  1. Wahegruooo ji ka Khalsa Wahegurooo ji ki Fatehh! Hi to everyone first of all. Yes I was there when he was about to arrive. Couldnt do nought about it when the commitee had planned him coming so discreetly knowing full well that some youths most probably will ''batter him''. What surprised me though was the amount of bibiyan meditating while he was talking normally, never seem to be doing the same posture when simran is happening so often at the Gurdvara Sahibs at Park ave or Havlock rd. This guy really has a big following, sad that the same followers can not find the strength and answers from Guru Shabad. I dont much about him and RSS but I do believe we as sikhs do not need such a person coming in to Guru jis Darbar telling us how to feel good when we as sikhs should find that spiritual strength from bhagthi...in other words meditation and following our Guru ji's hukum. Bhuk chuk maafs sagat jio. see you soon
  2. Thanx guys.....Gurfateh jio. One photo of us two before I go and will see you all in the future, im not a regular here any more , have come out of the scene for a bit to do other sikhi related work. Hope to see you all soon. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh. (ps. i will read comments when i can....thanx to evry1)
  3. Gurfateh to Everyone...probably been wondering what ive been up to lately apart from tons of uni work and finsihed my last exams and assignment pressure today. Presentations all done...just case studies to hand in on Friday and then..Hols!!!!!!! and WELL a summer job placement too but hey need the extra cash so all good... I guess for those who do not already know...lol......blushes**** I am engaged to get married to Sukhwinder Singh aka SUKHA next summer. We met at Southall Gurdwara and known each other since last year, took amrit same time but only found that out recently....The final getting parents together stuff has been done so.. All my rantings about cant find a chardi kalaaa partner are Over Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh! :TH:
  4. Jaspaul veerji....wjkkwjkf.. I very often am alone....apart from Guru ji being with us (always)...but i constantly say to myself if the king of kings is with me then how can i or anyone else thinking the same, be alone. I understand though the hardness..... cause of feeling it too most days... But something so amazing has begun to happen over vaisakhi and now that I no longer come here or blog much...even didnt come on the internet for a whole week. I think on my first birthday Guru ji has finally blessed with some sangat..and got me involved in seva > which I never entered in to before..and now since finding it have begun to see another lit path towards Vaheguru..... This is the power of sangat at the Gurdvara. It can not be underestimated. I still walk about alone but with a new found confidence and do ardas to Guru ji to keep opening up such paths and prove to a moorakh doubter like me how glorious our Guru ji is and how he listens to us. The internet is wonderful.....but for me personally it shows me a unreal life and makes me fall all too often. For me realism was needed...for anyone else it may be this is working better for them. All paths are different, you need to pajee maybe search where you find that peace more, and where the negativity begins to enter. The net for me becuase of relying on it too much became a form of maya...and maya makes a person fall all so often. Goodluck bro. Your sis. 7. Vaheguruuuu.....Guru ji kirpa.....I'm One Years OLd!!!!!!! :HP: to all other penji and paajis too!
  8. This shabad came as the hukumnana at my amrit sanchar last vaisakhi...since which whenevr I hear this shabad a smile spreads across my face. Vaheguru ji.
  9. Gurufateh bro. What basically Guru ji is saying (to my not so much understanding) is exactly that...offering our head. Giving up your own mat and taking Gurus mat means you believe that what Guru ji (Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj ji) tells us is True and Gurbani is True, evrything in Gurbani is True. To live according to Guru jis hukum is to take amrit....the offering of your head.....then begins the living according to Gurmat. just few thoughts........any bhul maafs, Im still anjaan.
  10. A sikh by definition means learner...which we All are...whether amritdhari or not. We are all sikhs, ones that are not yet amritdhari or ar on the path should strive to move up in their sikhi....in other words show the love they say exists on the inside. The love that exists on the inside will ultimately show on the outside. When we're happy for example we see it in our expression. Literally "student, disciple." According to the Sikh Rehat Maryada, a Sikh is someone who believes in God, the ten Sikh Gurus, in the Guru Granth Sahib, in the importance of the Khalsa initiation, and in no other religion; "Seeker of Truth" Just a few thoughts.

Happy Vaisakhi To All At Sikh Sangat! ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਵਲੋ
  13. Doing paath as much as you want at any time is good. Specifiacally at amrit vela we shud try to do our panj baniya and Rehras paath bani for the evening and Sohilaa Sahib paath before sleeping, if you want to do more throughout the day..thas excellent.
  14. lol...hm Before I took amrit I didn't for 6 months only for about 6/7 weeks. That is full nitnem. Jap ji Sahib paath I used to do about 7 months i think before taking amrit and is what made me fall in love with Gurbani. Each persons journey towards Waheguru ji is different so you to do your banis for however long You want to is ultimately up to you. I suggest not to get too worried of the 6 months exact and try your best and in your own time. Sikhi is unlike other faiths...It is a way of life...for which if you feel you are ready, then nothing can stop you. Guru's mehar and blessings will help you on the path if your rehit is kept and ardas is done with love. For a sikh the ardas plays an important part before any thing new he/she begins in their evry day life. vahegurujkkvjkFateh g
  15. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, Vaheguru ji ki Fatehhh Paji. Some days the mind just does not want to allow you to get up, sleep earlier, it does help but no matter when you sleep you may find the same reluctunce to awake early. What I do is after Sohilla Sahib paath, to do an ardas to ask Guru ji to give me strength in waking the next morning. Set your alram if you want to, although sometimes even when the alarm hasnt set properly and doesnt ring at right time, Guru ji'll awake you. With contiunuos waking at the same time, your body gets used to it and waking up starts to become a pleasure rather than ..."i need to...." Guru kirpa...A big welcome for when you take amrit and become one of the Khalsa family... :TH: Fatehhhh ji.
  16. ਵਾਿਹਗੁਰੂੁ ਜੀ The previous comments.... is there any use in arguing for and against when so much is needed for the joining together of the panth. We have so many divides amongst our selves, Khalsa Raj will take even more longer to attain. Guru bhallla karan Raj Karega Khalsa.
  17. The SGPC are a management committee not the Khalsa Panth. If you want to celebrate Vasaikhi for its Punjabi cultural reasons then why not organise a seperate march from the one celebrating the founding of the Khalsa. then you can chak de fatte, bomb the thumbi, dance with the lambera de nouw and help jagiro play her dhol. 159969[/snapback] ........tooooooooooooo funnnni bro
  18. I hear ya paji ..at the end of the day if we wanted we would ban sych trouble makers or bhangra groups...prob is though...once event starts we the sangat aint guna be able to do much unless the gurdvara committe allows it.... Youth wants it to end..but then theres a difference in thought..which would need to acknowlegded between both generations so a comprimise is made. We cant stop anyone alone....peace gets disrupted and I know situation was bad, but with violenece and pushing them away would only increae it......If a stop was needed then it had to be set up before the nagar kirtan....way before..... Chalo.... Rab bhalla karan. If anyone needs ot be praised...I would like to reali praise the pajis from india who not only work here in jobs but also organise totally all arrangements of Guru ji di seva....MASSIVE Respect to them! Some of the MOST Chardikalaaaaaaa pajis ive ever known ...who my bros are closer with. To Sukha paji Yadhvinder paji Harman paji Channi paji Jasdeep paji all the younger pajis from here and India also...... Gurdev Uncle....Toooooooo Much Respect! a great inspiration to all youth. Fateh also to my Bro's Balraj (part of the Panj Pyarey ) , Baljivan and Gurpreet. VJKKHALSA VJKFATEH
  19. vaheguruuuu ji ka khalsa vaheguroooooo ji ki fateh...... Nagar kirtan was amazing yesterday, luckily I saw inly the positive aspects of it because of being at the front. I was the small singhni wearing nihung stylee distaar holding hands with my two brothers, keeping sangat at bay..lolll....it was good fun and also felt reali reali kool being amongst such chardiklaaa people...... The kirtani were tooooo chardiklaaaaa and all sangat was singing along. Funny thing when Davinder singh ji walked past us ..we were all like woowwww its davinder singh, davinder singhhh!! and then 5 mins exactly later harbhajan maan the singer walked past and no one recognises him..and until he is escorted quite dramatically through where the sangat was standing. ....... All in all it was amazing if you were in the firt 50% of the sangat or doing seva back at gurdvara sahib......hopefully the Sohi Crew get it right nx time.... yeh...we'll jus keep wishing hey!!

  21. ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਵਲੋ ਵਸਾਖੀ ਦੀਆ ਲੱਖ ਲੱਖ ਵਧਾਈਆ A Little Early...Me doing a test before I write my vaisakhi essay....lol.... Its was well worth investing time in this...Highly Recommend to All...
  22. Asoultely spot on bro... Agreee strongly with this. Its getting way out of hand....
  23. This has always confused me too, cause in Gurbani it says to do kirtan/simran in sehaj....meaning chilled out. Then I realli enjoy akj too.. So what is right, i dont know either.
  24. Telling from the non response I guess singhs don't mind what Ive expressed in my last post and no one? cares that bibyan are being held back...Guess itz okay then...Im the only one. How to get out of not caring? It is better to learn something earlier than later, then you have seen the pitfalls and can avoid them in the future. Even if the pitfalls become a part of your need. Chalo. Thanks Vaheguru Jee.....You have your ways of teaching us and I have complete faith that what Guru ji You have planned for me will be all good.
