  1. just done a quick google search using their images search and came up with the following. Not looked too much into it, but some of the photos are quite self explanatory most of the links are from a ex-3ho-er....make of them what you will. although if I am right, the type of organisation 3HO is, that they will have a justification for this. They recently had a court case, over his estate, where some of the top tier "sikhs" of yogi bhajan left and cut their hair. they then redefined their version of what the "Sikh Dharam Worldwide" is and who Yogi bhajan is and his version of Sikhism. seems like a smooth operation, abit like the Osho people and Iskon. anyway,I am not bothered... http://www.sikharchives.com/?p=9745 http://www.gurmukhyoga.com/forum/images/uploaded/image204.jpg http://www.gurmukhyoga.com/forum/images/uploaded/image170.jpg http://www.gurmukhyoga.com/forum/images/uploaded/image206.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VQHb2-zGRV8/TafwBjH4HWI/AAAAAAAAADs/loQLuvXjofk/s1600/3ho+sikhs+performing+hawan.bmp http://www.sikharchives.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/white_3ho_sikhs_hatred_for_sikhism.jpg interesting one, yogi bhajan with naamdhar guru http://www.gurmukhyoga.com/forum/images/uploaded/image12.jpg

  3. Siri Kalgidhar SatGuru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaaj actually had more than 52 kavis, the number is close to 125. Google Gurinder Singh Mann and watch his video on dasam granth.
  4. This does not surprise me at all. Hope he is well.
  5. Don't cl Don't close it yet, I think I know what the OP is on about. Let me find a link for you, some time please..
  6. Can you post any links to pictures so we can see? is doing a havan against gurmat/sikhi? if so, why?, please explain so that others can know why it is and or if it isn't.
  7. Thats right. Its no wonder that the army police arrested and jailed all the leaders of the akali dal. some even say that the anandpur sahib mata was unrealistic as they know the central govt would never approve it. however parts of the mata have been used by current parties in their policies, unbeknown to the working public, who were caught up in the politics. Guess who wasn't arrested and left out in the open. Guess who was kicked out during the Gurdwara reform movement and guess who has come back to take control. I remember seeing Gurcharan Singh Tora in the UK and when quizzed about blue star he simply said that there are things which he is taking with him to his grave. however I do feel that there is a covert policy against gurmat and the sikhs in general, my personal opinion is that it goes all the way back to SatGuru Nanak Dev Jis visit to the yogis. I also feel that the top cream of the crop hierarchy of Snatan Hindu dharam doesn't approve of the way the shudras have their own faith. We all know how buddhism was eaten from the inside and now even the Dalai Lama says that Hinduism is the parent religion. For a religion which doesn't believe in a God, thats quite a interesting statement to make. of course the high council scholars here will beat me down with the typical "oh look a missionary" stick and lecture me about how I should read Sikh History. anyway, everything moves according to Hukam, so its all going according to plan. vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh
  8. I think that was a requirement of the King of Dubai, that only official flags of the country and union will fly above their buildings. He donated the land where the Gurdwara is built (near the jebal ali hospital) as a gesture of good will and to say Thank You, because the Sikhs in Punjab rebuilt a Shia Mosque I think which had been derelict for over 6 decades. This is what Bhai Dhan Singh told me when I visited Dubai couple of years back. I've been there a few times during the construction phases, etc. Took me a while to find it. The area where it is located is within a larger area where all non-muslim official places of worship are found, like Churches, etc. The Gurdwara is lovely and the facilities are really good, I'll be stopping over when I fly to India next year.
  9. The thing is, you don't know what is going on inside somebodys mind do you? I also think its not a good idea to get rigid. What I do is, I say to myself, "What would SatGuru Ji do in this situation". Concentrate on your Sikhi, on becoming Khalsa. Just taking Amrit doesn't make you Khalsa, in my personal opinion. It takes much more. Ultimately leave everything to Vaheguru (thats a good way for me to end this, as I have run out of things to say, plus I am watching Prometheus in 5mins, lol)
  10. If its a Windows based machine, then I would first recommend MSE, I have never had a problem with this, all my machines run MSE. If you want to buy something, then like the member above, I recommend Kaspersky Internet Security Suite 2012. Question, why does her laptop end up getting corrupt??
  11. Until the Sikhs themselves don't stop caste discrimination, these types of "things" will continue to take place.
  12. I agree, never say never. I might step on alot of peoples toes here, but taking Amrit doesn't make you a good person. there is of course the Rehit. You can say to any future husband of yours that "look buddy, if you want to marry me, then you have to first love SatGuru ji and then me"... Good luck on your journey.
  13. Don't forget the Gurdwara in Dubai. However the Nishan Sahib isn't taller than the building itself.
  14. As far as Gurbani is concerned, its sole concern is to show YOU the way back HOME, You being YOU of course and Home being Vaheguru. The system which SatGuru ji has revealed gives you direct experience of Vaheguru (in stages of course). Human evolution is a scientific term and is ever evolving itself. However because it is a scientific term, you need to remember that mainstream science does not acknowledge the existence of a "soul" or "God". So in that respect you can say that the theory of Human Evolution will be in conflict with your own spiritual journey. Some basic reading for members here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_evolution
  15. again she was lying,(well she is dead now, so can't really confirm this with her). The Akalis were in the process of bringing punjab to a stand still until the centre listened to their demands, which was a constitutional move by them. However we know how many people inside India are aware of what the constitution is, or other codes of conduct. India is run on thuggery.
  16. Parents usually use "emotional" blackmail to coax their children into getting married. I know forced marriages still take place, in India children are still physically forced into getting married. However outside of India its more emotional blackmail. Forcing somebody to do something against their will is not right and goes against the basic human rights of that individual and it is in direct conflict with SatGuru Jis teachings. You must make it very clear to your parents that you will only get married to an practising Sikh male who has taken amirt, if that is your wish. Communication can work wonders..
  17. Its difficult finding a good person anywhere. In the end, everything happens according to Hukam, so concentrate on connecting to Vaheguru, the marriage will sort itself out.
  18. Thanks....I will, although I am sure he/she checks this section of the forum don't they? This is becoming a joke, I guess I will start my own forum to have my voice heard...eh eh eh eh...lol....
  19. Well, until you start taking an active role in how the Gurdwara are run, maintained, etc, then you can stand outside and complain all you like, they will never listen. Not until you shake them up. Example, judging from Sri Guru Singh Sabhas accounts they have surplus cash of nearly 9 million pounds, now I wonder how that will be spent and on what. Sikh Channel and Sangat TV have not update the Charity Commission with their accounts for nearly a year now, or more. This is where the public can go and see how much money is collected and how much is spent and what is left over. Did you know that majority of these charitable institutions can make grants to individuals. *alarm bells should be ringing sangat ji* Sangat needs to wake up
  20. vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh, it seems like some cry babies are afraid of my bold questions, so they have asked the moderators to screen my posts. i haven't insulted anyone, i have only presented the facts which nobody can refute, where I have been wrong, i have admitted to it and corrected myself. can I ask, how long will this go on for? while my posts are monitored, ask the mod to spell check them. oh and whoever that cry baby was, ask them to contact me. lol
  21. The same way the majority population in India, i.e. Hindu's, are discriminating against the minorities, i.e. Sikhs, etc. In that very same way, the majority people who are proud of their Hindu Varan spawned Castes in Punjab, i.e. the Jatts, are discriminating against other Sikhs, this is a fact which nobody can deny. I can cite many examples if somebody wants. One being the most recent' Jaspal Singh's family who was killed in Gurdaspur is given alot of money, from all over the world, cash is pouring in. Sometimes even blindly given. Yet the other guy (who isn't even mentioned) who was shot, but thank god is still alive, nobody even mentions him. INFACT his family are told that they will get the Guru's Happiness only when they take Amrit. I am not targetting the Jatts, I am sure if the Tarkhans were larger in population, they would do the same. This is all down to human conditioning, how humans behaviour is carved out whilst they are growing up, and influences of society, media, etc. Khalistan was and still is a Indian Propaganda Machine designed to single out the Sikhs and represent them as separatists and of course terrorists, guess what, it has worked perfectly. Even Shaheed Sant Jarnail SIngh Ji says in his speeches, that he never asked for Khalistan, he wants the basic human rights for the SIkhs, however now that the Indian Government has rasied the issue if Khalistan, if they give it, we will not say No. We should not get emotional about these issues, they need to be objectively studied not subjectively.
  22. What is interesting that the so called Panthic Government of Punjab dismissed the petition. This shows you their true colours.
  23. Isn't it best to contact the Gurdwaras personally? I remember we had some parshad at a gurdwara in slough and they used butter (which has salt) to make the parshad. well, I went and saw the president, they started blaming the sevadhars. however in the end, the onus is on the management commitee of the gurdwaras. Thats who take in all the money. Until we don't start approaching them, nothing will happen.
