yeah I agree the audio is so messed up on sangat tv like the microphone never works nd my dad puts the volume on like 60 (he has bad hearing) nd then the microphone works for like 5 seconds and like breaks the speakers.

I also hate how they never stick to their schedule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When they put the same program on both channels, and miss the sofa factory advert that was a catchy tune.. and the fireworks ad, buy one get one free, buy two get one free...thats so annoying it dont come on nomore...

You know wats really annoying?! its a 15 rated film!!!!!!!!!! thats not fair because i went to the Feltham, london UK cinema and the stupid lady wouldnt let me in!! she is just like oh you are underaged!! not fair. :angry2:

I have this really annoying pronunciation problem like on some days I can do my nitnem fluently with very few mistakes, but on somedays I cant even say Karta Purakh properly!! It feels like my mouth is feeling weird and its so annoying and it upsets me how I cant even do my nitnem properly :sad2:

I also have a feeling that the gurudwaras in Pakistan will vanish... well not vanish but as you said, crumble. especially how sikhs r treated in pakistan by the government n talibans/al qaueedyaaas (however u spell it) there is hardly any sangat there, if you look in pictures taken nowadays there is only a few muslim locals who go and visit it. The only time a lot of sangat come is on Guru nanak dev jis gurpurab at nankana sahib...

its all in the hands of the sangat.

um no offence but why do you need a custom made kara??? ordinary sarbloh is good. karas are supposed to remind you of that waheguru has no end or no beginning do u really neeed one custom made??

BC has nice scenerey here and there, but that's about it.

From what I've heard BC is way worse than Ontario.

In what ways?

• weather-wise (Ontario has better weather)
• MAJOR gang/drug/gun/youth problem (due to water access from the ocean and land access from USA)
• MAJOR smuggling problem (due to water access from the ocean and land access from USA)
• MAJOR missionary/kala-afghana stronghold and brainwashed mindset
• Modern Sikhism takeover (examples: tables and chairs for EVERYONE, not just seniors/disabled individuals. Also a major problem is the purposeful mixing of culture and religion. In BC, Nagar Keertans have Bhangra, Giddha and singing performances going throughout the Nagar Keertan, on huge stages and what-not. And the really messed up part is that when you see the people at the Nagat Keertans being interviewed, they say they LOVE it and that there should be more of it happening. More people are focused on the dancing and partying there rather than the Nagar Keertan itself. It's really messed up over there.) You would NEVER (hopefully) see that in Toronto. A lot of Toronto Sangat actually shakes their heads when they hear about these kinds of things going on in BC.
• Ontario has ALOT of Sangat. There is a large number of AKJ, DDT, Nanaksar, etc. Lots of Gursikhs and senior Gursikhs in Toronto or visit Toronto all the time.
• Last but not the least, Ontario has just as nice scenery as BC. If you go even just 20-30 minutes outside of the city, there are beautiful landscapes with trees, quiet neighbourhoods and amazing atmosphere.

I agree, BC nagar kirtans are more like a Punjab parade. surrey is known for its punjabi gangs, crime and those so called sikhs who label themselves as 'jatts'. and yeah toronto has a lot more smaagams and you get more gursikhs living there than BC

brampton is cool!! if your gonna move out of toronto and stuff, I reccomend mission. mission is a town in bc near abotssfield and it has a good sikh population and gurrdwara and stuff. You have really beautiful scenery there like my cousins live there and you can see the forest and the rockies, its beautiful.

but alberta is so cold!!!!

omg yeah! I went to a nanaksar gurdwara there was no nishaan sahib and they also had tiger heads infront of maharaj ji! it smells like weird and like of toof.

Surely there must be more to this than just moving a picture?

My own thoughts are that there should be no pics in Darbar Sahib because all focus should be on Guru Ji but elsewhere in the gurdwara should be fine.

its not in the darbaar sahib, when you come in there is like a big plaza thingy with giant steps, in the middle they have a hukamnamma screen with the meaning and stuff, next to it there is a picture.

yup kids at my school do this, they wanna be kale. some even have ears pieced!

what is happening to gurudwaras these days..... its so corrupt. i like going to clifton road gurudwara in southall its a small gurudwara and i dont think it has these problems.

There was some big political fight there. I saw them all arguing!
