  5. we're guna get married and how can one moveforward in family life without those aspects of human nature, think thas common sense
  6. One of maskeenji's katha came to mind. He said that what paap we do outside in society, which is not hidden, is voisible...then the public is there, police, laws are there to punish us, eg. whther its stealing, rape, murder whatever. We do the act carefully aare we can get caught. But the paap we do in our minds is hidden from there sources and also we do it so often fearlessly knowing...'no one knows whats in my mind'...God knows and everything is being written down and especially what were thinking and we will get punished in the court of God accordingly. Maskeen ji said 99.9% of us are great paapi's but only 20% are punished here by laws in this world and so many of us walk around free from the clutches of the society but who will saveus from the laws of God. Do we really want to hug burning hot plates, cause according to bani thats what happens if one tinks about the most sex most of his or her time. I'm just as bad as anyone else, guru ji help usall because especially at this age it can be difficult ,need to be strongcontrol our minds and read and understand gurbani as much as possible. vaheguru j

  8. sorry nihung pajee, yeah thas what i meant obviously, b4 and after :TH: jasdeep paji i totally know wat u mean and i ve had experience of that kind of atmosphere and sumtimes get guilty this is us amritdharis , we're no better, mayb even worse....... guru jis teach us to love, not to hate, not to cuss, The biggest thingi get surprised by is that guru ji told us when 2 sikhs nmeet they shud exchange guru's fateh...... everytime ive put my hands together, sooo smae as penji said b4 the other person jus ignroes me completely. usually im the one to say firstand no one will say it to me, jus walk past after giving a stare....? these things may seem small to some but can actually hurt and b damagng bcoz when we entered the khalsa family we wernt expecting to be disowned so quickly, i jus do ardas to vaheguru as much as i can to keep comforting pple facing this and keep them with his naam and in chardi kla.gurus kirpa i feel in chardi kala mostly but sumthing like this issue can have effect on a youth trying to fit in his one true family....The Khalsa Family! :e: :T:  forgive mistakes gurfateh jio
  9. to jasdeep ji, kurehti is for amritdhari who commits the sins he/she shudnt which makes them bbreak their amrit vows and bcom non amritdharis........ these are .......no adultery (relationships b4 marriage) .....................no intoxicants/alohol to be consumed .....................no meat etc .....................not to cut ne hair from head to toe....kes beadbi

  14. some people didn go for reasons known only to themselves :kid:
  15. vjkkvjkf, i recently went down to see my massi's kuri who took amrit same as me, this vaisakhi. she had so much to tell me and after it all i felt down and frustrated at why would a amritdhari be treated like that. since taking amrit she's involved herself with many things but feels hasn tfound the sangat yet, not jus sangat in gurdwara sahib but outside. at sikhi camp she told m how no one even acknowkedged her or thought she existed and these were amritdharis.. she actually bagan to fell as if theres sumthing wrong wit her when obviously i know there isnt, shes gurus daughter  In my experience ive found too that most singh singnees talk bout the khalsa brotherhood, love for all etc but very very few live in that humility. they like to hang around with the one who is cool, and i got to say 'khalsa proper bana looking and strong physically, you may say what! but its true and ive seen that, even if we do say it dont matter how you look but its what exists.....thas the sad truth. many people may not take amrit for these egofied reasons and ive actually found that sum monaa people are more nicer to you even if they dont know you..... newwyys i'mguna see my cousin more oten now seeing what she and others are probably going through and i myself have faced. whats ur view on this and why does it happen to the nicest people who took amrit to progress not digress. forgive ne mistakes gurfateh ji
  16. they're jus WICKED! heard them all week and doing asa di vaar at southall gurdwara today morning....wow and again woW....the enjoyment and ras of asa di vaaw seemed to increase ten fold  respect to them and hope guru ji keeps blessing them and keep them in chardi kla always and that we can hear their awsome kirtan always. vaheguru
  17. Penji hi, its realy good that u wear urs on top thas how it shud be and shows ur not also afraid to answer any questions bout amritdharis etc. these days however, most poeple i know and from waht i see wear theirs under clothes. I wear mines underneath nearly all the time, mayb not so much when im at home. mm i guess you shud wear it underneaath if you know its appropriate and above clothese if its not. At the end of the day we need to show respect to one of most important kakkars. Theres nuthing wrong wit wearing it out or in as long as you know your being respectful. Some poeple also find it easier underneath cause it wont move bout so much but then again saying that the kirpan stilll needs to b adjusted sumtimes if you aint got kamarkas on. At work i waz told to keep my kirpan hidden and wear smaller one ause the one i had, lol was slightly big. I bought smaller one for work but it would still be seen sumtimes and manager told me to put it in way not visible at all, like get this....tucked into ur trousers!!! i waz well shocked an thought no ways, thas proper beadbi. now ive had to buy even smaller one and get my mum to make small gatra to have it completely hidden under my clothes. My workplace poeple had never even heard of sikhsand kirpans, i had to fight a while in beginning to allow them to let me wear it, cause first day they saw it they sent me home. neewayss....penji do wats comfortable to you and thas fine by guru ji. A little respect for thr panj kakkars is all thas needed. gurfateh ji and goodluck
  18. @ im quite confused with the last above quote are you commending this state of mind or dissing, hmmm not too sure, has got me confused for sure don know but ne1 else *thinking mode*
  19. manvit singh paji, vjkkvjkf i think th reason behind sum people not liking panjab radio (personally i like most of it) iz that they have sum contreversiol progs with sum equally contreversial presenters that can take you away from sikhi and leave you with just punjabeeness, not ne further. so itz jus like jatt this jatt that, no what i mean. and people (most i know) will wanna come to see and have darshan of the singers and then guru sahib iz a bnus for them, for sum poeple that seems o be not a chardi kala place to go and experience but rather a step back. jus my views, sorry for mistakes ji fateh ji
  20. just a question me and my friends were talking about and would be intersting to see answer to.
  21. hi sangat iz it right to keep koran in your home when guru granth sahib ji is not in your home. Even if the keper says its for general knowlege and thas it. doesnt research need to be jus in library etc and not in home especially if one is amritdhari. loking forward to reply's
