well its up to individuals what ever they want to believe. However, this topic is made to hear more veechaars from those who believe sant ji is alive and will be back. We have strong faith in bachans of maha purashs and we do not believe anything released by GOI. I understand the points made by who believe that sant ji is shaheed. As a singh told me that Being A Shaheed is a big blessing. We all are proud of sant ji weather he is a shaheed or alive. But I believe he is alive according to bachans of mahapurashs whose jeevan was way higher than all us internet warriors. So a simple benti that who do not believe in the information are not welcome to post any stuff which confirms shaheedi of sant ji. BECAUSE WE HAVE FAITH IN BACHANS OF BABA THAKUR SINGH JI. Now I was discussing it with someone and he said how can sant Ji just run and where cud he be possibly Singh: guru gobind singh ji didnt run from chamkaur sahib guru teghbahadar ji wasnt hiding remember for 32 years 9th guru stayed gupt no one knew where guru ji was one thing is forsure they have no clear picture of sant ji shaheed and the pic they show is not him because he had very little hair according to the singhs that stayed with him until the late 90s everyone in the panth agreed he was alive it is just now because it has been a very long time that ppl have lost faith sant ji was supose to give shaheedi in 1978 singhs stopped him then as well baba takhur singh stopped sant ji at that time and said you have alot of things to do still i have spoken to singhs who exited the complex june 6 with sant ji the morning of the 6th sant ji gathered the singhs and said who wants to leave can leave who wants to stay and give shaheedi can stay they all walked out together and sant ji was no where to be seen after many singhs are alive today who exited the complex on the 6th morning giani puran singh who a granthi at that time at darbar sahib, and he asked to see teh body and they told him if he gets close to the body they will shot him no1 was allowed to identify the body, not even sant jis family so that puts the question in your mind that he must still be alive where he is god knows baba takhur singh never mentioned that to us but at times he would say things like now sant jis beard is going white hes not eating much etc etc

your jeevan and ur actions can be a measurement of what you should wear. One thing for amritdharies ( and could or could not be applicable to punjabies) is that the brides should not wear a saari or lehenga. Just a suit should be worn and it could be expensive or even made with diamonds. It could be any color red or whatever... Jewellery isnt bad as long as u do not pierce your ears, nose or any body part. If in your normal life you are fashionable and wear jeans, or other trendy clothes and all of sudden on your wedding day you are surprised about wearing a traditional wedding suit its just b u l l S H * T. if you are bana wearing bibi then u shud wear a bana. If u do not want to wear a traditional wedding suit ie. a red colored with golden/silver designing elements on it then u shud simple wear a simple suit like u wear at house but that looks so weird, at least make it look like your special day and wear a bana or one color suit instead of wearing a printed cotton suit which is too weird and i have seen it. I would say make up is not good. But if it is done within limits just to make your face look finished is not a bad thing. Just like we all apply moisturizing lotion in our normal day life, and whats the big deal making your self look a bit sharper on ur wedding day. Sikhi doesnt not allow any beadabi of roams ( body part) like cutting hair or changing facial hair color by bleaching or make ur face fair things like that. Also a bindi or lipstic shudnt be a part of amritdhari's makeup but u can still finish your lips by applying a very very light color lip finisher just like in our normal day life we apply chapstick which helps keeping our lips moist. Singhs should wear bana or who do not wear bana can wear sherwani. why sherwani? why do singhs wear an english suit then? Sherwani is more closer to our culture instead of wearing an english suit. If in your normal day life you wear jeans, shirt, cool graphic ts, fancy shoes, spray perfume and your jeevan is modern with sikhi then there shudnt be any issue with all above i mentioned. However wearing choora is a cultural part as well but its a personal choice and also indian family and relatives are too stupid to understand the reason, so its kind of like what kind of situation u r in. You shud avoid it but if ur family is not much into sikhi just like mine you can wear it if u do not really care. Me wearing bana on my wedding day will be sick but if i think of my self i do not even keep a high rehit and have a weak jeevan then I am faking it. I would rather go for normal traditional outfit and focus on my rehet and jeevan more in terms of naam bani. these are purely personal views. Everyone should follow what is most according to gurmat and what they really fit in.

i have dreams of listening to kirtan or sometimes doing kirtan of gurbani that doesn't exists .May be calling it gurbani is inappropriate but i am doing kirtan of something and in the morning i feel like this was not gurbani and then i forget those lines.

You did a great Job explaining stuff to ur manager. I understand ur feelings but this is not always the case with every Sikh.

I watched a video from sur sagar channel where sant hari singh Ji were debating on Manu issues. In the next episode some kala afgana people were supposed to come and hari singh Ji said that he is ready to debate with anyone as long as the person is not excommunicated by akal takhat sahib.

this is exact same problem i have, i cudnt go to sleep b4 1am. so bad, i never did amritwela and i want to be able to so that. even if u wake upa t 530 which i have to because of work and i cannot do paath on my way to work and i fall asleep in bus/train. i think i know the answer now is to go to bed early.

the first video is from village called kahna dhesian, these are deh dhari pakhandi and they call them mahapurashs and have guru sahib;s swarrop there, they deal with bhoot pret stuff pretty much and people who are dukhi come there to get relief but it is all fake and anti gurmat. I was surprised when I saw Bhai jasbir singh's video doing kirtan at that place at multiple bhogs of akhand paaths there and highly praising the mukhi and the original mukhi of that place. I cannot find the video now I think I watched it live somewhere may be on TV. First video is completely wrong

the thing i am going to say is like awar updese aap na karey , avat jawat janmey marey but if u r not currently working that means u probably have a lots of time. try doing mool mantars and 11-25 or more paaths of jap ji sahib a day
