  1. you are not a beginner! YOU ARE ADVANCED!!!
  2. my question indirectly is also asking why natural disasters happen  millions of people dying instantly. whats all that?
  3. First of all I believe the power of Ardas. And this is all we helpless humans can do. I am kinda answering my own question by saying that ardas can chnage anything and make a dead person live again. But my question if you think from another prospective is that what is how ardas makes sense when everything is done by nature/God/Waheguru himself. I cannot forget a person said to me when I said waheguru is Nirvair and he replied then why are millions of people killed in earthquakes and natural disasters brutally . All I need is do have some veechaars on this.
  4. OK you have seens Bibia performing kirtan and there are many raagi jathey of bibia. You are not closely aware of job granthi singhs do there. They have a tough life and they do not get proper respect (sometimes due to their greedy nature). Their pay is low and they are supposed to go house to house and collect money for SANGRAAND every month. And usually have to face some people who do not want to give money every month but they do it and they say bad things to granthi singh. The image of granthi singhs in India is not respectful and they are a character of fun among ordinary people. They crack jokes on granthi singh and its not new thing. Granthi Singhs are sometimes called fat and also people say and think that all they eat is just Karah ( karah Parshaad )and do everything for money without any inner feeling of guru seva. I must say that Granthi Singh job is a man job, If Mayi Bhago could fight in battle of course a lady could also perform this job but the thing is first of all Gurdwara Committees aren't looking for lady granthans. Why would any lady be interested in doing that? They choose doing kirtan which gets them higher respect and also the higher pay. Punjabi culture and people cannot even imagine this happening and u are expecting to have lady granthi in India. I have not heard of this kind of news even in western countries because Gurdwara committees everywhere are typical punjabi people. Some white Sikh Bibia I think have done it because their culture is different from punjabi culture. Also punjabi ladies barely do any other jobs, majority of them are house wives. No lady would ever have thought of being a granthi.
  5. I have heard that chandi di vaar da paath helps u having victory over dushat people. I have also heard from my close friends whose parent's other friend whose husband died and her brother in law who was a dusht kinda person came to their house and was not leaving and wanted to take all their property or something, So the family did chandi di vaar da paath all night together and next day that dhusht person left their house. My family is in kind of same trouble with their business. I wanted to know how chandi di vaar da paath could be done in proper way.
  6. that makes much more sense. thank you again. However I would like to hear more stuff in sakhi roop may be. There should be some bachans of mahapurashs sant bhrahamgyani jans?
  7. mohinderpal thank you for ur views my question is pretty simple i dnt knw where the cham-dristhi thing came from. There is nothing i said about skin or something like that. i dnt wanna make it complicated.
  8. mere dimaag te ki aaa? Whats on your mind?

  9. basant basically is a season but a raag is also made which has feeling of basant season.
  10. chunni over dastar is sick and it shud be wore when bibia go out and gurghars but I agree 100 percent with original poster, BIBI Ashupreet Jatha is the example which I personally felt many times when I saw her. I cant imagine a BiBi With keski alone doing Kirtan :o chunni is must to have but dastar shud also be visible.
  11. As it is Basant season in India and sangat enjoys the Basant Raag Kirtan from Darbar Sahib. Yesterday Bhai Narinder Singh ji was reciting this beautiful Shabad ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ Ik Oankaar Sathigur Prasaadh || One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਕਤ ਜਾਈਐ ਰੇ ਘਰ ਲਾਗੋ ਰੰਗੁ ॥ Kath Jaaeeai Rae Ghar Laago Rang || Where should I go? My home is filled with bliss. Maeraa Chith N Chalai Man Bhaeiou Pang ||1|| Rehaao || My consciousness does not go out wandering. My mind has become crippled. Eaek Dhivas Man Bhee Oumang || One day, a desire welled up in my mind. Ghas Chandhan Choaa Bahu Sugandhh || I ground up sandalwood, along with several fragrant oils. Poojan Chaalee Breham Thaae || I went to God's place, and worshipped Him there. So Breham Bathaaeiou Gur Man Hee Maahi ||1|| That God showed me the Guru, within my own mind. Jehaa Jaaeeai Theh Jal Pakhaan || Wherever I go, I find water and stones. Thoo Poor Rehiou Hai Sabh Samaan || You are totally pervading and permeating in all. Baedh Puraan Sabh Dhaekhae Joe || I have searched through all the Vedas and the Puraanas. Oohaan Tho Jaaeeai Jo Eehaan N Hoe ||2|| I would go there, only if the Lord were not here. Sathigur Mai Balihaaree Thor || I am a sacrifice to You, O my True Guru. Jin Sakal Bikal Bhram Kaattae Mor || You have cut through all my confusion and doubt. Raamaanandh Suaamee Ramath Breham || Raamaanand's Lord and Master is the All-pervading Lord God. Gur Kaa Sabadh Kaattai Kott Karam ||3||1|| The Word of the Guru's Shabad eradicates the karma of millions of past actions. ||3||1|| My question is that I have heard that this shabad's first line are by BhagaT Ramanand ji and then after bhagat ji said those lines he went to a bliss and he couldn't complete the rest and I am not sure If 5th guru sahib ji or 4th guru Sahib ji completed the rest. I do not even remember where I heard this from. I did my research by listening to Katha by both Sant Gurbachan Singh ji and Gyani Thakur Singh ji but they did not mention anything about it. Also when I listened to Sant Gurbachan Singh ji's Katha and Sant ji said that according to Janam Sakhi of Bhagats written By Bhai Lehna Ji ( Kabir Panthiye ), Bhagat Ramanand ji met Guru Nanak Dev ji at the place where Gurudwara Guru Ka Bagh is situated now in KANSHI city in BANARAS. I searched Bhagat Ramanand ji and found that Bhagat Ji's life time was (1360-1470) and Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in 1469 so its just one year or may be even less bhagat ji and Guru sahib shared their life time and Guru Nanak Dev ji was just one year old or even less. How could they phisically meet at Banaras and discuss. ( this question came into my mind while I was searching my answer of the following question) Original Question: How was Bhagat bani collected? and when Bhagats refer to word GURU in shabads just like Raamaanandh Suaamee Ramath Breham || Raamaanand's Lord and Master is the All-pervading Lord God. Gur Kaa Sabadh Kaattai Kott Karam ||3||1|| Do they refer tO Guru Nanak Sahib or any of 10 Guru Sahib's or their original Gurus, For eg. in this shabad is Bhagat Ramananad Ji referring to his Guru Guru Archarya Ragavnand? and also Bhagat Kabeer Ji, Ravidas Ji, Pipa ji, Sain ji and Dhanna ji were the disciple of Bhagat Ramanand ji, are all these Bhagats are reffering to Bhagat Ramanand ji as Guru if not how come Guru Nanal Dev ji Shaib? if not Guru Nanak Sahib then Who else? I know it is something not oridinary or simple to understand. I ask for forgiveness if I said something disrespectful to Bhagat jans or Guru Sahibs by mistake. I cannot wait to have veechars on this question and absorb gyaan. I would love if someone shares the views of Sant :L: Mahapurakh :L: Bhrahamgyani :L: jans. Waheguru.

  15. i have heard many people talking about their relatives and friends that they became alive after they were dead and they usually tell that jamdoots took them by mistake and when they reach to dharam raaj's court, dharamraj has a huge huge book and they then tell jamdoots that this is the wrong person send him back immediately before his body is burnt. they describe the scene as their are long lines and then names are called and stuff like that. I trust the people who have told me these things and I am sure it is true. Can anybody just share similoar stories and we can also discuss how is it possible. May be some Mahapurashs have told sangat about these kind of incidents.

  17. http://www.gurbaniupdesh.org/multimedia/04-Katha/13-Giani%20Thakur%20Singh%20Ji%20%28Patiala%20Wale%29/00-Nitnem%20Sateek/02-Jaap%20Sahib-Pauri-142-160.mp3 in this audio, ਅਗਾਧ ਸਰੂਪੇ ॥ is present. Also ਅਨੰਗੰ ਸਰੂਪੇ ॥ which contains ਬਿਭੂਤੇ has different meaning there as according to katha or it may be the synonym in punjbai. I think ਬਿਭੂਤੇ means tej-partaap which means powerful glowing appearance . according to katha lemme try identifying the meanings ਅਨੰਗੰ = very beauitful ਸਰੂਪੇ = face/appearance ਅਭੰਗੰ = unbroken ਬਿਭੂਤੇ = here gyani ji said a word aishwarj which is wealth. Wealth is not just money but it is being used here as a description of virtues of God. Pretty much its tej-partaap which means powerful glowing appearance which makes it same as ਬਿਭੂਤੇ used in ਅਗਾਧ ਸਰੂਪੇ ॥ It would make a better sense if we recall the synonyms of wealth here : —Synonyms 2. richness, amplitude, fullness. 3a. possessions, assets, goods, property, money. 5. opulence, fortune. lets try ਅਗਾਧ ਸਰੂਪੇ ॥ ਨ੍ਰਿਬਾਧ ਬਿਭੂਤੇ now ਅਗਾਧ = Fathomless: –adjective- 1. impossible to measure the depth of; bottomless. 2. impossible to understand; incomprehensible: fathomless motives. ਸਰੂਪੇ = face/appearance/ entity ਨ੍ਰਿਬਾਧ = Unhindered ਬਿਭੂਤੇ = Splendor Splendor –noun 1. brilliant or gorgeous appearance, coloring, etc.; magnificence: the splendor of the palace. 2. an instance or display of imposing pomp or grandeur: the splendor of the coronation. 3. grandeur; glory; brilliant distinction: the splendor of ancient Greek architecture. 4. great brightness; brilliant light or luster. I used hindi to english google translation to find out some easy and exact meanings of some words. hope this help u shud simply listen to the jaap sahib katha by gyani thakur singh ji
  18. ok i managed to get the pics of all mukh sevadars after Sant Baba Khem Singh ji After Baba Khem Singh ji Baba Joginder Singh ji were made the Mukh Sevadar ^SANT BABA JOGINDER SINGH JI (2nd Mukh Sevadar) Current and 3rd Mukh Sevadar is Baba Ajit Singh ji who actually came to Alachor Kuttia for Carpentry Work and he stayed there and did seva and was made the 3rd Main Sevadar After Sant Joginder Singh ji. ^Baba Ajit Singh ji The story I know about Sant Joginder Singh Ji is like this, Sant Joginder Singh Ji's parents had no child and they went to Sant Baba Khem Singh ji and asked for child Daat and also said that they will surrender their child in their seva. So time passed and Sant Joginder Singh ji took birth, but parents forgot their promise or they ddnt wanted to leave their son at the tapp asthan in seva of Baba Khem Singh ji, Time passed and Baba Joginder Singh Ji started going to school and for that he had to across the border of Pind Alachor, One day Baba Joginder Singh Ji told his parents that when he go out of pind he is not able to see anything. His eyes become blind when he leaves the village. Then parents went to Baba Khem Singh ji and told Baba ji everything. Sant Khem Singh ji reminded them the promise they made about their son before his birth. From that day Sant Joginder Singh ji stayed there and did seva of asthaan and mahapurashs. I will ask my relatives more about it.
