  1. Go and research the history behind that slogan who coined it and how it was changed.
  2. I get these types of questions too. Sometimes when I am in a happy mood, I would pull their leg by saying "Oh No, I never do path, I have no need to, I was born with all the path already done" or "I am going to do some path in 10mins, would you like to join me?"
  3. If you believe that, then thats your choice, all I will say its a brilliant way out of an discussion. Indeed, I agree with you, May SatGuru Ji bless you and ME with more wisdom. vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh :khalsa: :waheguru:
  4. ahhh, see. its like saying, how long is a piece of string. Nobody knows, its all speculation. Debunking my beliefs? You call riddles debunking? What will I do, I will frame them and pray to them. :omg: Look up what debunking is. Posting a link to a youtube video where a guy is talking about the economic hard times everyone is going through is hardly debunking. Like I said to you before, I am aware of that guy and his work, along with many others. I am surprised you didn't post a link to Alex Jones... Fact is, neither you or anybody knows the future, not even these religious people, no disrespect to them, but I don't go for this hocus pocus doomsday stuff. I personally do not know anybody who knows the future, if you do, then let me know,I would love to meet them. No, I won't see Khalsa Raj in my life time. Then there is the question, what type of Khalsa Raj will it be? Who will lead it? etc. There are many many questions. The Muslims believe the hidden iman will reveal himself within this generation. The Christians say the end of times are near when Jesus will be back. I believe all this has to do with the change of the age and people are planting their "theories" onto this, nothing more. When did Gurbani and the Sikhs start predicting the future. As for Khalsa Raj, I believe its a state of mind, as for worldly rule, or worldwide rule, well its like saying the Mayans will rule the world. It might happen, there is a possibility, however the realistic chances of that happening are very very low. please post another youtube video debunking me.
  5. Talk to Paramjit Singh from Kashi House, or amandeep Singh madra. As far as I know, from my research, this picture is a fake and not of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Its said that this is a picture of Sher Ali Khan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sher_Ali_Khan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Sher_Ali_Khan_and_company_of_Afghanistan_in_1869.jpg http://www.garenewing.co.uk/angloafghanwar/biography/amir.php http://www.afghanembassyjp.com/en/life/?pn=24 now compare the two and pay attention to the style of their turbans. Dude you serious need to do your research and not just use google as your source. Cameras didn't enter India until late 1850's (I will check this and correct it), by that time Hari Singh Nalwa was dead and so was Ranjit Singh.
  6. Forgive me, but this is nothing but propaganda and politics played by Badal and his masters the BJP. For the record, the slogan is Tegh Bahadur Shrist Di Chader. Shrist means entire world. These Hindu groups and Pro Hindu Sikhs have changed it from Shrist to Hind. When these so called Hindu groups honestly and truely side with the Sikhs and demand 1. that the Indian Military hand back the artifacts they looted from Darbar Sahib Library 2. that Gurdwara Gyan Godri be built in its original place 3. chandigarh be given back to punjab, infact haryana and himachal too 4. punjabs waters are not tampered with 5. the sikhs are recognised as a separate dharam within the constitution 6. a full apology given to the sikhs by all hindu organisation for the constant attacks and interference 7. Justice be given to the victims of 1984 and their homes, land, etc be restored back to them. these "brahmins" don't care, they are stooges of Badal and BJP sent to stir things up. This is nothing but politics. Sarna maybe a "gangster", however Badal is no better.
  7. You said it, "sometimes" being the operative word here. There are respectful and loyal people here too. don't forget that. Just do ardas and you will get what you deserve. Most people who get married in India either get married because they can't get married here (UK), or they are seeking a "homely" girl who they think will be a "good wife". this is a big misconception, especially now the way India is. Then we have stupid threads on this site where people cry about the girls here. I think the girls here are fine the way they are. you will be in for a shock when you see the girls in India, even boys, they are even worse. Put it this way, if you get married in India today, you are literally marrying her or his WHOLE FAMILY. start saving up
  8. when you apply to renew her visa or to switch it from two year spouse visa to indefinite, well don't. Just extend it for another two years..... This is a battle of ego, however she needs to respect you, your're her husband and you of course need to respect her. There is alot of culture difference, tell her parents who will talk to her. Her family, etc need to stop interfering in your marriage.
  9. I have read his book, when it first came out over 15 years ago. You still did not answer my questions, stop beating around the bush and answer the question. You are saying that in a decade, meaning 10 years Khalsa Raj will be established. When will these ten years start?
  10. Could he have done it without the use of Yoga? Could he have done it soley with the use of Gurmat? But you are right, who cares, let them do what they are doing. Do you think that Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Binderanwale and the Singhs around him were proper Amritdharis than the white sikhs? See where I am going with this? apperances can be decieving. check out this guys profile. Brilliant person and a devout Amritdhari. [MOD NOTE] NO PERSONAL FACEBOOK LINKS WILL BE ALLOWED
  11. hello can the mods remove the monitoring on my account as they have failed to produce evidence that I broke any rules.
  12. I know who he is and Jim Rogers too. What you are failing to grasp is that this financial "doom" is all engineered to perfection. These people unlike ourselves have a 100 to 200 year outlook on the world. To what end, well I leave that to you research and find out. All of these "wars" and financial doom are all engineered. Nothing happens "naturally". Even the Arab springs are engineered. As for Khalsa Raj, I am not against it, but I surely don't agree with what you are saying. I say again, be open about it, if you are lacing your riddles with the world economy and world war 3, then hey thats your choice. What has world war three got to do with Khalsa Raj? *EDITED*
  13. Brilliant, this is what we need, more pakhand. Absolutely brilliant.
  14. Financial doom? of money created out of thin air? Bad debt which will be written off very soon? *EDITED*. Take a lesson from Gurbani and speak openly and stop *EDITED* So, what does the boom and bust cycle of certain economies have to do with Khalsa Raj? Lets not bother with natural disasters like you said. Economics is one of my areas of interest as an aspiring trader, so please, lets talk. Did you know that Warren Buffet, Goldman Sachs, etc had hugh piles of shares in Freddie Mac & Freddie Mae, AIG,General Motors, etc. Why did they have these investments in them? Well they told their friends in Government to bail them out. Do you actually believe what you see on the news? Warren Buffet currently is buying up small insurance and mortgage companies and cheap dirt cheap property companies all over america, right now. Why is he doing this? Because he has friends in high places. This is a BIG GAME and we are being played. Economic doom, *EDITED*
  15. This is not a stupid thread. Its an issue which effects alot of Sikhs and this elephant should be bought out in the open.
  16. I would contact Ravinder Singh from Khalsa Aid, inform him and make a donation via the on-line secure donation page. A guy was recently arrested in india for collecting money and giving it to the families of Dharmi faujis. Whatever you do, do not advertise it, go there and see their condition, don't make blind donations. I would personally donate to the Sikhs living in Delhis Widow colony, however they need more than jobs, they need to be taken back into the PANTH as SIkhs. Their kids, sons and daughters need partners for marriage, they need jobs, etc. Don't just make a donation to feel good, do it so that it has an long term effect.
  17. You are right, however brain wave activity can be measured with scientific methods and it has been proven that meditation, naam simran, etc directly affects the brain, this change can be measured. Like I said in my above post, I would like to test some of our own "Brahm Gyanis", it would be interesting to see what happens. However I doubt that ANY of the known brahmgyanis would take part.
  18. HS Phoolka is a good Sikh stuck with very bad people who don't care for him or his cause for justice
  19. Political suicide, what are you on???? Here is a scenario for you. India hangs babber khalsa Terrorists.
  20. Khalsa Raj will not happen anytime soon. I would say, give or take a couple hundred years, or maybe never. We as Sikhs have a long way to go before we can create our own country.
  21. I believe they will execute him either next year or on 30years of bluestar operation, along with bhai balwant singh. SHAME ON US for not looking after our own.
  22. Ajmal Kasab, the sacrificial goat. There's more to this that meets the eye. Next will be Bhai Balwant Singh, he will be hanged, this I am certain of, hope I am wrong.
  23. I just don't buy that story I'm afraid. I have not read Suraj Granth, however I will do in the near future, only to understand what is written, who wrote it and why. We must not take literature at face value. Sikhi has had and still has a turbulant history, most of our accounts are written by non-sikhs and even then some of them are biased, etc.. What I don't get is, how could Kalgidhar Mahabali Siri SatGuru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaaj come to him when he wasn't on this earth in his physical form, he left us in 1708 and Bhai Santok Singh wasn't even born until 1787. I think he was educated by the Nirmala order. http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Guru_Gobind_Singh http://www.<banned site filter activated>/writers/KaviSantokhSg/KaviSantokh/SantokhSingh.htm This is a excerpt from the above link The greatest work of Kavi Ji is the Suraj Parkash or Gur Partap Suraj, which is a complete history of the ten Gurus. An interesting event occurred when he had finished writing about the nine Gurus. He was unable to proceed further regarding the tenth Guru. Even after considerable research some of the anecdotes and stories of the tenth Guru could not be confirmed. Eventually Kavi Ji went into a deep meditation and prayed to the Guru for divine help. This divine help came in the form of a Sikh, who came to visit him and stayed at his residence. The next morning the Sikh was not found anywhere but a bag was left behind, which when opened contained all the material required by Kavi Ji for the completion of the Granth. Kavi Ji was very much overcome by this miracle, as he writes, "Bhayo Achanak Sanchey Ayi, Sarab Guran ko jas samudai." Kavi Ji was sure that this was a boon from Guru Gobind Singh Himself, to help him complete this gigantic task.
