslims shouldnt disrespect anyone based on religion, colour, creed etc. I hope that cleared things up. 6. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Lol a lil corection... it was written first by The Prophet Muhammed into different pieces of wood etc.. Abu Bakar collected all of them and put it into one book... who gave it to the second caliph and then to his daughter and from this copy the third caliph made copied and spread it to the rest of the Islamic empire... Lol i just looked up again thats why... http://www.submission.org/quran/protect.html WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
  7. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Brother i disagree with you: "Say not that the Vedas and Muslim books are false. False is he, who reflects not on them." (Bhagat Kabir, Parbhati, pg. 1350) I do think the Quran is from God... and there are many signs in there which no one can deny.... i.e. the splitting of the moon which has only been recently discovered in science (i think). About the Quran... simulary to today people have memorised the Quran off by heart without any mistake... it only takes more or less about 4 years to do this... simulary thats how the Quran was memorised then at the time of the prophet Muhammed... The Quran wasnt written by anybody... it was written by the third caliph of Islam (caliph means successor), check this out... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4581684.stm WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

  12. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Thanks for sharing sister. About caste i was reading something a couple of months back... and i think it was a quote from one of the Hindu Purana's which explain about why castes were created or existed in Hindu society... which was talking about each caste was ment to have a specific role in society and the 'lowest' caste (which is the untouchables i think) was ment to look after the other 3 castes... but obviously Hindu's (and even the Sikhs along with them) have blown it out of proportion and made it look as if caste is something to be proud of and as if one catse is superior to the other when it isnt ment to be the case... which makes sense of why the Guru's said we shouldnt have pride in caste etc... becuase it was only designed for people to have a specific role in society and not for people to be higher or lower than one another. 14. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Sikh Grandfather Mistaken for Taliban, Stabbed in Hate Crime India West , News Report, Ketaki Gokhale, Aug 11, 2006 A Santa Clara Sikh man was the victim of a July 30 stabbing that authorities allege was a hate crime. The incident comes on the heels of a recent spike in hate crimes in the surrounding areas of this San Francisco Bay Area county. On average, five hate crimes are reported each month in Santa Clara County, but 13 such crimes were reported in June, according to the local Network for a Hate-Free Community. Iqbal Singh, 66, was standing with his 2-year-old granddaughter in his family's carport in the 3400 block of Agate Drive, waiting to depart for a religious service at the San Jose Gurdwara, when he was stabbed once in the neck with a steak knife. Everett Thompson, the 25-year-old assailant, was a neighbor who said in police interviews that he stabbed Singh because he wanted to kill a Taliban. "We didn't know [Thompson] before," Gurmeet Singh, Iqbal Singh's brother-in-law, told India-West. "He didn't speak. He just walked very close. Iqbal asked, 'What's the matter?' and as soon as he asked, [Thompson] stabbed him." Iqbal Singh then ran toward his family's apartment building with Thompson in pursuit. At the same time, the rest of the Singh family, including Iqbal Singh's son and daughter-in-law, emerged from the apartment. Thompson fled the scene when he caught sight of them. Thompson was arrested at his home shortly thereafter, where police also found the weapon he used, said Jay Boyarsky, who oversees hate-crime prosecutions for the Santa Clara County district attorney, in a San Francisco Chronicle report. Thompson was arraigned in a San Jose courtroom Aug. 2 on premeditated murder and hate crime charges, Deputy District Attorney Peter Waite told India-West. Thompson did not, at that time, enter a plea. "His attorney asked for a continuance, so he will be back Aug. 10," said Waite. "The point of that is to allow the attorney more time. He believes that there may be mental problems with his client and needs time to evaluate him." Thompson is being held in custody without bail. If convicted of the attack, he could face a sentence of life in prison. At press time, Iqbal Singh was in stable condition at a local hospital. His granddaughter was unhurt. "It's a big shock," Gurmeet Singh told India-West. "And, yes, it is a hate crime. But life has to go on. These are the incidents that can happen to anybody." When asked if he feels unsafe, Gurmeet Singh responded, "I don't feel that we're so afraid that we'd move from one place to another for this reason." Area South Asians, and Sikhs in particular, have expressed horror and fear over the recent spate of violence. Annie Dandavati, a local community activist and the founder of the South Asian advocacy group Coalition 2001, told India-West, "We are always concerned when we hear about an act of violence that meets the criteria of a hate crime. First, we have the danger of copycat crimes. Second, it tends to generate feelings of fear, panic and insecurity in members of the group. This in turn could lead people to over-react." To quell community fears, Dandavati organized a discussion Aug. 2 at the San Jose Gurdwara in which a representative from the U.S. Department of Justice and San Jose Vice Mayor Cindy Chavez spoke. "Incidents such as this have become all too common in the aftermath of 9/11," Dandavati told India-West. Sikhs, whose traditional turbans are vaguely similar to those worn by the Muslim Taliban, are frequently the targets in these hate crimes. According to the Sikh Coalition, at least two Bay Area Sikh cab drivers have been shot to death since Sept. 11, 2001, and another was severely beaten. In 2004, bullets struck the entry sign for a Solano County gurdwara and in 2001, a 3-year-old Sikh boy was hit by a Molotov cocktail hurled through the window of his home. "They are examples of hatred that stems from ignorance," said Dandavati. "They point to a real need to continue our campaign of education." click here for source WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
